@@kenzoenzo5586 Kito diet means low carbs high fat (and quite amount of fiber too, of course). Just reduce your carbs gradually until you can adapt with keto diet better. Even complex carbs like whole grain bread, brown rice, organic oats and nuts will eventually turn into glucose in your body and raise insulin. You can still eat them but keeps the portion really small daily. Cut out the table sugar/simple sugar from your life as much as possible like soft drinks, fast foods, sweet cakes and white bread etc. not only they contain too much refined sugar and trans-fat, but they are also poor in nutrients and protein. Even fruits you cannot eat too much, for examples 6 mangos or 10 oranges per day, because they contain glucose and fructose. Sugar has two main factors: glucose and fructose. Although too much glucose is bad but all the cells in our body can still process it, but only the liver can process fructose, the same with alcohol that can be processed by the liver only. Therefore, excess fructose will cause liver damage and lead to fatty liver. There are healthy fats you could add in your meal like avocado, olive oil, egg, fatty fish like salmon, sardines, mackerel, herrings, anchovy etc. organic butter, sugar-free yogurt, real cheese (not processed American cheese used for army which is just a cheese byproduct), you can even eat a lot of meats and red meat in moderation too, because the total cholesterol is not really matter, as long as you know how it works, you just keep an eye on HDL cholesterol levels and LDL cholesterols levels. Recent studies show LDL is not originally a bad cholesterol, our own body produces it to help with a lot of things, they only become bad when they get damaged and then they shrink so small, so that when they become bad. Hence, when doing blood test for cholesterol levels, you should check for the sizes of LDL particles too (LDL-p). For veggie just consume only small amounts of starchy ones like potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn, beans, chickpeas, winter squashes, lentils etc. and don't eat them daily like staples, especially when you are still insulin resistant (which means your insulin levels high). For broccoli or cauliflower they are not starchy, and leafy veggies are safe to consume. You can eat what you want when you are insulin sensitive and metabolic-balanced (that's why some people abuse this advantage to eat junk food excessively and then quickly be able to reverse the weight and jump to the conclusion that if they can do that so anyone should be able to do that too, if not then they are just lazy, but they don't know that everyone has different metabolism). On the other hand, when you are insulin resistant (you can do a blood test of your insulin levels and IR-HOMA to figure out whether you're insulin sensitive or insulin resistant), then you'd better to apply some specific diet and lifestyle change to reverse that, or else your metabolism is dysfunctional then you can have type 2 diabetes, obese, vascular disease or gout after 10-20-30 years later, and it happens not suddenly, but slowly affected by your eating habit and a lot of people are unaware of that, unfortunately. There is another important key factor beside the style of diet is intermittent fasting, which means reducing your eating time window to a specific restricted hours so that your insulin levels have more time to go down. Any other diet style can apply with intermittent fasting, and everyone has to figure out what suits for them most through trial and error. For more information, you can watch Dr. Eckberg's channel for suggestions (he's a chiropractor, a holistic doctor and a former Olympic athlete, not a medical doctor, but he has good knowledge about nutrients and some practical advice than some medical doctors out there, I know a lot of medical doctors are good and knowledgeable, but not all). You don't have to follow strict keto diet like he promotes, but a lot his videos could help you understand more about the mechanism about insulin, glucose, some amino acids and other important hormones functioning in our own body. I've learnt a lot from that channel for 3 years, and I still watch other channels to see if what he taught can really apply effectively. A lot of these knowledges still works so far and have helped me changing my lifestyle slowly and focusing better health too.
@@kenzoenzo5586”ketogenic” refers to the production of keytones which mainly use fat as a source of energy rathar than carbohydrates, so the diet is high fat low carb (some are acceptable in small quantities). Stuff like olive oil, butter, avacados, high fat meats, nuts, veggies are acceptable, fruits are OKAY in moderation, unsweetened coffee/tea, alcohol is a rare occasion. Thank you to everyone who participated in all of the information. I'm 65 yrs old. My husband who is now Deceased 3yrs. He had gout for about 3yrs, 43yrs old to maybe 45yrs old. And he was very stubborn. I'm prepared to improve my health..thank you. 🙏❤️✝️
From my own experience, you just need to avoid sugar as much as you can, eat smaller meal portion, avoid excessive fried/greasy foods, and do some casual exercise/stretching your body daily. Had gout attack (ankle/toe) once every 3-4 months to ZERO last year & this year since I started controlling my body.
I’m starting to experience weak feet strength particularly one side of the small toe causing imbalance when majority of weight is put on that particular foot.I do not drink wine or soda but I do enjoy carbonated water. I’m wondering if that is causing the over production of uric acid.

I cured my gout (and T2 diabetes, arthritis, high blood pressure, and on and on) by switching to the Carnivore diet. I've eaten this way for twenty months now and am experiencing the best health of all my 75 years.
Absolutely no fruits or vegetables. Start with beef, salt, water for about 3 months. Take very fatty cuts. Like very fatty ones. Your meat to fat ratio should be 1 to 1. Supplement with butter when there's not enough fat. After 3 months, introduce slowly, other meats, starting with ruminant meats. Keep eating fat.
@@marielle3929 after faaty liver, you evolve and go towards cirrhosis. As someone who's had fatty liver and cirrhosis, I strongly adivse you to get on carnivore. Not all fat is made equal and seed oils are the most dangerous. Animal fat is the best you can eat. It's full of nutrients that you absorb way better and easier than ever.
What causes gout? Hyperuricemia. What causes hyperuricemia? 2 reasons. First is the kidney problem (not enough elimination from the body) and the second reason is the purine metabolism disorder. What causes the purine metabolism disorder? The lack of ensymes that controlls the purine metabolism. What causes the lack of those ensymes which is the main cause-the answer is MICROBIOME IN THE GUTS.

I was diagnosed with gout 2 years ago, at 60. I have had symptoms related to gout for 30 years, but no one ever checked for this. Consequently, I now have bone on bone arthritis in both knees. I wish I had pressed harder for a diagnosis, much earlier.
I second that. Go carnivore and feel young again. 10 months in at 77 and it's amazing. Also quit coffee. I quit a week ago and my last hand arthritis is about gone and I work them extremely hard. Amazing how we have been lied too. Just search YT for carnivore doctor and learn.
My gout is triggered by eating or drinking high fructose corn syrup. I have found tart cherry juice (2 bottles) will break a gout attack within a couple of hours.

I`m 64 yr old male. Had two gout attacks after turning 60. First one after a 22 day water fast. Did`t take enuf minerals. # two was after experimenting with a dry fast. So for me the solution to avoid gout is to drink water. Every time I forget to drink fluids my big toe starts to get sore and warm. I drink a lot of water and gout be gone. I`m pretty much a carnivore, eat some cauliflower mash. This is the best gout vid I`v seen and I`v seen plenty. Thanks.
@@TheBlades345 Hi there, I didnt drink enuff water the twp times i had a gout attack. The first attack I got when I didnt take minerals and the second was during a dry fast for 24 h . Every now and then my toe gets sore and thats when I know I havnt had enuf water. It has been several yrs since my last attack. I havnt been on a strict carnivore diet all yr. It I could get the mrs on board it would be a lot easier:) I got some uric acid test strips and eating meat dose not raise uric acid for me. Beer and wine dose raise uric acid levels quite a bit. I should test fruits two as many say fructose is the worst for gout. Dont really like fruit so might skip that test:) Come October I will go on the lion diet for a few months. Doing carnivore just makes me feel really good. So for me drinking aqua and taking minerals has been the remedy for avoiding gout. I also dont drink booze a whole lot anymore. During the summer I might have a few beers when golfing and a sip of Islay Whisky now and then. I don t drink enuf to get drunk anymore which is weird as I ve been a heavy boozer most of my life. Take acre and greets from Finland:)
It had been forever since I had a major gout attack. 6-8 months. Recently I even started working out and changing my diet. I began to drink a lot of water everyday after having so-so minimal amounts for months. Then recently I got the flu shot and became ill, followed by bronchitis from my 3-yr old. I became severely dehydrated and stopped working out for a week and got diarrhea. When everything calmed down, I had a splurge night of a bottle of Red Wine with some greasy lamb and chicken along with the wine. I was just asking g for it. It's been 24 hrs, and I've taken colchicine and drank lots of water, but I'm still in massive amounts of pain in my big toe. Hoping it dies down soon, cause I can't sleep a wink.
YUP, I am going through the pain right now, I have not sleep for 3 days straight the pain is so constant and intense. I would not wish this on anybody.
This is interesting, Never heard any Dr mention it. I get bad flare ups for months at a time. I'm currently two months into one. The past 6 years have been hell. I've stopped alcohol, done keto, carnivore, vegan, vegatarian, everything. Nothing helps. I'm praying this will help because i might just amputate my ankles and feet if I can't make it stop soon. 🤞
The last time I had gout coming on (during morning commute)....I drank an excess of water. Lots and lots of water. LOTS of water. All symptoms were gone by early evening. At the time, none of the searches I did made this recommendation.

Just drink water and use an ice pack. Intake should be 12 to 15 glasses a day to flush the uric acid from your body. Of course, Colchicine and Tylenol.
Sorry, I just got over gout that lasted from March through April. Was very slow to recover. I was forced onto standard diet during a hospital stay. Their food was attrocious. I only at cheese and eggs by the time I left. Back to Carnivore and I am slowly getting better and rebuilding my muscles.

I was in the same situation from April earlier this year I’m until September. Both toes, ankles, knees, and left elbow. Right before then I was considering doing a carnivore diet but became afraid of eating anything. What kind of meat are you mostly eating for your carnivore diet that it doesn’t cause a flare up?
Just drink water. Monitor your intake religiously. Winter is easy to forget because your thirst reflex. I get caught out. The other thing is stress. Something with the kidneys I think makes me pee too much.
Magnesium citrate also may cause side affects.. I take it, but have sensitivity issues. I’m hoping it helps my joint and muscle pain, despite those minor side affects.
Regarding GOUT: I watched both your videos on gout. The following is a document I wrote for a man with gout. I'm now 78 and still using Fennugreek or Methi seeds daily. I'd be interested if you've heard of that treatment or considered using it for patients like me. Incidentally, I was interested in your comments about the liver. I have some problems with my liver that are being monitored for the past few years. I have to wonder if there's a relationship between my liver issues and my gout. "I'd like to offer something that has saved me a lot of discomfort for almost two years; since April 2019. This is admittedly anecdotal information, I discussed with my family doctor. His response was "if I think it's helping, keep doing it". I don't drink alcohol nor do I smoke. I'm about 10 pounds overweight and 75 YOA. I'm active; fishing, kayaking, yard work and bicycling. I eat very little red meats, more chicken and occasional fish and sea food (I do live in Florida, after all). My gout usually presented in the ball of my foot. I was diagnosed in the late 80's while still on active duty with the USAF. I was in my early 40's. I was given Indocin and took it, as needed, for occasional flairs until about 1.5 (now almost 2) years ago; so 20 years or so. My current doctor recommended I take large doses of Naproxen instead of the Indocin. In short, he explained that Indocin was bad for me but the Naproxen wasn't quite as bad. That sure made me feel good. It did work, but I still had occasional flairs if I drank too much caffeine or ate too much fried food, the two things that caused me problems. I was having a flair, enough to cause a limp, about 4-5 times a year, and an occasional achy foot at least once a month. My uric acid was always a bit high. During a flair, I happened to see an East Indian acquaintance at his place of business (Indian Market and Restaurant). He asked about my limp and I explained. He told me about himself and his father's experience with chronic arthritis. His father, and he, used Methi (Fenugreek) seeds daily to control arthritis and said that the seeds were also effective to treat gout. I asked the obvious questions. I was somewhat familiar because my wife uses the seeds in Indian dishes. He said to eat a small amount (NFI) daily and I wouldn't have the problem. He told me to soak the seeds in water to soften them if I wished. When I returned home, I looked them up on-line and asked about them in two health-food stores. The information was positive...”it couldn't hurt!” For over a year (now over 4) I've taken a rounded 1/2 teaspoon of softened (soaked) Fenugreek seeds every day (pretty much) with other meds that old men take. I've had no real attacks of gout since. Seems like I may have had an ache or two right after I started, but nothing like I had before. I have a plastic dry container (sealed), I soak the seeds overnight and, then I pour the softened seeds and liquid into a glass, and put another amount (1/2 teaspoon) into a small glass bowl with water to soak for a day. I drink the liquid and the seeds. No bad taste and my blood tests haven't changed and uric acid is in normal range. I've passed this info to a number of gout sufferers. I don't know if the info is common knowledge, this side of India, that is, but I'm convinced! The seeds are cheap and available on-line and cheaper in Indian or Asian food stores. My doctor said he was going to research it, but never mentioned it again. I'd be interested if you've heard of it before". Michael S. Dameron, USAF, Retired

@@DieselRamcharger Same here... had gout 3 times in 2 years... always after working hard in the heat with little water but lots of beer. Its all about my water intake.
I’ve never had high uric acid, and I get tested every six months, but I have very bad flareups of gout about once a year. It’s in my knees, heels foot, but rarely in my toes. I’ve had it in my elbows, my fingers, even in my ears. The one thing I’ve learned in the last 20 years is that doctors don’t know what it causes it. If I go on a diet of so-called low pure foods, that’s when I have the worst episodes.
I AGREE. Please make sure to stay well hydrated. Different people have different triggers, but if you’re avoiding red meat, seafood, etc., and not staying well hydrated, you’re doing it wrong.
In my experience stay hydrated with distilled water …. Tap water from municipal sources are terrible and caused the worst gout flare up in my life…….have you noticed they are pushing smart water on tv? Guess what it is ? Straight distilled water.. I buy it by the gallon for around a buck. I’m thinking of getting my own distiller. Do not hydrate with tap water!
Hey, Doc, you spelled -pees- peas wrong. ; ) I've tried ice packs, no good! I find that a bucket of hot water almost too hot to stand works as I use to get it in the big toe and now it settles in my ankle. Dip in until you can't take it pull the foot out cool down a bit, then rinse and repeat. For me it works like magic to relieve the pain. I've also found that getting 100% *Tart* cherry juice mixed 50/50 with 100% cranberry (no added sugars) from a health food store helps a lot. Of course *if* I was smart I would drink 6oz of this a day to prevent all this pain.
If you can stand it, 100% recommend the soaking in hot water treatment. I think the cold prevents the crystals dissolving. Your foot will swell, but that helps recovery. Also, keep your feet warm and elevated.
You may not have gout, but what they call pseudogout, gout responds to cold packs, but if you don't experience relief with the cold then it is not gout. There is some literature about it. Check it out.
Thank you so much for the excellent clear explanation. It has not only helped me to understand the subject clearly, but it has also helped me to control my uric acid level.

I've had gout since my 30's...recently discovered this...in under a week of going Keto with electrolytes, no more gout /arthritis pains! I've eaten more red meat in the last 6 months than in the previous 10 yrs....no gout in my feet and knees, and no more arthritis in my elbows/back ... ALL GONE!!!
Never had gout but after a NDE developed serious arthritis. Painkillers didn't work, supposed healthy diets made it worse. Went carnivore and in a few weeks it was gone. Now train most days, cycle, lift weights and use a punchbag. We were lied to all of our lives so that big food could maximise profits with carbs.
I suffered from gout flare ups for about ten years, although it wasn’t diagnosed for about 9 1/2 years (I initially though it was a floating broken bone in my foot caused by a fall as it was triggered by that trauma, although there was no sign in the X-ray I had done), when it changed foot and also went up to my knees. I did some online research and ended up doing the total opposite of what my doctor told me, did a bit of research and cut out stuff like processed foods, cereals, green vegetables, kale, spinach, chard, rhubarb. I started eating more meat and also took a black Cherry supplement. It went and has never returned. I stopped taking the supplement after a while but kept a couple of bottles in the cupboard just in case, they are still there.
I got covid in 2021, started having lower back pain same year. By 2022, I had back and tailbone issues. Doctors saw nothing, chiropractor said it's a misaligned spine. Went to bone doctor due to swelling hands, he said all is well except my uric levels are high (gout). I also have kidney disease. Since he placed me on meds last week, I have been getting worse every day. I am in more pain with my toes, fingers, joints. I'm so frustrated. Can't get cherries now, but will get some celery tonight.
Foods that increase uric acid ate asparagus, cauliflower, herring are a few of the worst. Fix by taking extra Vit C, tons of water, cherry cranberry juice, any red or dark berries. I buy dried fruit in a bag , includes cranberry, cherry, blueberries. Vit C is a big part. As is water.
How are you feeling? Similar condition, cut off sugar and improved tremendously, twisted ankle and had a flare up, been trying the baking soda half teaspoon one a night and experienced tremendous relief.

Thanks for your advice Doc about uric acid cause for the past few months my big toe and ankle hurts, I feel it is uric acid from watching videos, I will change my diet to get the results i so desired
same here, also beer has a high purine content and alcohol generally dehydrates the body and also components of beer such as yeast slow down the breakdown of uric acid in the body. nevertheless, i always take it as a warning when i get a gout attack. then i have always not lived and eaten healthily
Currently in agony over an extremely flare up in my ankle. It started at 26 yo. I’m 44 now. I’ve gone years without flare ups and sometimes just weeks in between. Driving to pharmacy now for indo. This isn’t my worst but top 3-4 for sure. I can’t ever pinpoint my diet with any certainty. But I do know I haven’t been drinking enough water.
Like you, I got gout at an early age of 25. What works for me is Celery Root extract. I've been taking this daily for the past 2 years and I never had a flare up ever since. I'm 35 now.
Think of your joints as a battery reserve for uric acid. If you are maintaining a healthy weight and diet there is not a problem. Slowly cumulatively it is building up until an attack is triggered. This is why you can't pinpoint. For me it is lentils and bran and poultry. If I overeat any of these for too long it will trigger an attack.
Yo Doctor...I've get gout once or twice a year for the last 5 years. I'm overweight, high blood sugar, fatty liver. I have the metabolic syndrome symptoms. I thing I usually eat that triggers it is a bowl of organ meat. Well, since I began experimenting on myself with the carnivore diet( red meat, eggs, and animal fat, no veggies) i haven't gotten gout yet. And I've try to get it based on my diet😂. I've had bowls and bowls of organ meat, and red meat almost every day for a months. And nothing, which is great news. Feeli good all around and I'm not dead. BP is good as well. Down 10lbs too.
But how is your uric acid? I saw a video here too someone saying he feels great after 60 years by switching to carnivore diet. But he just came back with a result tests and his UA is 9.5 but no Gout attacks so that means, eating those you mentioned DOES increase uric acid. But does not cause inflammation? Hence you are okay.
Carnivore, keto, lion diet is the best and only way to eat all the sugars, refined carbohydrates and seed oils are most dangerous. Not only did it change me physically but mentally too.
6:47 - 10:44: I recently learnt diet contributes to one third of uric acid levels in the body (exogenous) whereas the other two thirds is contributed by other factors (endogenous). I feel reasonably comfortable resuming meat/fish this year given vegetarian seems to have stopped helping after a few years. As discussed, this year I’m avoiding sugar and processed foods to see if it helps (despite the resumption of meat).
If I'm understanding you correctly because I have gout and my right foot the ball of my toe my big toe now if I drink beer which I like beer I noticed that I get the pain from gout you telling me if I drink a lot of water after drinking beer I will not have this problem...?
I am 27 years old, I started to experience gout from 2012 in my left ankle. 5 days ago I got it in my left big toe joint and I passed out from the pain and I was hospitalised. Doctors ran blood work and everything is optimal. My toe is deformed, purple, hot and “wind pain”
I had my first gout attack at age 23, 42 years ago. All the diet changes made NO measurable difference in the duration or the severity of the attacks which plagued me for six years. 100 mg of allopurinol at a cost of $3.00 per month has led to NO gout attacks since 1991. There is NO mention of the impact of genetics. My grandparents, great uncles and uncles on both sides of my family suffered from gout.

I was so impressed I had a few more and lost weight, an added bonus. So I recommend get a colonic you will move the acid out quickly. ( and it moves parasites out as well, an added bonus! You will feel better.)
Lmfaro!!! Uric acid is in your urine not your stool so a colonic will have zero effect on gout. Lol a colonic also removes stool from just the colon. Lol by time food reaches there over 95% is absorbed bwahaha at you you clown
My maturnal Grandfather thought he had gout for years and tried all sorts of treatments to little avail. My mother then took him to get his foot X-rayed and it turns out he did not have gout but instead had Erosional Arthritis and was now missing most of a bone or two in his foot that was the cause of his pain.
This is excellent information. This is the first time that anyone, at the doctor's office or on YT, that has suggested that cataracts and gout flare-ups are connected. Good knowledge.
My gout does not trigger with most of what you say it does. I say most as I do not eat what is on your list, or drink alcohol. What triggers my gout is Tomatoes, to less extent Peas, cucumber. I can eat red meat in large amounts and eat a lot of shrimp with no gout reactions. With the corruption in the dietary aspect with corporations, New Age, and now WEF, I do take the whole anti meat as pure propaganda. Lets take the Inuit people, ate nothing by Red meat, and fish back in the day. No flus, no colds, Plus no heart attacks or gout UNTIL they started eating vegetables.
They are creating meat in laboratories. The report I saw claimed we will not know the difference in texture and taste. I healed of stage 4 cancer and I ate only organic food. Stay pure my friends, keep your body organic!
I have lived in Eskimo [Inuit] villages. I observe that all the health problems start when they start consuming sugar. You wouldn't believe how many cans of pop per day Eskimo kids can drink.
I have gout when I was 26 both feet haha.too much soda drinks and margarine and mayonnaise, also always eating bread and junk foods. you can still eat those foods that causes gout. Just small portion and always drink water.
Stinging nettle tea has been the best gout pain reliever for me. Haven't tried celery seed extract/celery juice, but I have tried ACV, baking soda, Epsom salts, devil's claw & ibuprofen.
Take 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon Potassium Citrate powder in water once to twice per day and your gout will go away. It is an excellent supplement. Make sure you use the Citrate form. I buy Now brand and use it as a supplement on my ketogenic diet. Most people struggle to reach the 4000 - 4700 mg daily amount of potassium needed on a keto diet from just food. The citrate form is alkalizing and helps to neutralize uric acid crystals. It holds uric acid in solution (prevents it from crystalizing) giving your kidneys time to excrete it.
Has anyone had a flare up in there neck? The past 20 years I've had a half a dozen painful flare ups. A few in the big toe. Having a bunion on that toe at the same time really sucked. A couple in my ankle. Then a few years back I had pain in my neck so bad I didn't sleep for a couple nights and ended up going to the ER. The doctor that seen me said you can't get gout in your neck. BS. If you have ever had that pain in your toe and you flare up in another joint...you know what it is. What helps me is cherrys and H2O. Fresh if they are in season, Juice or dried. A handful a day help with all the other aches also that we feel getting older. Yep cherries and water.
Its not as simple as not eating food containing Purin's, the issue is with sugar, I went the other way, against traditional doctors advice, I went keto, dropped 30lbs, put on body muscle and reversed my damaged toe joint..When we get older we need more protein.
@@Tanko3691 You dropped 30 pounds because you stopped eating junk food not because you ate only meat. My gosh...only meat will raise your lipid levels NOT GOOD

Dr Kim I despair! I’ve been having great results with Intermittent Fasting these last six months, I eat mostly clean organic foods, no sugar, no junk, alcohol, never red meat, and gave up all gluten too…Why have I got another Gout attack in my foot these last two days? Can’t weight bear at all! This is the first time I’ve only had it in the one foot though so I guess it might be progress of some sort? I drink tons of water as I’m always thirsty! Just had a period in hospital with what felt like excruciating kidney stones again but it was thought to be a Pulmonary Embolism. Had gas and air for the pain, and a few Co Codamol. CRP went from 7 to 264 & Urate was 455..Can’t walk or drive to get back to the hospital for bloods to check anything further…😔 These last two weeks in and out of there I lost 7lbs in a week due to the pain of everything but maybe that has brought on the Gout do you think? Can’t account for it otherwise! Thank you
When i went thru menopause,i developed gout,geez..im tired of eating chicken & turkey! I luv hamburgers& tacos with beef! I cant give up organ meat & seafood & mushrooms! All the stuff i enjoy eating is bad for gout! I dont drink alcahol, but will be willing to give up soda, maybe now & then with a burger combo.

@@marielle3929 all plants have a wish to live, since they can not move, they use chemical warfare to defend themselves. That means that all plants are at least a little bit toxic. People are not able to deal with these toxins, because we lack an internal organ that is designed to break down plants and plantmatter. Ours is designed to break down meat and fat, which we do very well. A lot of different diseases would dissappear of we stopped eating plants, gout ,diabetes and kidneystones are good examples.
This guy really knows his stuff
In my experience - ketogenic lifestyle is the way. Lost my gout and overweight and pain in my knee. This is lowering my uric acid level.
Hello what ketogenic does mean?
@@kenzoenzo5586that's what Google is for.
Mainly focusing on good fats so your body can switch off of carbs as a main source of fuel.

I’m wondering if that is causing the over production of uric acid.

go on like this then.what you exactly eat at carnivore how many times a day and portion size pls?no greens at all lettuce salad etc?
Absolutely no fruits or vegetables. Start with beef, salt, water for about 3 months. Take very fatty cuts. Like very fatty ones. Your meat to fat ratio should be 1 to 1. Supplement with butter when there's not enough fat. After 3 months, introduce slowly, other meats, starting with ruminant meats. Keep eating fat.

Greetings Sir, thank you for the detailed explanation. My mother is suffering from this terrible disease. I have a few questions about your impressive journey. I’d like to exchange email if you are willing to answer a few questions. Thank you very much.
1/2 a teaspoon or 1/2 a glass?
Thank you i am going to look for that kind of seeds
Thanx alot very informative experience.fenugreek is very common and easily available in pakistan.lots of people will get benefit of this sharing.thanx again.God bless you

I have had gout for years and as long as I stay hydrated and eat proportionately it don't matter what I eat or drink I do not get flare-ups as long as I'm hydrated properly
As long as your renal function can keep up.
@@tdgdbs1 thanks for your respectable comment and I also stay away from high fructose corn syrup and sugar as much as possible which is it almost every ingredient these days
Bingo.
I have worked out that 4 litres of water every day prevents it.
Often I get distracted and boom. I get reminded with the pain that only you know
Also alcohol relaxing the kidneys makes you pee yourself dehydrated
My gout attacks happen when my joints are stressed or injured after hiking. And I used to hike almost everyday. Then I stopped hiking and no more gout attacks
Might have been flared up from dehydration
Interesting I got gout when I was training for 3 months for a hike. Lots of walking and walking with 30lbs weight. Screwed me up because I didn't get to go on the hike I was training for😢
This is the best gout informational video that I’ve came across. 90% of men of 40 have it. Wow I must have been doing everything wrong. I’ll be 38 this year and I’ve suffered with gout since I was 12 but I never knew what it was back then. I’ve went to the hospital a few times where some doctors didn’t even know what gout was. My left knee is currently having a gout flair for the first time, but it’s slowly getting better. I do not wish gout on anyone. Thank you so much for the information
Doc,when do we need to alkalize our body,or what's the time frame for example i drink water w/ sodium bicarbonate today, when will be the next one?
Thank you so much Dr. Kim! I had a flare up for the first time this past March. I was getting contradictory advice since so your video made it all make sense. I feel my #1 problem is not drinking enough water. I am changing this today! Thanks again!
yeah the pills and all that dont do crap. ive been paying attention and when i dont drink enough water i can feel it starting to creep in. when that happens i will try to drink a bottle of water or two before bedtime and usually wake up feeling fine again.
@@DieselRamcharger Same here... had gout 3 times in 2 years... always after working hard in the heat with little water but lots of beer. Its all about my water intake.
He isnt a doctor and is giving out incorrect advice.
Some things that I have to avoid most are being dehydrated, alcohol, and too much sugar.
What is your level at?
It might be pseudo gout which is calcium related, you’ll need a biopsy on a flared up joint to determine
Check out The Gout Killer! Bert Middleton knows exactly what causes it!
Since gout I drink half gallon or 2 litres of water daily
Hey, Doc, you spelled -pees- peas wrong. ; )
I've tried ice packs, no good!
Brilliant! Thank you Dr. Kim America's Holistic Foot Doctor for sharing this very informative video on Gout Attacks! Simple, clear explanation for the layman to understand & follow your instructions. Thank you again Dr. Kim. Greetings from Madang, Papua New Guinea!
I’m planning to go doctor this week , I have too much pain and big gout in my toe left foot, after this video , and reading lots of comments I decide to take your advice and try it. Thank you so much. You are the best
Best gout explanation I've heard to date. Thank you ! :)
Thanks Doc for your very informative platform. From the visual illustrations to the easy to follow information plus home remedy..
Agree 100%, same experience.
I stopped taking the supplement after a while but kept a couple of bottles in the cupboard just in case, they are still there.
exactly - do the opposite of what the idiot in the video says and you will be fine.
Is apple cider vinegar bad for gout
How is wind pain called? I don't find anything under tong pong.
Go on the all meat (carnivore) diet, at least look into it
Foods that increase uric acid ate asparagus, cauliflower, herring are a few of the worst. Fix by taking extra Vit C, tons of water, cherry cranberry juice, any red or dark berries. I buy dried fruit in a bag , includes cranberry, cherry, blueberries. Vit C is a big part. As is water.
Get some potassium citrate powder. Take a teaspoon in water everyday. Works almost immediately to stop gout. Easy and inexpensive
How are you feeling? Similar condition, cut off sugar and improved tremendously, twisted ankle and had a flare up, been trying the baking soda half teaspoon one a night and experienced tremendous relief.
@@harrykanhura4178 Glad you're feeling better. I am better, have not had a gout flare in a while. Still experiencing issues with my spine but it's not as bad as before.
Great presentation!
I appreciate you Doc!❤
Thanks for your advice Doc about uric acid cause for the past few months my big toe and ankle hurts, I feel it is uric acid from watching videos, I will change my diet to get the results i so desired
Used Baking Soda and Wim Hoff Breathing , and got rid of gout attack within a day. Alkalizing the body fast.
I increased my water intake to 6 liters day and it gave me relief.
had gout 3 times in 2 years... always after working hard in the heat with little water but lots of beer. Its all about my water intake.
same here, also beer has a high purine content and alcohol generally dehydrates the body and also components of beer such as yeast slow down the breakdown of uric acid in the body. nevertheless, i always take it as a warning when i get a gout attack. then i have always not lived and eaten healthily
This was the best well explained video I have watched !! Thank you
Believe it or not, in my case, it was fish oil that caused flareups
Same here, bought krill oil had a massive flare up.
Very insightful information Dr.
Stop eating anything that breaks down to sugar and your problems will go away i promise
Like you, I got gout at an early age of 25. What works for me is Celery Root extract. I've been taking this daily for the past 2 years and I never had a flare up ever since. I'm 35 now.
For me, gout was caused by inflammation as a result of diet. When I do not eat carbs/sugar, I do not get inflammation. Try carnivore diet.
Give up the alcohol
best video so far I watched on youtube related to Gout, Thank you Dr. Kim
Yep carnivore diet worked for me and helped weightloss, energy levels, skin health, blood pressure and no more gout.
Dr. Kim, You are amazing!!!!!!!! My best friend just called me and she is having a gout flare.
My gout went away when i went on a keto/low carb diet. Its been about 2 years since I've had a flare-up
If I'm understanding you correctly because I have gout and my right foot the ball of my toe my big toe now if I drink beer which I like beer I noticed that I get the pain from gout you telling me if I drink a lot of water after drinking beer I will not have this problem...?
True hubby had it, his father had it. Puri Cos helped.
I definitely inherited from my mother's father.
High insulin levels, so sugar is a huge factor then surely?
Thank you for sharing this valuable information.
Been carnivore forever (after training and doing more of a athlete diet and still do ) have no issues. Its inflammation. Eat non inflammatory foods.
Or eat a non inflammatory diet. There are several, keto, mediterranean, and the zone. I’m sure there’s others.
My parents have been vegans for more than 20 years and they have gout... Cannot be decepted notion that eating steaks has caused my gout flares.
Eating steaks will not give you gout. Throwing vegetables on top of that meat, will.
@@mirikira8632why is that?
@@marielle3929 because vegetables are the issue. You can't eat enough meat to provoke gout. It's just impossible.
Beg to differ 4oz - 6oz steak will trigger gout in me…..lmao
(use ro eat 18oz steaks every 2 wks. and one day BAM,,,that changed everything….lol)
Just lower your carb intake and drink lots water to flush out the uric acid. Those are 2 very healthy changes to make anyways
Years ago when I had gout, very painful, I went and had a colonic and walked out pain free!!! Makes sense to clean your colon so all the waste can move out of your body properly. I was so impressed I had a few more and lost weight, an added bonus. So I recommend get a colonic you will move the acid out quickly. ( and it moves parasites out as well, an added bonus! You will feel better.)
Thank you
Lmfaro!!! Uric acid is in your urine not your stool so a colonic will have zero effect on gout. Lol a colonic also removes stool from just the colon. Lol by time food reaches there over 95% is absorbed bwahaha at you you clown
What is a colonic?
Colonics overtime will kill you. Quick fix is temporary. Drink lots of water. What do they use for colonic. WATER
What is colonic plssss i have gout now in my left feet😭😭and in so painful
You can stop the high insulin by stopping the consumption of sugar/carbs, then there is no gout
What’s the best way to get your acid out of my body I know water but what other teas are healthy drinks that are good to lower that out of my kidneys?
Thanks for your expertise and knowledge
My maturnal Grandfather thought he had gout for years and tried all sorts of treatments to little avail. My mother then took him to get his foot X-rayed and it turns out he did not have gout but instead had Erosional Arthritis and was now missing most of a bone or two in his foot that was the cause of his pain.
Probably had really poor ankle flexibility too, I am guessing
Did his toe become big
I never heard of such😮I just looked it up😢It’s terrible. I don’t even know your father, but feel sorry for him and your family.
This gout caused me my job had 22yrs in the company Sept 28 2022 my fmla had exhausted and they let me go smh
So sorry to hear that. Pain on top of pain.
This is excellent information. This is the first time that anyone, at the doctor's office or on YT, that has suggested that cataracts and gout flare-ups are connected. Good knowledge.
Dehydration seems to be the triggerfot mine. I live in a hot climate, if I neglect my hydration, I get an attack.
I agree. Let the billionaires eat bugs, I eat red meat.
Your may not have gout but pseudogout a different chemical composition that compares to gout, check the literature.
I have gout when I was 26 both feet haha.too much soda drinks and margarine and mayonnaise, also always eating bread and junk foods.
you can still eat those foods that causes gout.
Just small portion and always drink water.
That was great, a very thorough explanation, thank you very much
dry eye, nose, throat, pain, etc . COULD BE Sjogrens also?
And?
Cherries have a aspirin like compound.
Your Dr is an idiot. Back and neck, although not real common, are absolutely areas affected by gout.
@@someoneelse242 But DO NOT take aspirin. It blocks uric acid excretion by the kidneys.
Check your urine pH, and if it acidic then bring it up to balance. See if that helps, alkalinity has help me with relief.
Yes, I did, it didn't go away for 10 days, I had an operation because I had a hernia, but it turned out to be gout.😢😢
I have gout for years. This how it works for me: No Seafood, No Meat (Chicken is OK), No Alcohol, No soft drinks. I eat lots of fruits & vegetables.

@@Goldenhawk583why does plant cause that
@@marielle3929 all plants have a wish to live, since they can not move, they use chemical warfare to defend themselves.
