This is definitely not for beginners! The breathing, which is so key in yoga, is not emphasized as when to inhale and exhale, plus it moves too quickly. But it would be great for one who is already intermediate or advanced beginner:) She is definitely fit and strong!
Great videos Tara! I watch them when I need my quick and intense yoga fix. To those who like it a bit more slow and relaxed, check out Yoga with Adriene, also a great and charismatic instructor. Off topic, does anyone know what the name of the song that plays in the background of the Fabletics ad? Love that commercial!
Can please upload more yoga video full body I love doing I work on my blances please make more yoga class video I wanna start eating healthy foods having a healthier body healthier life
Very fast. Still, Tara speaks clearly ond on point. It helps me to prewatch. Also I've been very patient with myself. I don't try to keep up - I take time to improve my breathing, form and frame of mind. I'm improving.
hi, I started today in the morning with this routine, I did it 4 times trying to imitate the movements correctly, unfortunately now at night my lower back is in mild pain :( ... any suggestion? I guess the move that caused me pain is between 0:47 and 1:02 when the torso moves backward, I am 40 years old, 5'8'', 172 pounds, thanks for any help in advance. This video and the whole collection is priceless!
I really really want to start yoga because I feel it would do so much good to me as I am so not flexible. But it's crazy how uncomfortable it feels to me, is that normal ? even doing this video (which is like the first video of the beginner playlist) i feel like a big elephant, every part of my body hurts and I don't know why or how, it makes me really really angry !! Sometimes I feel sooo angry that I want to cry of anger !! is that normal ? It's weird because I am a quite calm and peaceful person usually but stretching makes me feel awful... Can I ever pass this point ? Someone please give me advice, I would be so thankful
I totally know where you are, I've been there. I used to be a real couch potato, almost no muscles at all, no condition. And when I tried working out (like twice a year, lol) I got really really angry as soon as I hit my limits, I felt literally so much rage. And I'm a very patient and calm person as well. So, from my own experience I promise you that you will get past this. You have to accept that your fitness limits are low right now and that's okay to hit them. It's okay to hit your limit and feel exhausted and feeling how difficult is gets at your limit. I mean, you can't expect from yourself to already keep up with the yoga teacher because as you said yourself, you're not flexible. Find your own speed for the workout, if this one is too quick, maybe you need another or you remember what the yoga teacher is doing and try it without your video in your own pace. Try to enjoy the point when you hit your limit and go slowly there. Remember that you can only get better when you go a little over your limit, but don't push yourself too hard. I promise, it will get easier. :)
Don't be disheartened! I've been practicing yoga for 10 years, and am a flexible dancer - this was even very fast and uncomfortable for me! Have no idea why this would be in a beginners playlist. I feel that this video is maybe showing everyone what to do so they can go and practice at their own speed. I'd suggest 'Yoga with Adriene' if you want something a bit nicer. I love the morning gentle and the morning energise sequences. So good.
Taiiva Thank you for your answer !! I am actually in a pretty good physical condition as I am very active and enjoy doing sports a lot !! it's only stretching that makes me feel this way, even if I still do it every time I workout because I know i t's necessary ^^
moving quickly likes this helps warm up the muscles. this isn't a yoga class, it is using yoga to warm up the body. it is pretty similar to an ashtanga yoga class, where you sweat like a pig and need a towel to wipe it up. different speeds for different goals......

She has a Breathing Video directly after the warm up on her playlist. If you have trouble with breathing techniques you should check there.
