I love my sparrows picks - and being in Toronto; they arrive fast :)
I was really hoping that the glow-in-the-dark sleeve in the back was also a plastic shim; that would've been awesome.
Phosphorescent material would be shitty as hell for shims....
And if u got it thin enough, it wouldn't produce light/be durable.
You can always just stick a plastic shim in there yourself.
Just spray paint it with glow in the dark paint.

Just want to say thanks for all the videos Bill. As somebody new to the sport I love the mixture of howtos, reviews and challenge locks. Plus you keep it fun!
Regarding all the cheaters... should we be concerned that so many dishonest people are interested in lock picking?
how many criminals know how to pick lock i dont think theres many lock picking is therapeutic i find and never used it for the wrong reason i have neighbours knocking my door every time they have locked them self out i never charge coz i cant stand what lock smiths charge for a call out
Well.... Lock picking is only useful to criminals and people who lock themselves out(and the dickskins who take advantage of them).
EDIT: AND those helpful hobby pickers who will help a friend/neighbor back into their house/car(and not charge them near half-a-week's pay).
diggin pooch and yes, criminals do know how to pick locks.
Most of them tend to specialize in bypassing locks, or learning how to brute force attack locks quickly(i.e. Snapping a Euro cylinder).
If your life is stealing other people's shit, you're probably gonna do your homework on how to steal shit.
@@notpulverman9660 thinking about it I would think more along the lines of why would the majority of them take time and who knows the amount of time per person and situation to try to puck locks when break a windown or kick a door in or cut a lock off and most people leave doors unlocked

+Ch3mG33k Forcing people to register an account/email with a captcha and then sending the email used a conformation link about a day later would make it harder to just spam emails. Another method could be some thing like linking the youtube account of the applicant to an email some how and require people to both submit an entry on the site and make a comment here.

I have never seen the secret word when watching for the first time, i am too busy concentrating on the review to notice it... Any chance you could alert the viewer to its existence verbally when it comes up?
I also think that the email will be abused... I would suggest that you collect the postal address as well to reduce further the number of extra entries that a person can reasonably make before cheating becomes not worth the effort.
You could have an account system I am sure so that regular users don't have to add their details each time...

watched many of your videos, have tried a few of my own locks with some success. Like i got one to open after a long time of trying to feel pins and get movement. I had a mas--r lock on my tool box - but the keys were long gone - a five year old has busy fingers. Got that one open easy using an artfully bent paperclip - Raking it as you say, it worked. Replaced it with an American, a little better quality. My workbench drawer at work - left the key at home. Cut a tie wrap with wirecutters to simulate the key cuts. Made 3, 3rd one worked. Very crappy lock only 4 pins. So far, all just dumb luck. I only know that by watching you go at hard to open locks. it's trying to solve a puzzle, i've got lots to learn.

This is an amazing kit. Pure rapid access intent. It's not one of the designs specifically for gloves, but I'll bet those handles will work just fine anyway. Magnificent.
