This exact model reference (silver-white dial and all) is my favorite RO of all time! One of my grails.
It amazes me that after all these years and countless Royal Oaks... you still allocate the time and effort to review them lol
He's not reviewing them, he's trying to sell them
@@watch_beginer2056 maybe you aren't aware of what a review is, but its when a product is displayed and someone goes through all the detailed objective facts about it.
Thanks. I'll try and remember that..
@@DMBVR4 Dude, you don't have a commericial bone in your body, do you?
how polished/refinished is that bezel?
Cool watch.
Did Genta design the case to be monobloc? Or did AP just execute it that way originally?
Genta says he was inspired by the Omega and Zenith monoblocs of the 60s
What is the purpose of wearing only one glove?
HUBLOW IS KING!!! 👑👑👑👑👑
interesting...
Why do I get the sense Tim suffered a lightsaber accident…?
no seconds hand, I can get over that. No quick date change, that's a deal breaker. For someone who has multiple watches, or needs to travel, having to move the time forward multiple days is a pain in the ass
get the 15300 or 15450 if you want quick date change RO.
This is the last great Royal Oak. All sequential iterations have far less hand finishing and build quality. Really sad when you consider AP is considered part of the holy trinity of watch makers.
forget the piano dial patek
Beautiful, but not worth 90K.
The crown is hideous on the RO. Poor design on all levels.
To me the AP shaped clasp interior is the hideous part
to me it's a utilitarian fail, and yeah does not look good to boot. how are you supposed to get purchase on some octagony shaped thing?
@@steveneumeyer681 I hear you but to me it would seem the crown would be easy to grip...honestly I've only seen Royal Oaks in the wild...never handled one
@@BenTramer disagree. that clasp is much prettier than the current generic clasp used.
