The Hope, Surrey - pubs.com

Current Sutton Camra Pub of the Year, the Hope is an unassuming community pub with a big heart. Five cask ales on offer, including a mild and a strong bitter, all kept in excellent condition. Regulars enjoy a game of darts or bar billiards (donated by the local scouts) or simply a relaxing chat with fellow drinkers.

Easy; Carshalton has a Surrey postal address but is also (since 1965) part of Greater London. You'll find (if you do your homework!) that the same applies to over half of the area of modern London.
