1 and a half cups of red lentils (soaked for about 15 mins)
    celery (approx 2 stalks)
    carrots (approx 2 carrots)
    1 onion
    2 garlic cloves
    1 tsp turmeric powder
    1 tsp cumin
    4 cups of veggie broth
2 cups water (add more or less depending on desired consistency)
    Juice of 1 lemon
    Handful of fresh parsley
To taste, 1 tsp veggie broth powder (optional), himalayan sea salt + fresh black pepper
    1. Fry chopped onions for a few minutes
    2. Add in celery, carrots, garlic, turmeric, cumin, garlic
    3. Stir in lentils, veggie broth, water (let it all simmer for about 20/30 mins)
    4. Keep stiring to avoid lentils sticking to base of pan
    5. Squeeze in lemon juice, salt, pepper
    6. Blend if desired (link to blender above)
    7. Serve with fresh parsley and ENJOY! :)
