By far my favorite guitarist. I think he is one of the greats along with Satriani, Via, Petrucci, etc. But he separates himself from even that crowd with the unbelievable beauty and melodic virtuosity. Thank you Andy! And thank you for posting.
I tend to agree, he's my favorite as well, but tbh Satriani has a bunch of tunes with incredible melodies, so I encourage you to dig into his discography and you'll see he's not just a shredder :)
Exactly. Vai and Satch are technically brilliant, but Vai is Pompous/overblown and Satch is just too much (for me) shred. Andy provides nuance and character and soul to each song. Much like Eric Johnson. Best time to be a guitarist. We lived in the era of the Great Players of 6 String guitar.
Andy is so picky about hitting the note with the right intention and intensity. All those nuances take a lot of attention, he is not just shredding like so many shredders. He is a beast.
1) 00:01:12 - Ave Maria (F. Schubert) 2) 00:04:11 - Super ‘70s 3) 00:09:11 - Pink Champagne Sparkle 4) 00:14:28 - Beautiful, Strange 5) 00:19:38 - Electric Gipsy 6) 00:26:48 - Deliver Us 7) 00:31:52 - Strawberry Fields Forever (The Beatles) 8) 00:38:00 - The Next Voice You Hear 9) 00:45:15 - Groove Or Die 10) 00:49:19 - Here Lies The Heart (feat. Alessandro) 11) 00:51:36 - Take Me With You 12) 00:59:23 - Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen) 13) 01:06:10 - Cry For You 14) 01:19:40 - Little Wing (Jimi Hendrix)
Thanks for posting this. Andy is such a brilliant beautiful musician - nobody out there to touch that man for putting his heart & soul into every single note / phrase or melody. Fantastic 🙏👏👏👏
I have seen Andy in Hong Kong few years back. He is one of the best live musician out there. His guitar cries and loughs at the same time. Just a legend. Andy keep on, make people Travel multidimensionally with your music.
Got to hang and play with Andy years ago at one of the Paul Gilbert Great Guitar Escapes in upstate New York for an entire weekend. We were the only two guys there that had Barry Manilow shirts. Haha. One of the most genuine people you’ll ever meet and what an incredible player. Mimi Fox was there (a Jazz goddess) and her and Andy were on stage and she says she doesn’t really know any “rock” tunes … he says “so let’s do some jazz.” She calls out Donna Lee …. And he proceeds to nail the entire head , perfectly. It was one of those moments where you realize just how much of a monstrously well rounded player he really is.
Andy is a special kind of talent, no doubt. But I can only imagine how cool you felt with your dorky little Barry Manilow shirt on. 😂 Let me guess… it was probably three sizes too small too. SMH
Andy has a huge ❤. When he brought that young boy up on stage. What a beautiful song and a great moment. So humble. So much talent. Love this. Thank you for posting. Bohemian Rapsody was ridiculously amazing...Holy Shit!! Blown away.
There’s guitarists every guitarist should take influence from and Andy is one of them. Humble, dedicated, passionate and genuine! He’s not trying to be a god he just plays from the heart and a good understanding of things! Legend.
Andy is the all time , ever was before and will always be the "GOAT" . This man can play anything anyone has ever played but to a degree that is currently unmatchable.
Coming from a blues background, to me, Andy is like the "Robben Ford" of rock music. You get a feeling that he means every note, and his melodies and songwriting are top notch.
Whoa !...the boy is really going at the 3rd into the 4th onward ! When Andy starts singing that song shows that he is a true Rockstar and becomes otherworldly.... superb Bravo
Pure feeling i would love to see Andy in Prague or somewhere closer to Czech Republic. True guitar master and his playing is way more than words can ever express.
Have Andy Timons seen the videos of Brazilian guitarist Ozielzinho? Ozielzinho plays some Andy Timons songs with incredible perfection and felling. I wanted to see Andy's reaction to Oziel's videos.
His performance as great as always. Anyone knows wheather the 23:15 - 24:00 of the Electric Gypsy Andy plays frequently this years? Didn't hear this before.
First, great blues jam, it’s a jam not a competition. Eric is THE master here and should be respected as such. Andy and the other guy are apprentices I would say. As far as Eric’s tone, that is his tone. The problem here is that the sound guy is not doing his job(Eric needs to be louder or not with others). Eric created that tone. If you are follower he has a violin sound that has been well documented and appreciated. It does not go well with more than one guitar or more. This Andy dude is great player but I’m sure he will defer to Eric and Jimmy Hendrix, EVH and the like. Just my opinion
from this video is seems like the audience is fairly lame! What this and Andy only show or was he the warm up? or part of a festival? I hear so many people rudely talking in the background I mean why would you go to an Andy Timmons all instrumental concert and freaking talk during it? That said. Andy's playing was awesome.

Yes totally !!

I love the moment when the drummer looks at the guitarist waiting for him to know the right moment for the break! 😊
omg....
Gentleman's guitar😇
Oh man, I must have got some fluff in my eyes when Andy played for that little guy.
What is that opening song called? It's so great, what a way to start your show!!!
Ave Maria.
Bohemian Rhapsody is such a masterpiece...
Tracklist, please🙏🏻

You are a great artist Andy so let your axe do the talking. As Frank Zappa would say,"Shut up & play yer guitar!"
Terrible!!!!
😂clowny
I love Andy and his music and the sound was awesome but the camera work was terrible 😡. Almost unwatchable and got a little sea sick tbh…
