Mukuro's crush on Makoto, on the other hand, has been made explicitly canon ever since the IF writer, Ryogo Narita, observed in a discussion with the creators that she looks directly into the camera when Makoto is not present, implying she is starring directly at him when he is taking the class photos.

Every time I replay THH or watch the anime, I realize more of Mukuro's mannerisms and how she's playing the role of her sister. A big part of me wishes she was revealed along with Junko. 😭

I mean, she had a lot of leeway with the 'eccentric model' type, an ultimate no less. I think it's fair to say that all ultimates are a little crazy, so she was just par for the course.
There were two things that made me think the body we were looking at was Junko during chapter 5. Those nails stuck out like a sore thumb. Junko was the only character who wore nails like that and Kirigiri always wore gloves and frankly they don’t appear to be her style even if she wasn’t. The second thing that stuck out was how many wounds she had. Junko got punctured to death I mean cmon anyone who has a perception rating of 5/10 could figure this out. The only thing that caught me off guard was that she wasn’t the real Junko. That I did not expect. This game is a masterpiece.
I saw the nails, but I didn't think it was Junko until I got to the final trial, I just didn't really care about Junko when she was alive to remember anything about her, her talent and general appearance was all I remembered. Plus she died RIGHT at the beginning, and a lot of things happened after that, makes remembering even harder, also that whole "multiple wounds" thing was never given any attention and every other time in the game we had "multiple wounds" they were basically meaningless, to the victim's death anyway, Sayaka's broken wrist and Sakura's 2 hits to the head immediately come to mind.
I think the fact that they raised the argument that the body could be Kirigiri's pretty stupid. You could clearly see the nails out and Kyoko always wears gloves
I know it wasn't real Junko from the start because of her face and the way She freak out and starts Talking about photoshop like tries to hide the fact she's not Junko but some person Who Looks kinda like her witch make me think it was her super fan or person she find in internet that Looks like her so she told them to work for her when she's bussy. And i thout the mystermind was Kyoko like i don't know She Just seem kinda weird to me from the game start like quiet sneacky and smart so i thout it was her XDDD. TvT :")
That last discussion with Junko makes me think the original ending was she would survive by rebelling against the mastermind to be with Makoto but the developers decided against it at the last minute.

Half a year late but if you haven’t read Danganronpa IF it’s a what if story written by the game writer where Makoto gets an item from the item machine that Zaps him and causes him to get his memories back long story short it was a story that focused a lot on Mukuro and her relationship between Her Junko and it also reveals a crush she had on Makoto (even if she didn’t recognize it)
Spoilers I really love how Mukuro portrays Junko as a diva but she isn't obnoxious like a typical diva, she's actually friendly and chill. She has a goofy smile, but it's adorable and makes you like her more. It makes me incredibly curious what Junko would be like if she really was this instead of the Junko we all know and love. Not that I am complaining, I still love Junko the way she is
I feel like when she's talking about herself in the 3rd freetime event she's not really lying, she's of course not telling you specifics she doesn't know about modeling but she's telling you how she feels about her career in general

Dang, after watching it’s crazy knowing that Mukuro probably started to change her mind or have doubts about their plans by the third free time. It’s just so crazy to think about Mukuro obviously being manipulated into doing so many things by her own twin, and then the moment she started to not want to participate in the game and kill or watch the people who she called friends be killed, even in the name of “despair” which she thought is what she craved most, but it was just what junko told her she wanted. And the moment she realized to late that she doubted she could handle what was happening next, and the last thing she did which was something she was told to do, she is murdered. Mukuro was a horrible person, but every action she did was misguided by her own twin. She was a victim just like the others to the killing game she helped make and the real junko. Wether or not junko ever liked Mukuro, and actually killed Mukuro to make Mukuro feel despair as a sort of merciful act of kindness, or just did it for her own despair, or just for the fun of it, Mukuro didn’t want to die. Not like that.
Look, I don't like Junko. I don't like Mukuro either? But this girl. The girl Mukuro pretended to be? She's awesome. I love her. Wish she was actually her own character and not an inaccurate imitation.
