Ty K Kyoko does still have emotions; she's just extremely good at hiding them. What emotion you see on her face is probably meant to be a suppressed version of her actual feelings. She's probably terrified, but she only seems a little scared. When she does get to the point of accepting it, she's most likely forcing herself to be calmer than she really is and just accept the fact that she's going to die.
Well, they're pretty much still trapped in the school for the rest of their lives, where else are they going to raise those kids who also will probably never see the world outside Hope's Peak.
I know this thread is a year old but I feel obligated to inform everyone here that the only reason Alter Ego doesn't save Kirigiri is because this isn't an alternate timeline or something like that. If you play the game and get this ending you'd find that the sequence ends with the final line in this video, which is, "No! This isn't right!" Followed by the same choice to either expose Kirigiri, let her go, or run away. The first option now having a checkmark by it indicating that you've done so and it led to nowhere. This is because that ending is nothing but Makoto's imagination. Why would he imagine that Kyoko gets saved by Alter Ego if he thought it was deleted? It would make zero sense if Alter Ego saved Kirigiri in Makoto's little nightmare sequence.

I can see why, given what data he had available about Kyoko and Makoto, he could build profiles that would lead him to believe Makoto was very unlikely to be the killer and Kyoko could have been. Kind of a stretch, but it's all I've got.
Because Kyoko is the most troublesome student for her because of her talent, you know that she always sneak around the forbidden areas and found out something that no students should know. It's just the matter of time until she found out everything if Junko doesn't do anyrhing.

Simple really Alter Ego was motivated and moved tenfold by Makoto's incredible selflessness, when he doesn't speak out against Kyoto, which in turn gives Alter ego a boast of morale aka Hope. But when Naegi just sells her down the river so to speak, Alter ego no longer thinks they can be saved or even deserve to be saved thus alter ego does not use the last of their strength to save Kyoto to be fair you have to be a fricken idiot to get this bad ending by accident its so painfully obvious not to blab in the first place.

The one thing I don't get about this bad ending is: why does Toko die? Makoto says that after Kyoko's execution nobody else got murdered, and she didn't have any terminal illness. Is it meant to imply that she committed suicide or died on accident? It's just weird.

If you watched the good ending, when junko explains that they lost 2 years of memories and stuff they are actually 18 years old but they think they are 16 so in the last pic they were probably 20 or more, so they arent kids anymore. And by the time they are 20 Yasuhiro would be 23 or 24 so he is not that old too. Hope that makes sense, im bad at explaining

So I was bored, and I went on TvTropes... I read up on all characters and one of the things they mentioned was Monokuma was giving a lesson to Kirigiri on "Sex Ed" during her execution. Sure enough, they where correct.
Another thing I noticed was that Monokuma was also giving her a lesson on the Guillotine, the funny thing is, in Danganronpa: Distrust Kirigiri was the first victim and her murderer was Junko. Guess how Junko got executed!? Guillotine.
Sex Ed? Maybe that's why her face changed as the got deeper into the converstion Red Then Purple Then Blue... Or it could be the huge smashy thing, that too
I mean - it's gonna be a bad ending soon enough cause all three of those kids are boys. Which means Hina remains the only female. Which means if they want to continue living - they have to screw their own mother to have offspring. All three of them.

Also Toko is dead in this ending - at least that's what's confirmed by the directors - they didn't say how but did say she was dead. Also there's no telling Byakuya, Makoto, and Yasuhiro can even have female children. It isn't just a fifty/fifty integer on whether a child can turn out a gender - most of the time a male will only have the excess chromosomes to produce either/or. Sure cases of having chromosomes to produce both genders are common - but it's not common enough to suppose all three select remaining males can reproduce and impregnate Hina was both girls and boys. Why do you think the one historical king executed so many women - he wanted a son, but no matter who he screwed he got a girl - the problem wasn't the women, it was him.

I would say it is catered for Kyoko. The idea is that the sound of the crushing machine getting closer it will break her usually controlled and calm composure. From a detective standpoint, the noise allows her to predict her death but she can do nothing to prevent it (something which ties back to the DR Kirigiri novels and DR Zero where, without outright spoiling anything, it’s mentioned Kyoko’s detective abilities are such that she has the potential to prevent deaths. This also links to her ability to hear death’s footsteps). Also at this point in the game as far as Junko is concerned nobody, including Kyoko herself, knows Kyoko’s ultimate ability so having a more obviously detective-themed death wouldn’t make as much sense.

That's what I was thinking! All of the kids look EXACTLY like their fathers! Like Asahina doesn't even get to pass down her genes whatsoever, not even after all that work! So unfair! I swear, Japan has this dumb paranoia thing where they feel they have to have the children look exactly like the father, because then OTHERWISE the child can't POSSIBLY be theirs! This is an issue that happens a LOT in the Rune Factory games.

I think this is the best execution You just sit there whilst being dragged on a conveyor belt looking away from the crusher machine, as you get closer, the weight of each crush gets more intense, and you know it'll happen, you just dunno WHEN it'll happen That absolute fear of knowing yet not knowing really shows on her face as they gets closer and closer
the whole playthrough, i simped for kyoko the whole game was about seeking the truth so i picked the option that led to the bad ending it took everything in me to do it, and i did it So, can you imagine the guilt i felt throughout the rest of the playthrough
thinking about how from kyoko’s free time events we can assume she didn’t have friends growing up since she’s afraid of getting close to people. And she was finally starting to trust everyone like family, especially makoto. but then he betrays her. after she put her life on the line for everyone too, thats how much she trusted him. but she got hurt yet again for trusting someone. and till the very end she didn’t show any emotion that would make any of them feel guilty for choosing her. She died with everyone still unsure if she was guilty or not.
This ending might not have been so bad except for one thing.. Where the hell is Fukawa?? When'd she die?? It would've been a happy ending for her to birth Togami's child (and would lighten the burden on Asahina some, as well as make the possibility of future inbreeding less likely); so what the hell???

After all, Hagakure predicted that only he and Naegi would each have a child by the same mother; never mentioning Togami. ^7^ I feel so much better about this bad ending now~ (god help me lol)

I like how in both the good and bad ending, you counter Kyoko’s Statement for the First and Last time. It’s really symbolic of Makoto’s and Kyoko’s Character Growth, because Kyoko was NEVER wrong before, and Makoto growing to be right over her is a big deal. This is amplified by her Execution, where it’s one of the few instances she expresses fear, but to a greater extent.
This ending is bad because it gives them a false hope like in the End Naegi was questioning the hope he had saying this was not right Junko also knew that giving them this fake hope then having them realized it on their own with all their decisions they have made is truly despairing they could’ve gone out and tried to save the world but with Kyoko dead they stay in the school and lose that chance of fulfilling their hope they live their lives peacefully in the school having nothing but false hope until they finally realize and end up trap inside the school they once called peaceful but as days go by knowing what could’ve happened they start getting more anxious more violent becoming one with despair

Simple really Alter Ego was motivated and moved tenfold by Makoto's incredible selflessness, when he doesn't speak out against Kyoto, which in turn gives Alter ego a boast of morale aka Hope. But when Naegi just sells her down the river so to speak, Alter ego no longer thinks they can be saved or even deserve to be saved thus alter ego does not use the last of their strength to save Kyoto to be fair you have to be a fricken idiot to get this bad ending by accident its so painfully obvious not to blab in the first place.

The one thing I don't get about this bad ending is: why does Toko die? Makoto says that after Kyoko's execution nobody else got murdered, and she didn't have any terminal illness. Is it meant to imply that she committed suicide or died on accident? It's just weird.

If anyone is confused if they are still teenagers, no they are not. If you watched the good ending, when junko explains that they lost 2 years of memories and stuff they are actually 18 years old but they think they are 16 so in the last pic they were probably 20 or more, so they arent kids anymore. And by the time they are 20 Yasuhiro would be 23 or 24 so he is not that old too.

Also Toko is dead in this ending - at least that's what's confirmed by the directors - they didn't say how but did say she was dead.
Also there's no telling Byakuya, Makoto, and Yasuhiro can even have female children. It isn't just a fifty/fifty integer on whether a child can turn out a gender - most of the time a male will only have the excess chromosomes to produce either/or. Sure cases of having chromosomes to produce both genders are common - but it's not common enough to suppose all three select remaining males can reproduce and impregnate Hina was both girls and boys.
Why do you think the one historical king executed so many women - he wanted a son, but no matter who he screwed he got a girl - the problem wasn't the women, it was him.

Judging that Togami’s son is the oldest, Toko couldn’t handle them being together and ended it. For those saying she’s taking the picture, in Japan it’s traditional to have a picture of a dead relative with the black bow on it.
One thing I just noticed that is off about this trial is obviously the execution, it is not specifically catered to any ultimate ability, and we know why
If it is for Makoto,which it usually is,then it would sort of make sense because Makoto is an ordinary student.
I would say it is catered for Kyoko. The idea is that the sound of the crushing machine getting closer it will break her usually controlled and calm composure.
From a detective standpoint, the noise allows her to predict her death but she can do nothing to prevent it (something which ties back to the DR Kirigiri novels and DR Zero where, without outright spoiling anything, it’s mentioned Kyoko’s detective abilities are such that she has the potential to prevent deaths. This also links to her ability to hear death’s footsteps).
Also at this point in the game as far as Junko is concerned nobody, including Kyoko herself, knows Kyoko’s ultimate ability so having a more obviously detective-themed death wouldn’t make as much sense.
The executions were never really about the abilities, they were about despair. Celeste's execution had nothing to do with gambling.

thinking about how from kyoko’s free time events we can assume she didn’t have friends growing up since she’s afraid of getting close to people. And she was finally starting to trust everyone like family, especially makoto. but then he betrays her. after she put her life on the line for everyone too, thats how much she trusted him. but she got hurt yet again for trusting someone. and till the very end she didn’t show any emotion that would make any of them feel guilty for choosing her. She died with everyone still unsure if she was guilty or not.
This ending might not have been so bad except for one thing.. Where the hell is Fukawa?? When'd she die?? It would've been a happy ending for her to birth Togami's child (and would lighten the burden on Asahina some, as well as make the possibility of future inbreeding less likely); so what the hell???

I like how in both the good and bad ending, you counter Kyoko’s Statement for the First and Last time. It’s really symbolic of Makoto’s and Kyoko’s Character Growth, because Kyoko was NEVER wrong before, and Makoto growing to be right over her is a big deal.
This is amplified by her Execution, where it’s one of the few instances she expresses fear, but to a greater extent.

This ending is bad because it gives them a false hope like in the End Naegi was questioning the hope he had saying this was not right Junko also knew that giving them this fake hope then having them realized it on their own with all their decisions they have made is truly despairing they could’ve gone out and tried to save the world but with Kyoko dead they stay in the school and lose that chance of fulfilling their hope they live their lives peacefully in the school having nothing but false hope until they finally realize and end up trap inside the school they once called peaceful but as days go by knowing what could’ve happened they start getting more anxious more violent becoming one with despair
