My opinion here. I think Hinata talks faster here because in the previous cases, they already know who the killer is. In this however, the stakes are higher than before. Not to mention that there is a time limit to the trial (If I am not mistaken)
There is no time limit. Monokuma just invented that in the first game to blame Kirigiri or Makoto as the culprit and make the students don't resolve de case.
I actually had an idea for a fifth trial that takes inspiration from both v3’s fifth trial So while the cast was exploring after chapter four, they come across this room with a hydraulic press. There was a remote control on the table that was apparently supposed to operate it. Monokuma explains that there’s a special kind of battery that keeps it from needing to be charged for a long time. And that gave the victim, the SHSL ??? an idea for a murder plan. Some time later before the body discovery, the victim announces there’s a bomb in the gym but says there’s a deactivation switch. And that they’d have to act fast before the bomb explodes. Eventually the protagonist and another student finds the deactivation switch but it doesn’t work and the bomb explodes, taking out the power and security cameras. The blackout lasted a while until Monokuma eventually turns on the generator as he realized he’d have to in order to move forward with the killing game. The generator room is very close to the hydraulic room by the way. There was some weird device thing on the generator in which Monokuma tries to take off yet fails to as it required a password that no one knew. Also it should be noted that though the power is back on the security cameras were still kind of wonky. Suddenly there was a loud crash from a nearby room and everyone ran to check it out from the room they were in. (Everyone was in different rooms) There stood a crushed hydraulic press with blood all over it. One of the students sees the remote on the floor and presses the button to try and raise the press but it didn’t work. She opens the control and the batteries were missing from it. After some investigating though, there was another device on the press like the one that was on the generator. And the victims’ student handbook was lying in front of the press. In the trial, students were trying to figure out what caused the press to fall, first thinking someone simply took the batteries out of the remote control. Eventually an “ai” of the victim shows up to help and they figure out the remote control wasn’t used at all because the batteries from there were what was in the deactivation switch (and the deactivation switch was a dud and only used to show the other students that the remote wasn’t used at all) And soon it comes to light the victim’s talent was the ultimate inventor and those devices on the machines were connected to each other so that when the generator was turned on the press would start hence making the person who turned on the generator, the culprit. Yep the victim was trying to get Monokuma to murder, and by default the mastermind. Now the victim actually was also targeting the traitor as well as another option since the victim saw the traitor’s motive video and it revealed the traitor made Monokuma and the victim was counting on the traitor confessing in the end knowing the traitor would do that to save everyone else But there was one problem that the inventor didn’t count on. The traitor never saw his motive video and was completely unaware that he was the traitor. And in the end everyone gets a wrong answer and the traitor revealed to be the protagonist who didn’t take this all so well because he already had a guilt complex. Imagine how much worse it was for him to realize he had betrayed everyone. This not going to plan, the victim who was actually not dead (I’ll explain a little later) tried to find a way to stop the executions as he only planned to stop one not three. But luckily the execution did fail because the protagonist had made an ai earlier and uploaded it which actually caused a virus. (This was unexpected as they didn’t expect the protagonist of all people to take a chance at something like that without reassurance). Afterwards everyone meets up, at first 2/3 of the students who were saved were unwilling to forgive the protagonist (another note. The ai didn’t actually have the protagonist’s face it just said error on the screen so the students thought the inventor made the ai) But the inventor confessed that he didn’t make it and isn’t the best at programming. And that the ai they saw in trial was actually just some camera connected device. And also the inventor explains what he was trying to do was save the protagonist after he got voted. Since after he saw the motive video, he came to the question on why the protagonist had this in a motive video if the protagonist already known before this(the videos were given in chapter four so he had thought that during chapter four though that the protagonist saw the video). So the inventor came to be conclusion that blaming it all on the protagonist was the plan to the mastermind and the inventor decided to mess with the mastermind and possible get them to reveal themselves. And the inventor also exclaimed how the only reason no one died was because for the protagonist. (Sorry if this is really disorganized and some things might change from it)

Mr. Folklore No it doesn't. His luck operates in cycles, so for every good thing that happens to him, something bad happens to balance it out, and vice versa. For example, after being kidnapped (bad luck), he found a winning lottery ticket in the trash (good luck).
No wonder, this made Chiaki unaware that she killed Komaeda! She must've thrown the Poision Grenade trying to extinguish the fire. I gotta admit,Nagito is very Clever.
no matter what version of danganronpa it is, whether it is danganronpa v3 or Super Danganronpa Another 2, the 5th case is the one that is the most confusing and makes no sense half the time.
*SPOILERS FOR THE REST OF DR2* Imagine if Chiaki hadn't come forward, or the survivors voted wrong. That would leave Chiaki as the sole survivor, but as an AI, she either wouldn't be eligible to vote in the "Graduation Program", or she'd continually vote to repeat, leaving her and Alter Ego Junko trapped in the NWP forever. Without enough people to sway the vote, Makoto would never even enter the NWP. Of course, that means Class 77-B would never wake up, either, including Nagito, but that would be perfectly acceptable from his POV, given that they're all Remnants of Despair. I seriously do wonder how much he learned from that file, cause his plan was even more of a masterstroke than we, and maybe even he himself, realized.
I mean techno his plan would have worked no matter what. If it was all real and chiaki was alive and they chose her they would graduate and leave but wouldn’t be remnants or they all die
I know this comment is old, but I wonder how much the file revealed as well. Possibly everything except the new world program is my guess, because if so he would have known that his plan wouldn’t work because the rest of them wouldn’t die but instead continue to be in a comatose state.
nagito making this case like a game for them to finish how ironic that he got killed by the traitor chiaki who was in her real life when she wasn't an AI known as the ultimate gamer
Uhhh guys, I think I know now the reason that why it says that Chiaki killed Nagito- (SPOILERS?) It says that she "Accidentally" killed Nagito while trying to stop the fire. (I saw this on google) Mabye Chiaki is the last one who threw the poison fire grenade one- (ye this vid-) Finally I found the reason, Ive been figuring out this whole time😭😭😭😭😭😭
Disclaimer: I have not finished the game yet. I literally just finished the 5th class trial. I’m confused. Why did they vote for Chiaki and it was determined correct, if they proved that Nagito killed himself? Even if he did intend to set someone up to weed out the traitor, just b/c the traitor revealed themself doesn’t mean they killed him. Nagito did the actual deed...I feel like I’m missing some major point in the story. Maybe I should just keep playing and this becomes more clear later?
Spoiler for v3 don’t look if you haven’t seen it In v3 kokichi does something similar where he manipulates gonta to kill someone and technically kokichi planned it out while gonna did the physical kill which is what monokuma considers
The only reason why this all worked was because of his talent. If it was titled as anything else, he’d be considered a dumbass. Let’s admit that out of the gate here. I mean- like… he had a lot of trust on his classmates. This is Joker from The Dark Knight levels of stupid planning. All of this could have gone wrong at any time. What if they checked early? What if they didn’t check at all? What if they didn’t put out the fire? What if they took too long and he died by his own hand out of exhaustion or bleeding out? Like- this is the dumbest most ridiculous plan, and everything was so fucking convenient for him.
I mean, what’s the point tho? Obviously it’d be dumb if it were any other talent because then all these things would be writing asspulls, but they’re not because it’s been repeatedly hammered down to use that his title of ultimate lucky student practically gurantees all this. If he had another talent he’d likely have a completely different life and mannerism which would lead to an entirely different outcome and plan if there even was one. I guess what I’m trying to say is that it makes no sense to apply the same characteristics of these characters to a version of themselves with different talents or no talent because that ignores a significant part of their life, principles, and character which led them to where they are and what they do.
_Ahem_ *NO, THAT'S WRONG!* Sorry, but based on the way the camera moves between different characters in the actual scene, assuming Hajime is in the middle, that means Chiaki is right next to him, Fuyuhiko and Sonia are to the right, and Kazuichi and Akane are to the left. Since the hugging pair have at least two people to their right, that rules out Fuyuhiko and Sonia. Since the silhouette on the far right is covering their ears, that makes me think they were expecting a loud bang but not an actual explosion. Since Sonia is the only one who knew the bombs were fake, it makes sense for that to be her. Since Sonia was the furthest to the right in the original scene, that makes the one shielding themself Fuyuhiko, which works, since he thought the bombs were real, and that leaves the hugging pair as Hajime and Chiaki. Another possibility is that Chiaki is the one covering her ears, which would make Hajime the one shielding himself, and _Kazuichi_ and Akane as the ones hugging, but I don't think it's possible for Fuyu and Akane to be the huggers.
@@CABRALFAN27 It couldnt be kazuichi and akane hugging, since the one being held is considerably shorter than the one holding. If we check, kaz and akane are about the same height. However, upon looking closer, hajime and chiaki are also an option.

The ending fucking broke my heart
6:37 Oh no. It’s happening. THE GREY GUYS ARE MULTIPLYING, I REPEAT, THE GREY GUYS ARE MULTIPLYING!!! THIS IS NOT A DRILL
IM HOWLING
*OH NO*
Bro really said "I wanna make my murder look like a suicide" -Will Wood
*_K O M A Y A I D D A D_*
nagito was a fucked up good boy
This case really was "So, you got all those 'survivors', right? Now imagine the very *worst* case scenario of who dies"
No matter how many times I keep rewatching, it's just too good, TOO PERFEEECT UGGHHHHHHHHH
I realized how more confident Hajime sounds than in the other trials-
nagito making this case like a game for them to finish
how ironic that he got killed by the traitor chiaki who was in her real life when she wasn't an AI known as the ultimate gamer
I love how everyone is the blackened
This whole chapter cemented him not as Nagito Komaeda, but NaGOATo Komaeda
*but that was only the beginning of nagito's plan*
Kokichi and Nagato The ultimate people that can end the killing game
Insert Olaf's "I've been impaled!" here. Seriously, though, wow. Nagito is a whole-ass mood.
When you get this on your recommended: *haha funny trauma man go brrr*
I like how the description is just, “insane”
Two words, ✨ *Perfect plan* ✨
I feel like this closing argument physically assaulted me.
I still love this psychopath ;-;

@@Lexyon99 thanks :3

@@Lexyon99 LMAO i've had this acc since I was in middle school i'm immune 😭😭
Uhhh guys, I think I know now the reason that why it says that Chiaki killed Nagito- (SPOILERS?)
It says that she "Accidentally" killed Nagito while trying to stop the fire. (I saw this on google)
Mabye Chiaki is the last one who threw the poison fire grenade one- (ye this vid-)
Finally I found the reason, Ive been figuring out this whole time😭😭😭😭😭😭
Fun Fact: The whole closing argument feels more climatic if you mute the volume and open a second tab and start playing Requiem for a dream
0:19
The bottle: Monokuma's Special Poison! (For poisoning uses only!)
Does Monukuma think they were gonna bathe in it?
The victim, killed the blackened. Wow
It's kinda beautiful how nagitos death has a bunch of monokumas and then chiakis execution has a bunch of monomis
When i first saw the spear in his stomach my stomach started hurting bro😭😭😭
i miss Nagito sooo much man watched this like 50 times best Charecter in the game by a MIIILLLEEEEEEEE
0:03
Not gonna lie, he looks like he just came back from the store after drinking at the bar.
6:50 Am I the only one who thinks hajime looks like an angry cat?
I love Nagito: 50%
Nagito made a pro gamer move:49%
So Hajime really solve this case with only few Truth Bullet ?! Woah:1%
Chiaki is the one who threw the poisoned bottle so she is the one who killed him
Furuta KEK yep lol I totally missed that. Thanks!
Spoiler for v3 don’t look if you haven’t seen it
In v3 kokichi does something similar where he manipulates gonta to kill someone and technically kokichi planned it out while gonna did the physical kill which is what monokuma considers
6:42 me and the boys being the culprit
Jay (Kubz Scouts) will be playing this chapter next. Can't wait to see his reaction. 😬
the perfect kill.
*does that one nagito pose of him seeing his hand*
Well, that's a plot twist right there I'm I right?
imagine if like the monokumas missed eachother and they just find nagito laying there looking at them like: 😐
4:08
WAIT.
IS THAT SOMEONE PROTECTING FUYUHIKO FROM THE BLAST??
6:40 the fact that we can’t determine the killers identity IS WHAT??? Y THE CLIFFHANGER THO
I love how the title says spoiler and as i scroll down the recommend feed i see the thumbnail thank god i wasnt spoiled for it
who let me have access to the internet
His IQ is higher than the team of Danganronpa combined
this is literally my favorite closing argument
After a very long time, me and a peer have finally discovered that at the scene at 3:58
Fuyuhiko IS hugging Akane.
_Ahem_
*NO, THAT'S WRONG!*
Sorry, but based on the way the camera moves between different characters in the actual scene, assuming Hajime is in the middle, that means Chiaki is right next to him, Fuyuhiko and Sonia are to the right, and Kazuichi and Akane are to the left.
@@CABRALFAN27 its very difficult to crack when theyre all gray.
@@helpilostmybeanie1868 True that. Who wants to bet they just had two of the silhouettes hugging and didn't actually put any thought into who they actually were? :P
@@CABRALFAN27 i like to think its hajime and chiaki now 😔
we still dont know if his cause of death was the poison or the spear
Damn....
Nice clothes nagito!
Me searching up danganronpa: the thumbnail is a huge spoiler
Yeah.....that's how I've gotten spoiled for v3. Maybe don't search plain "Danganronpa", you'll get deaths.
Btw the closing argument is my favorite part! Even though I'm have not play that game I still like it!
Scary part is there nagitos in the world we live in now 🤯😳😳😳 his class trial was the best in all the series hands down this was just straight up genius i fail this trial some much times until i won🤦🏾♂️
Nagito: Ima be myself and do suicide
nagito as a ghost: I REGRET MY LIFE CHOISES!
okay but what is hajime's voice so soothing for
Imagine watching this to the end without any prior context.
take a shot everytimr hajime says "this was only the beginning of nagito's plan:
He was a bastard and quite insufferable after case 1 but god did he bring a good case
how is nagito so intelligent in this game im jealous 😂
just watching this made my whole body hurt i can feel the pain i can feel like the knife and the spear help
Its me..IM THE GRAY MAN
This trial was insane. I loved it and I hated it because it meant the death of Chiaki. I mean damn a murder where nobody can possibly know who the murderer is and its all based on random chance?
If nagito wasnt the lucky student, then yeah it wouldve been based on random chance
What is the song that plays in the background during these closing arguments?
