@Moonline You sure about that? People love her for her design and voice acting, but when you dig deeper into her narative values she is pretty trash for someone with such great influence
Hoang Kiên Vu she is manipulative. Even though she’s the Ultimate Despair, she still has someone she cares for. She genuinely loves her classmates. Although her desire for despair turns that love into something depraved and abominable.

The best part is that it's pretty much canon Mukuro has a crush on Naegi.
Naegi's girlfriend was Sayaka though. Mukuro got to be Naegi's best friend, but I think her goal in the plan was to kill sayaka and elope with Naegi. xD
What are you talking about? Naegi in canon had a crush on Sayaka, at first, but Mukuro never wanted to kill Sayaka??? Or really any of them??? Although in IF Junko mentions her 'rival in love', but that was Kirigiri.
In a certain novel they do say that Naegi was Sayaka's girlfriend. Ikusaba is best friends with Naegi, but she had a secret crush on him. One thing you are completely forgetting is Ikusaba's reason to go through with the plan. The only thing she could ever want is Naegi.
Junko generally lies about her intentions and even lied about what her plan was to Ikusaba. The game never tells you one piece of information. What lie did Junko tell Ikusaba to get her to agree to kill all of her friends that she does value as much as her life.
Ikusaba does not join The Ultimate Despair by her will either. She joins it because her sister more or less guilt trips her into joining it.
Oh wow, I didn't hear that before, since it was mainly implied in IF that Naegi liked Kirigiri, Which novel was this?
And also, after reviewing the wiki, I have seen no evidence about another novel. It states Mukuro joined despair because she wanted her sister's love; and there was no mention about Maizono and Naegi having a relationship. Although it's mentioned that they started to develop mutual feelings for each other before she's killed in the game.

+Noah Rahn More than that. She developed feelings that would have developed into love (if not already) if she had had enough time. The reason being Makoto was the first person to smile at her, and he gave her the kind of love/affection/attention she had always wanted from Junko. It's speculated he's one of the main reasons she waivered in her mission.
Ikusaba would have replaced Kyoko as his main love interest if she survived the betrayal. However it's only an alternate world. Just like the one where he has kids with Hina and Hiro.

That scene was such a shock to me since I went into that anime thinking Mukuro was just a broken girl under Junko's control but if anything she comes off like she gets off on every horrible thing her sister does.
@@wdcain1 That's the thing, that's exactly what everything we knew about her pointed at, that she's just a girl with no self-esteem who hasn't known anything beyond war and serving Junko and is curious if there is something more to life.
Despair Arc honestly just seemed like some alternate timeline crap. Ironically, DR IF Mukuro is way more in line with DR1.

Would’ve been interesting but the actual Junko is way more interesting than how it would’ve gone with Mukuro.
The things that gave Ikusaba's disguise away:
1.Her pupils (if you compare here eyes with and without her disuguise,you'll see its the same pupils)
2.Her lack-luster acting
3.She often mentions about *herself* in your free time events with her
4.She seems to always talk about her (ikusaba) or Makoto Naegi,those are the topics she always go back to
5.If she is the ultimate fashionista,She would be more likely to talk about fashion,not "herself" or Naegi
Her boobs are also smaller and she has freckles
But at that point they didn't even see the REAL Junko Enoshima so the think she' s the real one and nobody thinks she is acting like her sister or something
The fact that in the first time you meet her there is mention of how the pictures she's in are all photoshopped was the big clue. The ultimate fashionista wouldnt take photos that need editing. They would be perfect already.
Oh and she has like a sort of smaller face and more hair covering it.
SuperSonicBlur Thats not exactly a solid argument when you think about how the reason students at Hope’s peak don’t have to attend classes is because they’re expected to work on their craft. Sakura still trains despite being the “Ultimate” Martial Artist, Sayaka still does practice despite being the “Ultimate” Idol etc. The pictures being photoshopped wouldn’t automatically mean the girl they’re looking at isn’t the ultimate fashionista. It could simply mean that when the photos she takes are subjected to the same fine-tuning process as other models, Junko’s always turn out the best. It’s true that they were attempting to drop that hint she wasn’t Junko by pointing this out, but it wasn’t really as well-hidden a clue as they might’ve intended
I like how people say Kirigiri is better but Mukuro Ikusaba gets more views.

At first I would have thought that Junko was developing a crush on Naegi, but after finishing the game and learning more about her it suddenly becomes rather unsettling.
Romilus True, actually though the whol ething was retconned a little into being that she was in fact already slightly in love with Makoto from back when they were classmates. I kind of like the whole idea, if onlythey had created it and developed it back when the first game was being made... well,I guess that'swhat Danganronpa IF is for.

She's honestly kinda sad as a character. Just when she was starting to feel twinges of happiness, of "hope" if you will, she's killed by the monster that is her sister, for FUN.

It's events like these that make me wish they would write a separate story where the whole class didn't have to do a killing game and went through hopes peak as normal friends. Just with no crazy Junko and Mukuro free to be herself
I would imagine Mukuro and Junko would be the two "queens" of the campus if that was scenario i guess you could replace Junko's obsession with despair for a obessions with fame or popularity status

@@kaylemathewcomendador6964 They honestly could switched sakura and mukuro have sakura die first because she tries to stop monokuma at the start but even with her strength she isn't enough and then basically give mukuro sakuras story have her working with junko but then as the game progresses and she sees more of her classmates die and feel sadness it makes her change and eventually go against junko it'd also be interesting seeing how everyone reacts once they find out she was helping junko.

I guess the ultimate soldier would have enough agility to dodge attacks, but I also think Monokuma would definitely deal some fatal blows that only Sakura could handle.
Plus, I’m guessing Mukuro doesn’t exactly have any of her weapons on her. It would cause alarms if she did, and someone would’ve definitely taken them at some point in the story if they found them.

When we got this mode at the end of Danganronpa trigger happy I was actually kind of hoping that because we already knew Junko's secret and how things came to be. I was actually kind of hoping we'd get Junko and her sister in their own skin no disguises etc. I was legit hoping that we'd get to chat with the real Junko and learn about her. But because that didn't happen it feels like a missed opportunity to me. 🙄
