Having delivered pizza in Daphne I can say that Lake Forest is the most unique neighborhood in the area. With many trees and creeks, and winding/sloping roads, there is a magical feeling about Lake Forest.
I'll add to it a little bit... -that is what it feels like for 4 months here, like trying to enjoy a backyard BBQ in July while the humidity clings to you like a stubborn mosquito, the air thick enough to cut with a knife, and you can’t even escape it, no matter how many fans you set up or how many glasses of sweet tea you down, all while the sound of the crickets and the distant roar of the Gulf keeps reminding you that this is just life in Sweet Home Alabama. 😍🥰
Forgot to mention the flooding, declining property values due to foreclosures and unkept rental houses, and controversy surrounding current HOA board members.
Is the golf for all residents or is it a country club? I’m white and my wife is Black and I know some clubs are exclusive. (She’s the only Black member of our current country club in Illinois). We’re looking to move to Lake Forest in four years (condo - I don’t want to take all those leaves) and just want to be sure we’d be welcomed. Thanks! Great video! My grandparents lived there in the 80’s - 00’s.
For living in that area, the proximity to everything is excellent. Everything in Daphne is on about two main roads with multiple grocery options. Traveling to Fairhope or Gulf Shores is easy with several routes to get there. Traffic around Jubilee Square can get aggravating though. Anyone complaining about a "police presence" just needs to stay away from a family neighborhood. That screams of someone who will make a home blighted and be a nuisance in so many ways. Better yet, don't bother calling police or any public safety if you need it.

Agreed! Wish there were many more just like it!!
Put a wet wool army blanket in the dryer but only dry it half way now wrap it around you that is what it feels like for 4 months here.

@@dedraterry6208 we're not up to date on those but if you make a video we'd watch it

We’ll probably be looking at the area this December when we’re in Gulf Shores for two weeks.
It's a public course but residents are able to become members and all are welcome 😁
You'll love it! If you're interested in meeting, please make sure you schedule it with us ☺️
Your videos are amazing and you have lots of knowledge. I retire in four years but it sounds like we better start looking sooner rather than later.

Well said! Thanks for watching 😊
Is it a HOA community?
It is! But it's not crazy 🤪
Who would complain about cops being in the Neighborhood lol
