Nice looking truck! I have a 2005 2500 with QC & Long Bed. Love it! Workhorse! Just picked up another 2005 1500 with QC and 6'4" Bed. Came with a plow. I may switch over the plow to the 2500. I am a Gen 3 guy I guess! All 5.7 Hemi.
I have a 2008 Ram with a 4.7 motor. It has 217000 miles on it. Still runs and looks great. I have pulled a 6,000 pound trailer with it for years with the Boy Scouts. I'm currently in the market for a new Ram. I'm going to buy one with a 5.7 motor before they stop making them. All the best. Jim from Georgia.
My 2019 classic 5.7hemi 4x4 got 294,000 km it works every day it's always at max payload or towing it's got about 80,000 km plus of driving in 4x4 on snow coverd highway or off road when needed 8 speed tranmission with 321 gears decent on gas so far for parts 2 set of manifold a starter Front wheel bearing change spark plugs twice Lower and upper control arm sway bar links sway bar bushing and the diff and transfer case oil has been change twice since I bought new oil change every 10,000km I run conventional oil 5w20 I run regular gas but I had 200ml of octane to fuel. so far it's been dependable I do all my own repairs this truck never seen a repair shop I'm not a mechanic their easy to work on some of the repairs I have done was preventative maintenance.this my 3rd ram I also own 2 tundra in the long run tundra more expensive to run and maintain
Truck looks great 👍 my 2013 Ram 1500 is currently on 67k and looks much better than a 2024 RAM classic these. Trucks last specially the paint when taking cared ove.
I just picked up a 2009 ram 2500 5.7 with 63k. The bad news. It came with a plow and rusted bed and doors. Do you have any idea what range of beds and doors I can buy to fit? Also are there any good options for a dump bed upgrade?
Im thinking about buying a 2012 Sport with 97k miles with good maintenance history for 19k. Scared about the transmission and the motor but i love rams so much haha should i?
Man honestly I would in a heartbeat, to be realistic the trans shouldn’t have any issues anytime soon, just change the fluid & filter every 30k miles or so. The engine is 50/50 but That’s like a 3-5k repair depending on how you go about it but still worth it because it’s a pain to find a good truck lol
@@aaronsautoshop1991 Appreciate it man! And thats the otd price too which here in SoCal is a pretty damn good deal plus it being a 4x4 im going to go for it! Appreciate it you bro definitely subscribed

That’s really not bad at all, sounds like it’s been a pretty good truck
I don’t understand how you can say it last when you had to replace the engine and the transmission
Cause it’s still trucking at 360k lol not hard to understand.
exactly kinda false information the original trans and engine didnt last past 250k obviously
wouldve been great to see how far the original can make it so far thats about average 250-280k ive seen
Easy to do if you are a mechanic. Which I am not so debating if this would be a good choice for me. I like the headlights.

I hear you on that, it’s all about taking care of them.
Paintless dent removal guy would take those dents right out in short time.
That is very true.
