I had my 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 Cummins diesel up intill 8 or so months ago. 420,000kms on it. I don't ever haul heavy anymore and wanted a new daily driver so i traded in for a 2023 Ram pentastar V6. 19,000 kms later the driver side cylinder head has a cracked valve seat needing a whole head job on the engine, dead speaker in the rear passenger door, and the rear diff main seal needs to be replaced.... Im done with it unfortunately. I purchased new for the first time in my life to avoid repairs like this. It's no costing me anything out of pocket but its been 3 weeks now with no parts arriving.... Soon as im back in the drivers seat, iI'm dumping it across the road for a New Nissan Frontier.... My truck was built on a friday from the one guy who came into work that day, while using a bag of lemons as a hammer.
I've always bought slightly used, usually 1 or 2 years old, and your example is exactly what my fear is going forward. I have heard of modern RAMs having significantly more problems
The country isn’t even close to EV ready. Buy a gas truck. Brain dead will be out of office and normalcy will be back
@@TheNewenglandboys unfortunately the gas price pressure will be coming at the state level. "Low Carbon Fuel Standard" bills are already in place in 4 western states and on the table for many mid west and North East states. Its a scaling carbon tax that allows the state to make high carbon fuels undesirable. California (not my state) just added $0.65 / gallon in taxes this last month using a LCFS bill mansfield.energy/2024/03/14/new-mexico-signed-clean-fuel-standards-into-law/
1:05 things stupid. If I added up all the miles I’ve put in my Toyotas I could claim I’ve driven basically the same vehicle for 800 plus thousand miles 🤣🙄
@@flight2k5 but nobody runs around saying Toyotas are unreliable do they? This is a personal experience video, not a my truck is better than yours video.. even though it is
@ but it’s not better. Adding up miles from multiple trucks doesn’t prove reliability
@flight2k5 its 2 vehicles with 150k working miles each and 10 years of ownership. As other comments arrive with similar stories, you get millions of miles of owner's experiences... you can't buy these kinds of reviews. I've never said it was the greatest thing on earth, I'm simply arguing against the status quo. You like your truck, go like your truck.
@ whatever makes you happy.
@@flight2k5yet u watched the video. You must be brilliant, yawn
