Baked avocado will change your life! I love it on pizza (and burritos) instead of cheese. Even when it gets a bit burned on top, it tastes delicious. I use it as a cheese substitute on pretty much everything. You can also make an amazing cheesy, garlicky sauce to put on top of the tomato base. You would never know there's no cheese: 1/2 cup pine nuts 1/2 cup macadamia nuts 1/2 cup sunflower seeds 1 1/2 cup red bell pepper 1/2 peeled lemon 2 cloves garlic 1 TBS Bragg Liquid Aminos Recipe is by Alissa Cohen from her book Living on Live Food. So a great topping idea I had for a pizza I'm trying this week is artichoke, onion, garlic, and capers!! Maybe some roasted red peppers from a jar. Would probably be really awesome with some type of green like basil or spinach too! So I actually really loveeeee having a thick crust on my pizza. I found that Greek style pitas are perfect for pizza on the stove top. I think it's easier to find a pita that has more whole ingredients than it is to find tortillas without a crapload of additives.
I will definitely try the cheese-less one with spinach. It has never occurred to me to try spinach. I'm not vegan, but I try to eat more plant-based, and your channel is very inspiring and gives lots of ideas.
HELL YEAH! I love Hawaiian Pizza! 😍 Instead of vegan cheese i usualy use Cashew Parm on my homemade pizzas. Works like a charm. My Fav combo is mushroom, spinach, green pepper, and smoked paprika. I use fresh chopped up spinach and put that first so it cooks with the sauce. *chef's kiss*
Your pizzas all looked mouth-watering!!! I especially liked your spinach mixture for the veg pizza, and the raw garlic…woohoo! We usually would put sundried tomatoes on a veg pizza. I buy a packet of the dry sundried tomatoes and put them in a jar of red wine vinegar and water, to store them in the fridge, that way there’s no oil.

Love all these ideas. Another topping you could add is Brussel sprouts. One of diaya's frozen pizzas use to come with finely chopped Brussel sprouts. I had never thought about using them as a topping till I had that pizza, and they went really well on it.

Pizza Hut has a BBQ chicken pizza with pineapple. It's probably not a standard recipe, but It"s my favorite. I'm NOT a vegan but I really like your channel anyway! It's always nice to find healthier alternatives traditional ways of making meals.
My favorite is a "cheese burger" pizza with a very lite layer of vegan mayo as a base with vegan crumbles, onions, sliced tomatoes, dill pickles sprinkled on then a cheddar style cheese. Then when it is cooked do a swirl of ketchup and one of mustard.
Nice thin crust with a tasty tomato sauce...then add caramelized onions with roasted garlic and mushrooms with some vegan cheese and now I would add seasoned spinach and/or kale. Yum! Thanks for great recipe ideas for movie night. 😋❤
I made some garlic pizza with mushrooms, artichokes, kale (pan-fried first) and vegan shredded mozzarella and a bit of oregano on top the other day and it was absolutely delicious 😍 definitely recommended, and I am Italian😉

Visiting Rome on a family holiday we patronised a local pizzeria where most of the customers were Italian. It was common for folks to order two pizzas one fancy one with complex toppings and one with just mushrooms or marinara as a palate cleanser. I have only seen Hawaiian pizzas in the frozen food department in supermarkets or in non-Italian pizzerias.
Yes ! Vegan Italian sausages crumble, , french shalots, artichauts, kalamata olives, Sun dried tomatoes, fresh tomatoes slices , cheese and fresh basil on top is the one I like the most. 🤤

I've never been a fan of regular pizza because I don't like red sauce, but I love tortilla pizzas! I stock up on almond flour tortillas for that reason alone because they're hard to find! I use a vegan rosemary mayo as the sauce, vegan cheese, onion, banana pepper, tomatoes, mushroom, and sometimes vegan sausage and/or pepperoni if I have it. Bell pepper would be good on these too. I need to remember to get a block of cheese next time because I always forget lol.

Fermented bean curd (fermented tofu) is a must for me on pizza. I loved blue cheese. Especially on pizza. And fermented tofu satisfies my cravings for it.

I sometimes grate baked tofu on pizza (and salads) as a substitute for a smoked cheese. Of course, it doesn’t melt, but grating it provides a different taste and texture to pizza and salads.

Pineapple and black olives. Gives it that sweet and salty combination of the original hawaiian pizza. I just sprinkle a bit of nutritional yeast on my pizza instead of the cheese substitutes.
Inspired me to have pizza been craving for a while might make Sunday. A Hawaiin one but using red lentils as my pizza base simple recipe red lentils and water same ratio add spices n salt if wish blend and bake in oven then add ingredients finish cooking. Using vegan Ham, pineapple, and a homemade cashew cheese sauce.
Great ideas guys. I add roasted red peppers from the jar to my Hawaiian pizza. I even add canned peas and carrots that were canned to my veggie pizza. Endless combinations 🎉
What a great idea using tortillas for the crust! These recipes look amazing and I am definitely going to try all the combos! One of my favorite pizzas is a pesto base with artichoke hearts, I use frozen artichoke hearts from Trader Joe’s.....so good😋 I like to make the pesto with different greens like arugula to bump up the nutrition. I make vegan pizza regularly for dinner😏. My favorite is made with Tofurky Italian sausage, Tofurky Hickory smoked deli slices, Ives veggie pepperoni, pineapple, Daiya mozzarella shreds or nutritional yeast, a bit of Tabasco😎, & oil-free tomato sauce (from ALDI).

I have been doing a layer of canned chickpeas (takes about 2/3 of the can), then layer of cut olives (2/3 to all of medium size olives can), then layer of sliced mushrooms. Yah, when I say a layer of each of these, I mean, it’s completely covered with each of these ingredients, so it ends up to be a mound on top, lol. It’s VERY filling. I bake mine in my air fryer, bottom rack (which help crust not get too crisp to a little soft. Next time though, I’ll have to try adding the first layer as some kale with garlic (per your directions), then I’ll layer on my regular ingredients. Can’t wait to try it!

You can also add hummus instead of cheese. The heat changes the texture and taste and it does taste slightly cheesy ;)

I'd recommend adding chilli garlic oil with fresh herbs after pizzas are done baking. Pimps up the flavour sooo nicely!

Great ideas guys. I add roasted red peppers from the jar to my Hawaiian pizza. I even add canned peas and carrots that were canned to my veggie pizza. Endless combinations 🎉
When making larger pizzas, I'll usually sprinkle some nutritional yeast on top after it's baked
What a great idea using tortillas for the crust! These recipes look amazing and I am definitely going to try all the combos! One of my favorite pizzas is a pesto base with artichoke hearts, I use frozen artichoke hearts from Trader Joe’s.....so good😋 I like to make the pesto with different greens like arugula to bump up the nutrition. Thank you for your recipes and your great videos, I always look forward to them. Heading to the store now to get ingredients LOL

I make vegan pizza regularly for dinner😏. My favorite is made with Tofurky Italian sausage, Tofurky Hickory smoked deli slices, Ives veggie pepperoni, pineapple, Daiya mozzarella shreds or nutritional yeast, a bit of Tabasco😎, & oil-free tomato sauce (from ALDI).

I have been doing a layer of canned chickpeas (takes about 2/3 of the can), then layer of cut olives (2/3 to all of medium size olives can), then layer of sliced mushrooms. Yah, when I say a layer of each of these, I mean, it’s completely covered with each of these ingredients, so it ends up to be a mound on top, lol. It’s VERY filling. I bake mine in my air fryer, bottom rack (which help crust not get too crisp to a little soft.
Next time though, I’ll have to try adding the first layer as some kale with garlic (per your directions), then I’ll layer on my regular ingredients. Can’t wait to try it!
I love this idea. Air fryer has been suggested by a few people. I need to try it, just 1 pizza at a time is the only issue.

This is something I've been making for years, I make some of meatball Marinara. Philly cheese steak, the traditional is always my go to along with the veggie one. I will definitely will do the garlic on the spinach 😋
