that is not quite true, of course i can hear the differences of accents and german is my actual native language. btw i have been in ireland a year ago and they are easier to understand indeed:)
I have never been in a truck nor have anything to do with a truck, but I am always wonder struck with these machines, probably my childhood fascination.
Great channel, sir. Really enjoy your videos, not only because of the fantastic trucks but also the editing and directing is very impressive. Keep up the great work.
I've been a driver for 6+ years. Have done freight and now fuel hauling. Looks like this has better clearance/turning radius than a lot of other trucks (curb sniffers). Plus there's a lot of storage and convienent locations of tools. Love how the entire front end opens up like that. I want this truck
Not sure how I found your channel Stavros, but excellent videos. Watching all these little extra features that European truck manufacturers have used makes me really wonder when North American manufacturers will finally enter the 21st century. Those Euro sleepers are so much more well designed and spacious despite them being a smaller cubic space than what's available over here on conventionals. Granted, I'm still never going to give up my big hood conventional Pete so long as it remains legal to drive, but NA builders could certainly take some notes to increase the amount of storage in some of their smaller sleepers.
Thanks for show this new generation of Scania, it`s amazing truck. I´m from Brazil and live near the factory in São Paulo and i know that Scania are testing this new model for launch here only in 2018. Thanks for sharing.
Try repairing them. Nothing but trouble. Brakes melting, Dpf blockages, oil coolers, sensor problems, frame rail early fatigue. They simply don't make them simple.
A very nice and long-awaited update to what was previously the most generic-looking truck in human history. Glad to see they've finally freed themselves of the exterior design language of the 4-series
My favorite truck is Scania T-series limited, the torpedo Scania, its not made by factory but is a very expensive conversion ,very limited production,I think is done by small company and they booked and sold out,- for a long time. That truck is a killer....I just hope You could do a long-detailed Tour and TD on it....maybe they would let You do it,why? well Your tours of the trucks are one of the best here on U-tube. TH
I understand that this and other videos like it that you release are to demonstrate a vehicle that you sell to people who probably already know a lot about trucks like this... but would you ever consider a "tutorial" video for enthusiasts such as myself that don't know all the little gee-gaws on a truck and would like to know what they're for and how they work? For example, the retarder and exhaust brake. I've never driven a semi of any type, longnose or cabover, American or European, but I'd love to know how such things work. Just a suggestion. Regardless, thank you very much from Oregon for a great video on a beautiful machine!
Looks an amazing truck, saw one just yesterday and I was impressed for the amazing front, very good job Scania, your trucks are full of nice features! Thanks for sharing mr. Stavros!
I keep praying and wishing that the S series will come to the states. I love my American Kenworth and Peterbilts, but I want a S series soooo bad, I don't care if the bunk is smaller. Would love to have a 580 - 730
Surely you could get one imported? I'd imagine it could be done as, whilst they're extremely rare here in the UK, we do occasionally see Kenworths, Peterbuilts and the occasional International
Wish we had these in the USA. I've always liked the look of cab-over trucks, not sure how they'd be in a crash though. Kind of surprised they even have the option to display MPH on the speedo!
Great stuff Stavros. Always a great watch. I take it you are / were a trucker? Unreal how much trucks have came on, especially on the inside. as a teen, I used to go on working journeys with my mate and his dad, in his leyland roadtrain or volvo f12. looking back they were so basic compared to that scania lol. cheers :)
Great Video Stavros! I came here because I was bored watching car videos, what a refreshing change. One thing, why not keyless entry and start / stop? Seeing all the toys in the S580 is this also an option? How much are these to buy?
Yes only England have righ hand steering wheels ...Other Europen countries have normal steering wheels Scania with this configuration can easly pull 50 tons
I like this video verymuch it's a very detail review It is very helpful I think i might buy it in the future. Also Please make a video in the night(for lights) in this model both exterior and interior
Von Pieper good idea but if you're from Ontario or Quebec this Scania needs to comply with the 80,000 lbs limit 40 tons weight limit of US states MN,NY,MI,VT,NH,OH,PA, & ME due to this Scania truck or Lorry (Ireland & UK) being rated up to 44 tons 88,000 lbs
Being from Canada, i do truly wish this truck could be able to run here, but the next best is for the N American manufacturers to really look hard and adapt all these ingredients of the Scania. There are more driving features on this model truck than on must high end luxury cars here!
Lovely looking machine, the G410 I drive is absolutely gutless and the cruise control switches off all the time, especially nearing the top of a hill.... apparently a option Scania offer. Great video especially when the woodpecker (lane departure warning) came on.
Much better than the r580,the r580 felt really small, probably the most annoying thing for me was the bed,it was really small and back would hurt when I woke up.
Smashing truck great style to it, really is a pity Scania didn't keep their trucks manual best from scania yet, great video keep up the good videos stavros
Your Videos are awesome because your English is very easy to understand for me as a non english-speaker. :D
George Falls He is using very easy vocabularies, thats why i understand him.
Yeah, same.
People who aren't native to English generally don't hear the difference in accents just like we don't in other languages such as French, German etc.
Oscar Alemán
that is not quite true, of course i can hear the differences of accents and german is my actual native language. btw i have been in ireland a year ago and they are easier to understand indeed:)
I just love these kind of videos! They are quite rare.. =)
I saw two S730 in my neighborhood. They look awesome!
Scania is Real KING OF ROAD🔥
I have never been in a truck nor have anything to do with a truck, but I am always wonder struck with these machines, probably my childhood fascination.
I wish America would invest in these trucks!!!!! I saw one on 80/94 in Indiana/Illinois last week.
MBradley87 Why would we? Who cares about power if your truck looks like shit?
I used to work out of the flying j and TA on Ripley
The most beautiful speed panel I've ever seen on a truck. :D
This truck has better interior than my car 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Saud Khan even beter than my audi
So you’re saying only taxi drivers should watch car videos?🤣🤣 dum fuck
It is better than my house👍🏻
Bgdhthtjtdsododhthttjtjtjrjrjrjrrjtjfjfjfjfjfjffjfjgjgjgjgfjtjtjtjt🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂
Great channel, sir. Really enjoy your videos, not only because of the fantastic trucks but also the editing and directing is very impressive. Keep up the great work.
I loved the camera view on this. You cud see the dash, out ahead, nd trailer in the mirror, all from 1 cam
Wish the cab overs were available in North America.
I've been a driver for 6+ years. Have done freight and now fuel hauling. Looks like this has better clearance/turning radius than a lot of other trucks (curb sniffers). Plus there's a lot of storage and convienent locations of tools. Love how the entire front end opens up like that. I want this truck
very nice, I don't even have a license to drive a truck, only car :(
This truck design hasn't aged a single bit its still the best design and luxury ever after nearly 7 years later!
Built in Södertälje! I might have been part in making this trucks engine when I worked there! :D
Very well presented video of this amazing Scania truck!
Great production Stavros!
The dashboard is almost Audi's, love it.
Nothing beats this cab! It is the best in the market
Message from England, great channel Stavros.. great delivery of information and opinion. Keep it up fella! 👍 👍
Great video man, I'm soooo gonna have one of this converted to a mobile castle when I have a family.

Well done Stavros, its the best video I have seen on the new Scania S Range, very comprehensive indeed!
Thanks for show this new generation of Scania, it`s amazing truck. I´m from Brazil and live near the factory in São Paulo and i know that Scania are testing this new model for launch here only in 2018. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you David Silva Nogueira cheer's.
We need this truck in north America
The Scania S580 V8 Truck has the highest Roof. It is loaded with technology and peace of mind.
Try repairing them. Nothing but trouble. Brakes melting, Dpf blockages, oil coolers, sensor problems, frame rail early fatigue. They simply don't make them simple.
Agreed. Try find a truck that doesnt give bother.
A very nice and long-awaited update to what was previously the most generic-looking truck in human history. Glad to see they've finally freed themselves of the exterior design language of the 4-series
You deserve many more views sir. Awesome videos. Love 'em. Keep 'em coming :)
I love the sound of a Scania V8!

Lorry*
That's the best looking truck I have seen! ...🚛...👀...🙂👌
thank you,master......from CHILE.
I have never seen one Before, nice truck
So much corruption keeps these off American streets. What a shame! Great video.
Euro Truck Simulator brought me here...and I'm glad it did.
One word, 'LUXURY'!
Wish we had these in the USA. I've always liked the look of cab-over trucks, not sure how they'd be in a crash though. Kind of surprised they even have the option to display MPH on the speedo!
Excellent pro quality review. Awesome truck!
Awesome ,very nice truck well presented
Wish this was available in the US. This might be the only truck I'd take over a 389 Peterbilt.
Thanks caliarmyguy good choice.
Didn't notice the kitchen sink though..! It must have one somewhere, its got everything else..

It's there in left hand drive as well
Yes only England have righ hand steering wheels ...Other Europen countries have normal steering wheels Scania with this configuration can easly pull 50 tons

DEF is known as ADBLUE in europe.. Diesel emissions stuff

Swedish domestic market for TTs says total gross wheight truck and payload may not exeed 137k wo permits..

Thanks for watching Sergei Lobov cheer's.
It`s my pleasure.
