Thanks! You can reference the old belt, it will have a part number on the back of it. Or you can put the year make and model In the site your going to buy them and it'll give it to you. I believe they are Alternator: 10x965 Steering: 10x825 A/C: 13x810 But I would double check
Seriously dude. There are dozens of “tutorials” for the e30 but none are as simple to follow as yours. Thanks so much for making this. I was able to change out my alternator and my belts today thanks to you.
hey man when you loosened the power steering pump tensioner bolt the 13 mm one, did you have anything on the back of the other 13mm at the back??? thanks man!
Hey! Thank you for watching and commenting! I don't believe there was anything on the back. It loosened with just the ratchet wrench on the front as shown. classicbimmerbits.com/e30-how-to/e30-power-steering-pump-replacement/ Check this link out and refer to procedure 10. - 15. for more information Hope that helps!
Removal of the fan is not required for removing the belts. But if you still wanna remove it I have a video on how to do it, check out my playlist on replacing the timing belt. There's an entire video about it
This is quite possibly one of the best tutorials I’ve ever watched
