Your fireplace isn't centrered because there is or would have been one below in the same chimney breast and they'll be offset to allow smoke to escape. If they shared the same chimney, the smoke from the fire below could have gone into the room above.
Entire top floor should be master bedroom, bathroom & walk in. Middle floor guest bedrooms Downstairs gaming room in beside the snug, an absolute perfect space for that That would make it much less disjointed with a perfect (tech) flow 🤦♂️

Line the celler, Add ventalation, turn it into a Server/Comms room with direct ventalation out. Make it far easier to get cables in and out for the out buildings. 10GbE links to core rooms and distribute out locally.
The fireplace is off centre because the one on the floor below has its flute running up to one side and you top fire funnels into that flute at an angle to avoid smoke from below coming into your room. Still looks off and bugs me also!!
ALEX The flue from the downstairs fireplace runs on one side which is why the upstairs fireplaces are usually off centre in Victorian houses, I guess it add to the charm 😄 but it bugged me when we first moved in my house.
rubber work mats for the gear room would look good. matches the theme and will work well with the floor. Also if you drop anything less chance of it breaking!
If you cleared the mould, the first room in the cellar could be a wine store and then the second room could be a cool, hidden panic room behind a wine rack!
Yo Alex. Been a sub for years. I think eventually you should do an outdoor swimming pool with rock waterfall. Like a natural rock swimming pool. As always, loving the videos man
no because then anytime he needs it he has to go downstairs and the unlock the door and go down there thats going to feel long in the long run better off putting that upstairs

Alax since you use the bathroom on the top floor could you possibly not move your bedroom and closet upstairs and then it’s your own private floor where nobody will ever need to go

cool house, but one thing that will make it ten times better is not having 17.000 diffrent types of flooring thruout the house, just stick to one type of hardwood and one type of tiles on the floor

There’s shower heads that can greatly increase water pressure! I got one called spark pod. I live in an 18th century manor and it use to feel like someone was pouring water from a cup on me now it’s like a firefighter water hose
