But even the simplest houses can be cozy and have curb appeal if you take care of them. You completely revamped this house and I think it looks awesome. There is something so satisfying watching someone turn a house in shambles to sprucing it up. This is amazing.

Me & my husband bought a “crack” house back in 1989 , we assumed a mortgage with $3500 savings and our house payment was $385 including taxes & insurance. We owed $18,000 on a $50,000 home. The windows were sprayed painted black . He did all the skilled labor and I helped with sweat labor & design. A lot was done before we moved in to make it livable but we did the bathroom , kitchen and utility room the first year .We sold it 5 years later and walked away with $53,000 for the down payment on our 5 bedroom family home. The family who bought it loved it and raised their children there. I still drive by from time to time. Worked so hard on house number 2 too! LOL Long story short I am on house #5 and it is all out my system LOL staying put and this home is the official homestead for me ❤ You made this place amazing!! TYFS

Great job. I bet your neighbors are going to start wanting to spruce up their homes now that your home looks so good. Impressed with your design n color choices.
I think you did a great job. The only thing I would add are some wood flower boxes underneath the windows to connect the wood around the door. Same stain.
It looks much better! The thing that would make the most difference now is longer windows across the front. Those short windows are what they put in trailers. Longer ones would look much better. Just a thought…🤗🐝❤️
Good job. Maybe consider flower boxes with longer shutters to make the windows look bigger. A wider front porch might have made the house look more comfy. My friend said taller bushes under the windows. You did a great transformation, and I applaud you.

I enjoyed watching this. I have no experience. This was very fun and informative to watch. Thanks for speeding it up so that we could see every detail while you were still doing a voice over so that we could understand what exactly what was being done.

Congratulations on your purchase. Bravo to you and your wife, and for everyone involved. Y’all did a magnificent job! May God cover and bless your home. Cheers! 🙏🏾
I built a similar porch cover on my house. I lined it up so to have a L shaped gutter on both sides rather than need 2 short down spouts. As my door faces west and gets direct sun, I wanted this covered porch to provide shade as well as curb appeal. To that end, I enclosed the triangle in the front and finished with a regular flat ceiling. For visual balance, I poured a new porch to match the cover's footprint and built a wooden railing. I've gotten a lot of compliments over the years and several neighbors have covered their own porches since then. Several have relocated their porch light from the side of the door to the new porch ceiling. In hindsight, I wish I'd done that as well.

I just bought my first home this month, I keep coming back to your channel for ideas and instructions.
Thanks!
Congratulations on the home purchase! Good luck with all of you projects and thanks for the support!
I am impressed. This is something a lot of folks are looking for in a home. As an older person, this is an ideal home.Gooc job!
What a great way to introduce your capabilities to the public if you are starting a business. Nice work too! Your parents must be proud.
Incredible change. The transformation is so beautiful and the home is much more curb appealing. Great job!
I think you did a great job. The only thing I would add are some wood flower boxes underneath the windows to connect the wood around the door. Same stain.
Beautiful job. I can’t even put up a shelf so I find this sort of video just… phenomenal! Great stuff 👍
The makeover looks amazing. I really enjoyed watching your video and look forward to other projects. Thanks again for sharing.😊
Great job! Most people would have walked away and never even considered the possibility.
I agree with you 100%.
Bushes grow larger...
I bet the neighbors are thrilled!! You guys are uber talented, so ignore the fools who say crap. You did a lot of work!
VERY impressive! The gable entrance was a perfect finishing touch. Wonderful mission accomplished! 👏👏

Just a Cosmetic comment. Painting /Stain that Red Brick Chimney . It gives a more Modern appeal.

This is amazing! My husband is a retired Journeyman carpenter. I enjoy watching him build so this was so much fun to watch. I even know some of the terms. Lol. Great job!!!
I enjoyed watching this. I have no experience. This was very fun and informative to watch. Thanks for speeding it up so that we could see every detail while you were still doing a voice over so that we could understand what exactly what was being done.
Looks great. You save so much money by knowing how to do these projects yourself. Just goes to show that with hard work and patience you can transform your home.
You did an amazing renovation in this sad house! She looks beautiful and can hold her head up against any house in the neighborhood ❤
WOW! I'm so impressed with everything! Well done Andrew. Proud of you! I'm glad you got the permit issue resolved!
I would have added an entire front porch - you worked so hard on this redo

Man has an idea. Man is doing something positive. Man share with other humans so it can inspire. Haters still gonna hate... If this world isn't lost, I dont know what it is then..

I’m totally exhausted just watching and listening to this! Great job!
I really admire anyone who has such fantastic skills.
Congratulations on your purchase. Bravo to you and your wife, and for everyone involved. Y’all did a magnificent job! May God cover and bless your home. Cheers! 🙏🏾
The overhang made a huge difference. Great job!
