I don't think enough people know how well you (both of you) bring these videos together. I guess I'm wondering if part of it comes from the clearly evident personal investment in knowing the emotional points of what that moment in time meant to both of you? Seeing the city from your perspective is great. But there's so much more that anyone can get just from watching your craft with creating videos. keep it up.

A lifetime of living in other Ozzy cities has given me the appreciation of "Home" for Brisbane. You captured the essence beautifully. I had a tear in my ear watching it. Oh kids, that was such a wonderful walk down memory lane, especially the videos from back on your Honeymoon! Had a lump in my throat watching you young marrieds sailing across so many seas. The shot of Elizabeth crawling out of the tortoise shell is classic! Having your boys see that first boat must have been such a thrill for you. That fellow approaching as the visit to the Honeymoon, with him recognizing you like old friends must have made you feel so proud of being recognized! I love your channel!
Describing AFL as a version of rugby would be a serious offense in Melbourne but probably gets a laugh in Brisbane. Great film. The city looks so good the local tourism board should be offering you sponsorship.

Every video you make is a guaranteed good video, last time I went to Brisbane was 2018 and it looks so much better and different now, I feel like everyone enjoys looking at your videos no matter what age they are. Love the fact how you show your adventures with people.
usually, I don't comment, just enjoy your amazing videos, and give it a like... but the part where you visit your previous boat was really special, certainly brings memories; I also miss my first wood ketch boat "Parnaiba", built in 1908, have no idea where she is, and would love to see her again... BTW, your off narration and short takes of that year on Honeymoon - probably one of the best commercials ever for the Lagoon 380, or any cat, for that matter!! Totally reminds me of "Mad Man" - the tv show - and the episode with the commercial for Kodak's Carousel slide projector. Incredibly well done, Sailing guys!

Usually, when I see live aboard families step off the boat, it's... ok to watch. I think this is the first time, where I was about to write it's one of your best videos. It was a lot of fun watching you explore the city, seeing it through your kid's eyes, and actually witnessing the love and hate relationship on "your" honeymoon. :)

A friend just replied to an email saying that he and his wife were planning a trip to South Stradbroke, Australia. I wrote back with a link to this video telling him that Brisbane is awesome and he has to spend some time there too. They'll probably fly to Brissy, so they just have to stick around to visit all the parks, cafes, restaurants and walkways. We grew up in San Diego, but your take on the city is such that it puts San Diego to shame. I had to watch this episode for a second or perhaps third time!
Playing catch up on your vids after spending the last month moving aboard our cat. SO glad you loved Brissy and had a great time there... had it not been for Covid we’d have been there as well! Brisbane is such a funky little city that it's often overlooked, underrated or unappreciated but I will take living here over Sydney or Melbourne anyday.

It's now obvious why you guys have said you could move to the land of Oz permanently. Also, everyone that is interested in a cruising cat must see the clinic you and Doug did with Multihull Central, that was really great. The Human Hamster Wheel is how the Romans used to power their cranes, they could pick up and place a 20 ton block in a single day with those. Also, it was very cool to see Honeymoon, what a blast from the past!

In the early days of youtube I always searched for sailboats in rough weather. Your video of 50 knots bare poled showed up and I watched it. That was the first sailing channel I found and it's still one of my favorites. The quality and content of you videos is excellent and it's great watching your kids grow up. Stay safe.
I watched the honeymoon channel all throughout college, then I went to liveaboard for 3 years. Now back on land I'm looking to liveaboard again. So fun to watch your family's journey.
You guys, on that boat, started it all for my drive to go sailing. I even wrote to you back then and you responded while I was in Afghanistan. Then I began watching new guys like Delos and such. Glad y’all started sailing again. So fun to watch!!

Another masterpiece - I feel as though I am part of your family because of the way you put these videos together. I love the blend of sailing stuff and showing us, your viewers, around the places that you get to on your travels. I had a few months in Brisbane back in 89 after I left school. It is changed quite a lot since then I guess, but I do remember looking down to the river from the city and thinking it would be good to sail up it one day. As that is unlikely to happen now, I will live the experience through you guys - thank you. Also some tips on how you keep the boys from squabbling with each other would be great - they are great kids! My three just bicker constantly!! 😧 Anyway - thanks again for letting us into your lives. 😀

If and when you get to London there is a dock in the very very centre next to the Tower of London. It’s called st. Katherine’s dock. Highly recommend if you like city life.

What a great episode, so much to take in. I was in Brisbane in the late 60's (R&R from Vietnam) but it looks so much different from today as does most everything. Seeing the old boat had to bring back a lot of memories & emotions, can't imagine. Thank you!
