You might be the luckiest people on th planet. I really enjoyed this episode...especially everyone having a bit of narrative. IMO, it's great timing. The boys are really sprouting up. It's hard to believe I've watched little rolly-polly tykes grow into gangly pre teens. Amazing. I hope you never doubt or question the path you've chosen. Things are so crazy here stateside. Today is probably the first day I actually envy you...I live a good life LOL. Your lovely talented wife at your side, you not without a bag full of your own talents and having such Profound; input, influence and inpact on these developing young men...its a joy to watch. I can see this channel developing into a couple of different sub-channels. Elizabeth having her own fashion/travel/parenting/whatever she wants to talk about channel and (as the kids get older) they can have episodes devoted solely to their interests that they film, narrate, and direct themselves - With a little help editing and publishing, of course.

Man that looks like a lot of fun sand boarding. That reminds me of sledding down the hill onto the frozen lake in the winter when I was about the age of your boys. The real difference was that the hill was covered with trees and the transition from hill to ice was so abrupt that the Flexible Flyer wouldn't make the transition even if you managed to avoid all the trees. Your best hope was to hit a tree early before you get up a head of steam.
“You might think sailing beach to beach would get a little boring after a while.......it doesn’t!” 🤣. Made me chuckle. I agree, I think beach and boring are on opposite spectrums. Wow! Again a very well done video! I love your drone shots looking down. As well, you capture scenes from lots of different angles. I sometimes forget I’m watching a home produced video, and not watching a high-budget nature show. Excellent colours, beautiful nature scenes, and the best part , a family that appears to be having the times of their lives. (Even the part with Elizabeth chewing gum, in the middle of the video, not even on a blooper reel at the end. Hahahah.) By far, one of my favourite UA-cam channels. This is a fantastic way for you to make your memories last. I’m thinking your kids will watch these when they become young adults, ( unless you guys are out on another circumnavigation, making new memories). Thank you for sharing your life and adventures.

Hello there Seth and your wonderful wife and family. That was a beautiful place I think I wouldn't call that one place yellow patch or whatever it was I think it looked more like a rusty color so I would probably name it Rusty Island or rust patch or Rusty patch something like that anyway. And at sunset was really remarkable so beautiful all that orange in the sky reminds me of a fire in the sky when I used to be in the forest service fighting fires years ago that's how the sky would look above the mountains. Also that rainbow oh my God that was the most beautiful rainbow or double rainbow out of all the rainbows I've ever seen in my life on videos or real life that I think was the most beautiful one right over the island in the background that was so cool I'll have to activate my screenshot and come back and take a screenshot of that. Great video again ! Curious how the sand gets that color. That torch lighting the campfire- might be nice to have handy on deck if you’re in “pirate” waters. Flare guns and bear spray also. I used to do this as a kid, parents were elks members, which came with access to a campground and beach/dunes and we lived there in the summers, (no central air back for us back then), I'm ecstatic at how excited your kids are on that beach. Another great video.

I kind of get what you felt about those islands shores a bit like the Maine coast. I live on Maines Mid Coaat on the beautiful and bountiful Damariscotta River estuary 15 miles from the Gulf of Maine .. the low tide mud flats with our 10' tides does look like the shores where you are. Someday I hope to visit my good friend in Japan and maybe someday see some of thus area too.
The Damariscotta River for thousands of years had indigenous people's eating and leaving oyster shells at what we call the Shell Middens .. great 50' thick and football field sized mounds of white sun baked shells. The Middens were greatly reduced by Europeans who mined the middens for fertilizer and chicken feed until they are so greatly reduced today but some remain to enjoy.. Imagine the feasts these first Americans ancestors to the now Wabanaki, Penobscot and Pasamaquoddy tribes must have had here in years past. The river is Natuinally known for its oyster fare and restaurant across main street from me called the Shuck Station (a former Gulf Gas Station) features the Damariscotta oysters from 5 or more floating farms up and down its waters. The menu is a big colorful plastic sealed map of the river with each farm listed to choose from. Mix and match and boy they are GOOD!!. As sound proofing against the occasion traffic .. they built a wired wall filled with oyster shells reminiscent of the white shell middens not even a mile upstream from the restaurant..

Hi Elizabeth! I watch “The Sailing Family” because of you, well, and the whole family. You are “real” and around my age. The other sailing vlogs don’t offer what I want. As a kid who grew up in American Samoa I appreciate how you are raising your amazing boys. I trued out okay. When I was nine I dreamt of being a photographer and now I am. I have looked down two cats Outemier 55? And the OC 50. Any thoughts about these two. I would like what you and your husband pros and cons. I want to pick up the boat. Thank You 🙏🏼
Hi Shayla, you're too sweet! Thanks for writing! Those are both outstanding boats. The Outremer 55 is incredibly popular right now and I think more expensive? But the layout and swing helms are very nice features, and our Outremer has treated us well. The OC50 is a boat my husband loves, but he's biased as he's just started working with them on their marketing. But yes, if we were to buy a boat today it would probably be the OC50. The fit and finish is far better and the hull is much stronger. Seth say's epoxy versus polyester is a huge difference. Does that help? Not a sailor, but my family had a power cruiser. I still have fond memories of those years 65 years later.

Thank you very much! We're slowly getting better. To be honest, most of it is shot on an iPhone 11. The microphone is a cheap RAZER. It works!
Polaroid glasses are designed to darken the light in what you are seeing so maybe whack em up on top of your head ? just a thought lol

I watch “The Sailing Family” because of you, well, and the whole family. You are “real” and around my age. The other sailing vlogs don’t offer what I want. As a kid who grew up in American Samoa I appreciate how you are raising your amazing boys. I trued out okay.

Those are both outstanding boats. The Outremer 55 is incredibly popular right now and I think more expensive? But the layout and swing helms are very nice features, and our Outremer has treated us well.
The OC50 is a boat my husband loves, but he's biased as he's just started working with them on their marketing. But yes, if we were to buy a boat today it would probably be the OC50. The fit and finish is far better and the hull is much stronger. Seth say's epoxy versus polyester is a huge difference. Does that help?
