No. 9's Final Fling? 60009 to York passing Shipley Gate 7 March 2020

On what could be it's final mainline trip, John Cameron's LNER A4 Pacific No. 60009 'Union of South Africa' took charge of The Railway Touring Company's Yorkshireman excursion from Ealing Broadway to York on Saturday 7 March 2020.
West Coast Railways are to be congratulated for letting it run diesel free, so we were treated to an A4 with 11 on and making light work of it.
It is captured here at Shipley Gate on the Erewash Valley line, shortly after leaving the final pick up at Ilkeston station.
Many thanks to all who made the trip happen, especially John Cameron, who has spent whatever is necessary to keep No. 9 on the mainline for such a long time.
