7029 Clun Castle with The Ffestiniog Express at Stafford 8 June 2024

Seen on the return leg back to Dorridge, GWR Castle class No. 7029 'Clun Castle' is seen here pausing at Stafford to set down passengers.
'The Ffestiniog Express' ran to Llandudno Junction for Llandudno then to Blaenau Ffestiniog to allow passengers to travel on the Ffestiniog Railway.
Bringing up the rear is class 47 No. D1755 (47773).

That castle had to come off because she was too heavy to even continue on to Blaenau Ffestiniog
