What does life mean in the age of school shootings

We can rant and rail against perceived injustices and assign blame. But, ultimately, we have to understand what we value, what is meaningful to us, and why we must fight through the discomfort to make our world a better place.
Let's have this conversation even though we're all sick of talking about it. Instead of just telling each other our opinions though, let's really try to understand what is at stake first. From the meaning of life and death, to understanding the value of a risky world, and how we cannot keep everyone (including kids) safe from everything, let's think deeply first before we react. Then, let's do something - together.
