Bought one used it for cleaning a concrete driveway it did a great job I never had one problem ran it over the course of two days for about 8 hours total it was great driveway looks brand new was easy to use just followed directions and that was it.
I was given one of these from someone who left gasoline in it for 5 years. The fuel tank smelled like turpentine. DRAIN YOUR FUEL PEOPLE!!!!!! IF the unit will sit for more than 6 months, drain the tank and let her run until she quits. I had to take the entire fuel system apart and soak the carburetor in mineral spirits overnight. The unit runs at wide open throttle but has a hard time at lower power settings so something else is clogged in another circuit of the carburetor. Oh well, it runs and I got it FOR FREE!!!
The carb Needs to be cleaned further , low speed circuit is dirty .......... little secret - DON'T USE Fuel stabilizer , believe it or not - mix some 2-cycle oil in with the gas - fuel stays good for a year or more , & carb won't get dirty if fuel left in over winter .
Listen to them about the pull cord and safety stuff, i have a dozen small engine machines from huge garden tractors to 2hp water pump and im always safe. I read a general how to and of course, on 2nd or third pull, it snapped from my hand at the end of the pull and that summanabeech smacked my right man tittie and i was done, it was the worst. Last week i took a socket to the eye from a spinning impact wrench and still have a shiner but the tittie smack was twice as painful.
Do not try and transport on the attached wheel system over the lawn. When tilted back to move. the ground clearance is insufficient and the detergent / rinse agent tank valves tear off the tanks. It's easier jack up the house and turn it around. A great unit for all round cleaning. Narragansett Bay.
Regular Unleaded 87-I add fuel stabilizer to my gas can-Helps makes the gas last longer if you only use the gas seasonally and will help protect any plastics. Good luck
Terrible. Bought a Troy Built 3000 psi. Used it a few times and now it won't start. Trying to replaced the carburetor but cannot find a matching one anywhere for it. Can't even find any information about this unit whatsoever. The company doesn't seem to have a functional website, and when it did once work they don't even recognize their own product when I entered the model. That was my first and last purchase of their product. Shame on Home Depot for even carrying this garbage.

I have over a dozen small engines and this thing is super tight. I bought used but the muffler still has its paint and no carbon.
I'd be willing to bet that 90% of these reports are from users letting old gas sit in the carburetor, and that they just need to be cleaned out. It's not a Troy-Bilt problem, it's a user problem. Put some stabilizer in your fuel if you're gonna let it sit for years.

Bought mine at Lowe’s. Used exactly 6 times. Cleaned bowl on carb runs fine but now doesn’t have any pressure. Makes a weird noise when trigger is pulled. Waste of money. JUNK

As a mechanic we are prone to goofing off,so sticking an air hose up a guys butt is funny.well that shit can kill a person.also keep air ratchets away from hair else someone will get scalped LMBO.

My spray tip seems to be an adjustable one and doesn’t come off, is this possible?
I cracked it up before I turned the water on , once I turned the water on the washer cut off and it’s locked up or the cord is hard to pull

Maybe try cleaning your pump? These things are so simple you probably just have a stuck unloader valve or maybe some blockage in the pump.
