Your doing an excellent job on your rebuild and the paint looks GREAT! Your taking your time on cleaning up parts and things that your reusing which is key and it shows, it looks beautiful! I'm the original owner of a 78 King Cobra with 37,000 miles that I can't wait to get back on the road again after its been sitting since 1988. I won't get into why its been sitting for so long I will just say that life and got in the way of that. Right now my problem is I don't have a garage to work on it. I want to say that I been kicking the idea around about removing the undercoating and rust proofing that I had put on my car from new but I am kinda afraid too. The only rust if any on mine are nuts or bolts that weren't coated. tho I think I will leave the underside of the car alone and just do some touch up but I'm thinking of removing it all from the engine bay and repainting that. Anyway keep up the good work young man I will be watching for more updates.
Looks great, glad to see another update on your PC. As you know, 79-84 rear bumpers are hard to come by (in good condition). If your original is "wavy" you can use a bumper support (ie "piece of foam" that goes on top of the steel reinforcement bar to help with the top wave. Doesn't fix the back, but at least the top will be flatter than stock. I used one on my 82 GT project and it helped a lot.....
@@zweifelgarage1817 There are 2-part flexible urethane repair kits that can be used to fix that sort of damage. I used a kit like that on the lower air dam on my 82 GT. It was ripped pretty bad at both sides of the center opening and it turned out really well....
Loving the project. It might just kick me in the ass and kickstart my 80 cobra project. Keep up the great work!
Insane work Ethic. Gorgeous car. Awesome job. Literally I can’t imagine how good that must feel to restore something to better than new like that.
Thanks man! You’d shit if you knew how many hours I have in it
Looks incredible!
Thank you!

I know about that stuff but I’m overly picky with my personal cars
Nice Work?
