Looks great! My first car was a black 82 Mustang GT. My Dad and I amost bought a 79 pacecar at the dealership in Fort Worth TX where I grew up, but we saw the black GT with TRX package coming off the transport a few years later and I fell in love. The search was over for me. This brings back so many memories. The 79 sparked my interest and I kept saving my money knowing the day would come soon when I would own a Boss. Thank you for sharing.

There were five different 140 mph speedometers for 1979-86 Mustang (and Capri). The "Ford Motorsport" ones were aftermarket, sold through the Ford Motorsport SVO (FMS SVO)/Ford Racing Performance Parts (FRPP) catalogs and dealers.
1979-82 Ford Motorsport ('Ford Motorsport' logo - the one you have)
1982 Special Service Package ('Certified Calibration' logo)
    1983-86 Ford Motorsport (no logo)
1983-86 Special Service Package ('Certified Calibration' logo)
1984-86 SVO (no numbers after 80 mph, only hash marks from 85 mph to 140 mph)

Great update, that car will be killer when the weather breaks in 2024! As for the lower air dam, I'm pretty sure you need to install that first (along with the fender extensions). Then the upper bumper cover can be installed "on top" of the lower. That's how I did my front bumper on my 1982 GT.....

I 3d printed a stand for my Holley monitor so that I can mount it to the console.

FYI... you can change the turbo tach to work with a v8 by adding a resistor. I am going to do this to mine soon. I have the resistors. The missing 4-6-8 switch on yours is factory. I'm not sure why, but the earlier cars were like that. At some point in later years (82 maybe?) Ford did install the switch.

The 4-6-8 switch was only in 6K tachometers
