My husband is the calmest person I’ve ever known. During the reception after burying my grandparents, my stepmother stepped on a soapbox to start ridiculing my brother, my husband, and me for being horrible people, while she tooted her horn about how she was the best thing to ever grace the planet earth. Our crimes in her eyes: going to college and not allowing her to yell at us.
Note, she has a history of domestic violence against me and later my dad, and my husband just about lost it. He was 1 second away from chucking her off the back porch down the cliff below when he instead told her to F off and that she was a disgrace to the family before we both left.
She was excommunicated from the family after that.
I'm usually very calm, but my parents broke up a few years ago. After around a year of fighting for 50/50 custody my mom finally gives up her "I deserve you more than your dad does" act. When she tells me, she has the odaciuty to ask if "that's what I wanted". My grandpa considers himself a sailor and even he was horrified by some of the things he overheared me say
So when she started thinking rationally & not selfishly & asked what you wanted you decided to go off on her?

My roommate got high, took my car without asking, rammed it into my mom's parked truck causing $2k in damages. I lost my shit and screamed at him on the front lawn like I was on an episode of Jerry Springer.
A kid on my bus who I was forced to sit with kept making fun of me for like a week or 2 (happened when I was in 2/3 grade) until one day he made fun of my parents. I took the stylist out of my nintendo DS and stabbed him with it tanked it side ways and out and kept playing my game. 2 years later we were best buds laughing abt it while everyone who saw was mortified
I'm generally calm and non confrontational. I never got on with my dad but still kept my composure. Due to my culture, it was always wrong to talk back so I held it in. He was extremely overbearing to everyone around the house and quite hurtful especially when it came to my academics. I had bourne his passive aggressive attitude for years, so had everyone else.
Fast forward to my twenties- I moved to England for two years right after uni to work (it was the best thing i ever did). For two years I could live my life, wore whst i wanted, go out and come back when I wanted and be free. I even met my husband in the two years.
After my visa ran out I had to go back to Canada only to find that my dad was made redundant and his attitude still hadn't changed... infact it was worse, (side note, my mom at this point was in India, looking after my grandparents- she would go for four months at a time). I found a job to keep away from the house and to save up money. I was 26 then abd after two years of freedom it was difficult to settle back in what seemed like a cage. Anyway, one night, he was in one of his moods and i couldn't be bothered to put up with it. I had gone to bed and forgot to put my lunch box in the dish washer. I was already asleep. My dad barged into my room in the foulest mood and started shouting at me over that. And slammed the door on his way out.
Well, 17 years of anger decided to come up that night at 11 something pm. I LOST MY SHIT. think i shouted at him for a good hour and he couldn't believe the audacity of me. My sister was in tears trying to calm things down but wouldn't have it. I told him how hecwas a bully and that he took out his anger on people that loved him and if he carried on he would be alone. I couldn't stop.
I didn't speak to him for the next week and he tried to text and I wouldn't respond. Id never done that. I overheard him skyping my mom later that week telling her about it all expecting her to take his side. She listened to it all and then said " I don't blame her. She's right. And if you carry on you'll lose her permanently. Why do you think she left to go to England? " My dad didnt say anything.
I live in England now with my husband and I think my dad and I get on better now and he's far better do I think it hit home for him. That was the only time I think I ever lost my shit at anyone.
Sounds like my dad but every time I say something back he threatens me.
I'm more on the sensitive side even a little bit shouting puts me in a state of anxiety and I start shaking with anger and fear.
He has a history of abusing my mom and sisters and beating them but never my brother nor me because he is a boy and I'm the youngest.
I blame him for my moms death and illness.
Can't wait to be free one day and leave this shithole

I’m pretty calm of a person, as in I had an electric pallet mover loaded with a 2tonnes battery on it crush my foot and I’ll barely react, but this week had me at a boiling point. My job’s local office had just moved further away from my jobsite and my home. we need to go here every month, problem is they forgot to notify us of the new address until half a week after this usual visit.
They gave me a false hour before they closed and we had to go because they cancelled our refuelling cards and we had to get our new ones in person. The drive took over an hour. the GPS provided by the company directed me into one-way traffic, the wrong way and the detours point me towards closed roads… once I did find the proper route (thanks apple maps), I had to circle the block 3 times cause the address is a multi-company building and there is no signage of my job on any road-visible side… and you guessed it, the office was closed…
I still had 1h 15 mins left before the stated closing time… I called and got fucking berated for “not knowing the closing times” despite them specifically stating an hour for that day in the workchat…
The worst thing? They expect us to this 3h detour to and from that office off the clock, which is illegal in my country… I was fuming….
I had plans that day and whilst I got back barely in time to do those plans, the fact it endangered them and that I did that endangering of my plans for literal nothing, due to a company that has the communication skills of a fucking baby (and that’s insulting to the baby), my mental state was not healthy enough to do those plans. So I wasted my entire evening…
My workcar’s engine got a fucking workout on my way back… you know a job pissed someone royally off when you see a minivan decalled with technicians and “now hiring” going 150km/h on the freeway…
As a generally calm person, i have the misfortune of having (contrarily actually very few things that set me off) a few things that are pretty common. Stupidity in general, and Historical Revisionism (not of the academic kind, but political/religious kind).
I'm with you plus I'll add bad drivers to that list
For me it was years and years of depression and one day I finally lost my shit and all that anger felt good. Anger is a good emotion depending on how u use it. Just make sure ur able to control it.

I have Always been one to be forgotten and overlooked. This one day at school(jr high) was in choir room waiting for class to start. My classmates came in and for a good 5 minutes kept talking when the teacher was trying to get their attention.
I got fed up(I enjoyed and still do enjoy singing) so I inhaled and yelled "Quiet" and held the noise for around 30-40 seconds.
The whole class looked at me and I shrunk down into my seat.
I had just turned 30, was freshly out of the closet and my former best friend had the nerve to say the day my father died from stage-four lung cancer, "Well you two never got along anyway.” I went scorched-earth on her and sent a very detailed email to her husband outlining her multiple affairs and attempted affairs. It wasn't a tough sell as his first wife had cheated on and left him for another woman. My former best friend never wore her wedding ring and often talked about how she would leave her husband if she could find someone better. Boy, did she oversell herself.
i’m extremely non confrontational, i don’t cry to often either. my sister is a kraken, my parents take out the stress from my sister onto me. After a bad argument my mom went down into my room and yelled at me after i told her i don’t feel safe in the house (long story) and i just sobbed, i cried hard. very hard, snot and tears. I communicated with my parents for the first time in years and we worked it out

Since i have more than 1 story it might not seem like I'm a calm person but here we go.
Story 1 happened when i was in 6th grade I grew up poorer than the other kids but didnt matter til i was in 6th grade as that's when fashion started being important. I use to get clowned for wearing swapmeet clothes & prowing shoes while my fellow students shopped at the mall & had brand name stuff. There were 2 cousins that did most the clowning & the only ones that really bothered me when they did it because the rest of the guys that did it were my friends & it wasn't a everyday thing. The cousins were bullying me constantly although it was never physical. In case any1 is asking why i didn't defend myself it wasn't fear of them it was accidentally fear of getting in trouble at home for getting suspended. Thats until 1 day I was telling my lil bro about the cousins & my mom overheard she asked whyvi let it happened i told her why she said she doesn't care if its in self defense but if im the antagonist then its an issue. She also said if i let ppl bully me i was gonna get it worst at home. Fast fwd maybe 2 weeks & we were on lunch & decided to play ⚽️ the 2 cousins were on the opposing team & i scored a goal juking both of them to score. After i did i grabbed the ball & dunked it on the goal post & hung there b4 i could let go 1 of them tried pulling me down but i held on so the other joined i fell on my butt & scraped my elbows. I was sitting there pissed tf off. Thats when 1 said what tf you looking at you know you're not gonna do 💩. So i sat up hit him with 3 piece combo knocking him out his cousin tried tackling me but i blocked it & since his shoulder was in my gut & head was on my hipped i ended up dropping him on his head in a DDT. Thats when it got serious so 1 of the girls that was watching went to call the recess/lunch monitor as the guy laid their his friends were complaining that I didnt fight fair because i used a wrestling move even though it was 2 on 1. Not only that when i came back from suspension 1 of the guy's sister confronted me saying i needed to leave her lil brother & cousin alone or they were gonna get their 18 year old cousin who's a blood to phuck me up.
Hate when they do something they apologize for it. If you do it be loud and proud. If she slut shamed your friend and you punish her be proud
I am a super calm person but there where 2 times in my life that I just snapped #1 when it was my turn to speak to the murderer of my grandpa at that point I had been holding it in for a long time and just completely cussed him out i got in trouble with my parents for cussing but it was worth it because the guy broke down in tears he was around 16 and just got linked up with the wrong people so I kinda felt bad but still he killed my grandpa #2 a kid in our class decided it would be funny to throw the class pet across the room (this was after story 1) and he killed the pet that reminded me of my grandpa and I fell into a blind rage I started to beat him up but teachers pulled me away after that I was suspended for 3 weeks but when I came back the kid was not there 5 weeks later he comes back apparently I broke his led and fractured his ribs in addition to tearing up his face when he came back he was in a wheelchair and he had scars all over his face
I do feel a little bad for him and I ended up apologizing and helping him heal and now we are friends a part of me thinks he is still scared of me and that makes me sad but I hope he can learn to forgive me

I got in trouble for something another coworker did. I am still pissed and will be consulting a life coach about if my job is negatively affecting me.
Story 6 makes me sad. And angry. Like, who DOES that!? What kind of sick, demented SOCIOPATHS go out of their way to make their child's life a misery then shrug it off when s/he RIGHTFULLY gets pissed-off, "practice child" or no!? Ugh... 😒
I have a cousin who is to put it bluntly not academically inclined. She was taking online math courses for college credit and didn't understand the material at all. Her professor would take days to get back to her on her questions so she asks ME to help her with the math. She's 15 years older than me and asking me for help with math I learned in HS. So I come over to help her with her assignment and she piddles away the day. I got there at 10, she tells me at 5 that she doesn't want to do the assignment today that she'd rather just clean her room and that we can do the assignment another time. I lost my shit because I had taken an entire day off from studying for MY finals to help HER and now I was getting home later and lost an entire day of study time because of her selfishness. To this day she still calls me a brat for "not respecting her need to care for her husband" i.e do his laundry and clean their shared living space and 'hopes I grow out of this immaturity before I get married.." FYI she failed that math class and had to pay more money to retake it and never got her degree. I however got mine and she's still angry that I have more education than her.

never been fully deaf before but I do know what story one kid does since ate the time I had a really bad ear infection so every now and again it I breathed in some air didn't happen a lot because I could still partly hear but not very well

Years of pent up rage from kindergarten upward mixed with highschool annoyance = week long rage mealstrom where im set off by minor annoyances, releasing at that time 15ish years of patience i wasted on people I don't like because i was too damn passive.
i snapped in the 6th grade, when the kid what had been bullying me abot being heavy keep going after school. i snapped after telling him to knock it off. I pushed him to get him out of my face, the push may have been a bit hard and the guy feel to the ground but that made him stop for a bit.
What made me LOOSE it ??

I am an only child with almost no social life and then I finally got a girlfriend, I told my mother about her, she was the sweetest thing ever, and my mother forced me to brake up with her... I did t talk to my mother for a month after that
I refused sleep until she gave me permission to date her again, I watched UA-cam instead of sleeping and she was worried sick about me, eventually she gave me permission again, and I started sleeping again

Why does everyone always misspell “lose”
I was in grade 7 right now going to grade 8, was taking health class and I was calm to everyone there, teachers students, everyone, just I started to lose it after days and days go by of the boys, (or I call them by) are always talking there way during class time, so I was not liking it, couldn't focus at all during assignments, and by the time I snapped It was when summer started to drew near, we had a new seating plan but one of them decided to race to that seat so I can't sit there for that day, and I was there when they were there (yeah they were stupid) so i knew I had to run (walk faster) to that class before he could make it there before they could make me lose focus and that would've been bad for me and others that didn't like it too, so when he got there, there stupid asses said "oh you could sit anywhere they want in that pod" and I'm not stupid, I know its supposed to be how it is and everyone sees it that way, so I don't know exactly how I said it to them so this may not be exact to what I actually said but I think I said like "get the hell off my seat" and yeah I was mad that I was about to hear them talking when they are together, so that is when they said it and then I said, "you better not be on it again" then when that day passed, he was always going to hockey so I didn't see him often but when he was there on an other day, he was on the seat that I was supposed to sit on, so I "kinda" couldn't control my anger anymore and said "get the fuck off my seat" the boys were trying to say the exact same thing but I wasn't haven't it, I said "you think im that stupid? Oh wait i remember you are" (the words are not exactly what I said so yeah not really correct) the boys tried to roast back but again not having I started to roast them but not the best way I personally think, so I was mad and everyone that was in that class knew I was done with the B.S, now I may sound like one of those that wants everything perfect but those boys pissed me right off so yeah couldn't control that.
