The main reason why it shows a smaller size is because of the switching between the use of Gibibyte and Gigabyte. This is because one uses base 10 and the other uses base 12. Same size just different numbers. This need to be standardized to avoid all of the unnecessary rage this causes because people don't know this.
So here is my problem, the TF card contents won’t appear under its drive letter and you can’t access it. However you can view that the TF card has multiple partitions under disk management.
Sorry if this is a dumb question but can you just copy the info on one card (like right click copy)and then paste it in the new one? Or is this the only method of copying from one card to another?
Does it have to be the same size because i just ordered a 32 gb samsung for my R36S when it comes. But what if it's 16 gb the crappy card it comes with for the OS? Also do i need to do the same with the game card with the games on or is the crappy one ok for those? because all the video's I watched they only care about the smaller OS card being transfered to a reputable SD card?

May I know what are the steps and processes to upgrade the stock firmware to a branded and new microSD card with the latest version, and then clone all the games and data that comes with the devices to the new branded microSD card with the latest firmware?
What is the total size of the image? Is it roughly the same as the full micro SD card, or some smaller compressed size? Asking because I only have 40 gb storage on my crappy laptop. 😢
Hello, i followed every steps but my R36S console does not boot up correctly... It is working with the card that is came with, but one i cloned it to my new SanDisk64GB SD card then it's just show the welcome screen and the boom pitch black. Any idea?

Thanks! I dont recommend cloning for this. The cloning will always clone the entire card so for this situation its better to copy the folders individually

No its not possible. However you can clone the 64GB Anbernic Stock SD to another 64GB Sandisk or Samsung AND use the 256GB as TF2 and put more games on it. So its a win win
@turnbasedtoddy7664 Second SD needs to formated to FAT32 and then just put it into the handheld and turn it on. It will make folders for you. Then turn it off and you can put your games on it in the corresponding folders 📂
Recently tried this with one of those gamesticks issue I'm running into is I copied the 64gb onto a Samsung 128gb but now when I try to move more games over to the new card it seems to be overwritten saying there's no space? Is there a way to fix this or is that a problem when copying am I just losing the extra space I have?
I saw other UA-camrs say for that to happens, you need to do some partition expansion using other software and watching all the process kinda makes me overwhelmed because I'm not so good with computer tech and I'm so afraid of messing up with my sd card.. my RG35XX will arrive tomorrow and I still don't know what to do... 😢😢 I want to upgrade to 128gb from 64gb stock sd card so that I could insert mario games

Hiii i got sf2000, it stoped working after 5 mins of game play. I managed to save the contents on my pc just copy n paste a back up of roms n game's. I got sandisk 64gb, formatted it to ex fat format then copy pasted the back up files. Is everything i am doing wrong?
@Amlamekvids what im saying is if your coping the file make sure the new sd card file sysytem matches the old sd card. If its FAT32 make sure new one is FAT32. If its ExFAT make sure new one is ExFAT

I think I may have found a work around. Using Rufus to copy your SD card to a HD or destination storage, then use balenaEtcher to write the . iso file to your new SD card. iso file or . Img file 📁

If i use a bigger micro SD card the more memory is unallocated and the partition for the games is the same size as the smaller SD card. Is there any way that i could allocate the memory to the games partition?

Do you have Google drive desktop app? If so exit the app if win32 won't open
Sometimes it helps to shut down explorer too

Can confirm trying to clone a 16gb to a 64gb limited my game file to the 16gb size. No dice.

How do you clone an OS card with multiple partitions that all come up as different devices in the win32 disk imager dropdown menu?
Just pick any one partition, and it will copy all of them. In the video, I copy the roms partition, but it will still read all of them.

i think this could happen if you check mark, read only allocated partitions.

Check the file system of the original sd card. Make sure its the same on the new one so you dont run into any issues
@JaviPlayRetro it was 34 gb no brand sd card. I am transferring to 64 gb sandisk. The file size in total was
14gb.
