This was the first of these retro handhelds I bought *thanks TikTok* and it's absolutely the best one. I just figured out how to add and delete games of my own. This thing is sleek, runs and looks great, resembles a real *legit* console, and feels high quality. If anyone is trying to decide which of these types of consoles to get because there are hundreds it seems, THIS is the one I recommend. I hear the new SP version rules too, I'll probably try it next!
As long as you have a 5v charging brick you'll be fine. Don't get too paranoid. People who have fried their consoles plugged into their phone chargers which deliver higher voltage.
Agreed with this. I have a few old iPhone bricks that outputs 5V at 1A; the cable is a white, quality cable that came from my Pixel (USB-A to USB-C). I've never had any issues using this cable or brick and I've used it with multiple Anbernic products over the last 3 years.
Great video thank you! Especially the case, I had been wanting a case for my new 35xxh but as you mentioned the only one available was the one on etsy for £15 plus £15 shipping to the UK. After seeing this video I instantly ordered one of these cases, looking forward to keeping my console safe in my pocket!
I NEED THAT CASE! Thanks for this video, sir! EDIT: Just ordered the case. We'll see how it goes towards the end of the month when it gets here! Cheers!
I think the case would be so much better, if it was just the size of the console, and when closed, was as small as possible. However, when you turn it around to use it, the console only went halfway down, so you can slide your hands down like you can now. The only reason in my opinion to buy this console (and I have one), is size. If you are going to make it larger to carry, then I would recommend a larger console, that can do more. The case should be as small as possible.
I'm just curious. What is the logic behind "any other charging cable can fry your handheld"? I'm also curious about the logic behind the "four conductor cables." USB charging bricks are not "smart" and there is no data being transferred, so the D+ and D- cables shouldn't have anything on them.
Indeed I often wonder where Norman is now. Probably wintering with his mother in Guildford. A cat, rain, Vim under the sink, and both bars on. But old now... old... There is no true beauty without decay.
So I just now got this device, but I don’t have a computer. How can I save my information onto a card? How would I transfer information to another card without a computer?

I have bought the case/grip and it arrived last week and it is great, fully recommend it to anyone who is considering getting one.
