So glad I found this video this is what mine is doing. Seems to have power but not enough to power wheelie and its doesn't stop the wheel spinning when clutch is pulled in on a paddock stand
All working as it should now, I decided to replace the gear shaft arm and spring and it feels like new again, positive and precise and no dodgy slipping gears. Hope that helps.I also replaced the whole clutch with an oem kit. Though the old was like new i feel the springs could of helped.
Yes Dave, I feel only new springs plus re-tuning the pressure plate and clutch cable, verifying if the connections are right, would've solved the problem. Warped/worn out clutch internals are big problems, and usually when its the case, the bike becomes highly problematic to ride in general, one can feel it.
Hi, Beautiful Gorgeous Bike... Sounds Sweeeet.... Any MODS.... Any Major Problems with yours..... I would like to Find one... So what was the Problem with the Clutch.... Fix it... Hey any Tips...
I'm not sure I understand. As far as I know clutch is meant to connect engine with transmission via friction, so if clutch plates are worn out, then no (or very little) momentum is transferred to the wheel. So when you DO NOT hold the clutch lever the clutch is engaged, but worn out plates can't transfer momentum, so the wheel doesn't move. But why is the wheel moving with clutch lever being held? Clutch plates should be then separated anyway, so what is happening here?
Arkadiusz I believe what Moto was trying to say is the steel plates are warped, when this happens you will encounter clutch drag, this will cause a creep when stopped in gear also hard first gear engagement and difficulty shifting into neutral, all of this can also be caused by poor adjustment of the clutch and cable and or the wrong oil

Thanks for the answer Dave. :-) What clutch did you buy? And did you also renewed the metal plates?
The whole kit yes - oem.

Hi Dave.did you allready fix this?? I have the same problem, see my vid.
And i have the same problem. How much cost new clutch for 954??
How does this show the clutch is slipping?
.: Freddy G' :. Pressure plates are so worn-out that is not disengaging the clutch from the engine after is in gear
