How does one start working with a supplier?
Have to ask a newbie question, I just signed up for a JS account and started my initial research and I'm trying to understand the opportunity finder. I had a full business planned and mapped out in my head but when I search the product, only one thing stands out (competition): "very high". I understand there can be ways around this-branding, unique marketing/offering etc but if you see (competition) "very high", is that a huge red flag right off the bat?
The competition might be very high, but you must also consider the demand. If the demand is ample for all the sellers selling, it shouldn't be a deal breaker. Since you have the tools, I suggest adding the ASIN to the Tracker to validate the demand.

What if our item needs two or more different materials such a part A that is metal and part B that is plastic and we only find them via separate suppliers on Alibaba? Do we then go to someone like Jing and they help us put A &B together along with packaging etc?

It is a good video, but regarding Private labeling, you have not provided information on how to do private labeling and you haven't mentioned how difficult is to make a product private, you have to register and it costs hugely which is not recommended to small businesses.

Now I need to send him money before manufacture the product.

When any customer orders my product is he paying right there at that time?
if yes,then can I withdraw that money at the same time and send money to the supplier?!

Hi Yes this is the process for FBM/dropshipping however even though the customer pays, the money is retained by Amazon. They only pay out every two weeks

That is correct. Amazon only pays out every two weeks, this is standard so they can balance purchases, returns, fees and ads.
Let's say I found a product on alibaba that I want to sell. I check amazon and there is already a listing for this product. What's my next step? Do i create my own brand name for the product and sell it on my own listing or do I just get approval from the brand?
I suggest also checking if the product is trademarked. If it is, you need to seek approval from the brand owner before you can list it. 😉

We recommend it for unique products, but it can be skipped for anything normal or in the public domain

How can I change product's SKU from manufacturer barcode to amazon barcode so I can send shipment to amazon using Amazon barcode?
You'll need to list the product with the SKU to obtain the FNSKU and ASIN. Once you list and create a shipping plan, you'll get those labels!

Are you selling a product currently on Amazon? If yes, you would list as an additional seller on the same listing. If you are selling a product that is brand new, the manufacturer's SKU may not work as it's their own numbering system. You'll need a 'new' SKU from GS1.org. Can you plz help my all listing photos are all great so much money I spent on photos quality and advertisement but my product are not selling I even terribly listing of same product like me with poor photos and less accessories but still there products selling very good but min not selling only few sale in a month what can be wrong here ? For you to know if there are any restrictions with the product, you need to create a listing first before ordering from the supplier.
