What questions do you still have? Leave them here & we’ll be sure to answer them! 💻😄
does jungle scout software work just as well if your from the uk ?
Thank you guys so much!!
I actually have a question that is still confusing me. As i spoke to some manufacturers, some asked me if I had custom clearance. I live in canada and I am really new to all this. I learned that there's DDP, does that mean Ill be avoiding custom clearance when I choose DDP Shipments? Thanks again!
Because not everyone is an ahole and some people enjoy making other’s successful
The amount of time and effort the jungle scout team has put into making and editing this video is commendable. Great work guys!
Thank you so much for the kind words! 🧡
Super thanks!!! The way you showed us in 1:51:30 about shipping is good!
We are glad you liked it! 😊
The best video on amazon learning from a to z informative right to the point exceptional keep doing the good work
This is really great for beginner, thank you very much for making this video. :)
You're most welcome! We're so glad you enjoyed it 😊
I just want to say, this is the best video on FBA I have ever seen. Amazing job on this, guys.
Thank you so much for the feedback! 🙌
@@junglescout my pleasure!
Your videos seem like they are exactly what I need to actually understand how and what to do to create my Amazon store. I'm so excited! I'm actually printing out the How to Sell guide now. I'm a hard-copy kind of person. (On paper is better for me to avoid blue light when possible)
I whatched the entire video, thank you so much for a pretty valueble info.
Hey! Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed the content! 🙂
This is great information
just watched your video, very informative and explains step by step all the basics of starting up as an amazon seller - thank you. One question - where do you take your amazon sales data when you calculate sales in the past or estimated sales? I guess I am more interested in the first part - where if we look at historical sales data of specific listing - is it real sales data or estimation according to BSR? thanks
Hiya it's a combination of both! It depends which tool of ours you are using since you can connect your account and view your data in our seller tools or estimates through our API with Amazon in other areas
Thank you!!
Couple questions:
1. A supplier sent as a couple samples to our home via UPS. Also quoted Air shipping via UPS for bulk order. Can we just have supplier ship directly to our home then send in to amazon without using the freight forwarder? Size of the product is small so a couple hundred units will probably be a couple medium boxes.
2. Can our actual product have our company url printed or etched on it?
3. Is there a limit on how many items can be sent to amazon for the first time under the paid seller plan?
1. Yes, this is completely fine!
2. We do not recommend that, however, you can add an insert to your product's packaging - www.junglescout.com/blog/amazon-product-packaging-inserts/
3. There shouldn't be any limits for new sellers, but it would be best to verify that with the seller central support
This website is 100% accurate. It is a must to purchase for whoever is tired to have 9-5 jobs. These guys taught us what they know and I personally appreciate them and the whole jungle scout team. The blue eyed gentleman has the most beautiful smile BTW. also, I had to watch the whole video 3-4 times . cause its very detailed.
Thank you so much for the feedback, #freedombuilder! 🙌
Love you, guys. Good job
Thanks for that lovely comment! Happy holidays!
Hands down, one of the most comprehensive and fun to watch tutorials on youtube on Amazon FBA selling for starters. What would I need to do to sell in the US market as an international seller? LLC, TM, Brand Registry etc. Thanks again!

Thank you for upgrading the How to Sell on FBA video. It's a nice refresher. Question: Can both the UPC and FNSKU appear next to each other on the packaging? For example, we want to sell the item on AMZ and on other channels but we don't want to print two separate sets of packaging (one with only the FNSKU for AMZ and one with only the UPC for other sales channels).
Hello @anthonyengel4278 great question! 😎
You need to swap your UPC with an FNSKU.
In case you're not ready or interested in getting a trademark yet, it's best to purchase a new GS1 UPC for that product/variation, but if you are going to trademark in the near future, you could probably get away with a third-party code in the interim while you wait.
If it's going to be longer, though, your safest bet is to go with a GS1 code.
And to swap out your UPC code for an FNSKU, you would first get the UPC from GS1, to get the FNSKU codes. In case you haven't seen this particular tutorial, here is a link to the step-by-step process of how to get that FNSKU:

I hope this helps! 😄
CAN A NIGERIAN DO IT WITHOUT COLLEGE DEGREE?.
@@BASKETBALL_UNI Absolutely! The best part about Amazon is that there are NO requirements to being successful 🚀
Very informative video! As I have narrowed in on one product and am ready to reach out to potential suppliers on Alibaba, my question is this: a lot of the products they are manufacturing are clearly being sold as private label on AMZ. When I describe the "improvement" and innovation I want them to potentially create for me, is there a risk that they may want to introduce this brilliant idea to their existing buyers that are already established on AMZ? I just wouldnt want them to say screw this nobody, let's see if our existing customers want to introduce a new line since we have a working relationship with them. Thanks!
You can add that to the agreement.
great step by step video, i have a question regardign the launch phase, dou yiu suggest running ppc straight away when launching or wait for some reviews to come?
any recommended ppc strategy?
You can check out these best practices for that: www.junglescout.com/blog/amazon-ppc-best-practices/
Hi. This is the best video I have watched so far. You guys blew it all up. Nice works.
If I register as an individual, is there a limit on how many products I can sell per month on Amazon?
So, for individual seller accounts they're allowed to sell less than 40 units each month.

Thank you very much for all the information you provide!
I have a question I have been asking myself for a while.
For someone living in Asia and planning to do online business to sell in the European and US market.Where would you suggest to open a company? In Europe, US or Hong Kong ?
Also if someone want to open a LLC in US , as there are different laws for each state, which place would you recommend ?

Would you recommend putting your brand name on a product before brand registry? If no, why?
Wow! Jungle Scout seems way user friendly, why on earth is everyone banging on about H10 then.

Kindly make videos on recent updates on amazon for example account deactivation , account in review and invoices submitted but amazon saying need more information.

Great suggestion! I'll definitely pass this over to our Content Team. 😉
hi, thank you for this detailed video. more power to you guys! Regarding Amazon global logistics, is it offered in the US only? I am in Canada and planning to sell here in Canada. thank you!
At this time, AGL is currently shipping from mainland China and Hong Kong to the US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain only.sell.amazon.com/programs/amazon-global-logistics
shot to the point
Working with a USA based supplier who is handling all the shipping (ie. Dropshipping within the USA)... Do I need to add an FNSKU? Also, is there anything else I should be aware of when shipping out myself vs. utilizing FBA (ie. Mandatory UPC on packaging, rules/regulations with shipping time, etc.)?
Thanks!
For FBM, you don't need the FNSKU, as you will be storing and shipping the product yourself. We have a great article here www.junglescout.com/blog/how-to-sell-on-amazon-fbm/
Great tutorial, about the packaging the item would be placed inside a box and I understand the box would have an FNSKU number but if I'm ordering 100 items and each one has FNSKU number but then 20 of them are placed in a larger box with shipping information on the box, What does the larger box need to have on it besides shipping information? does it need FNSKU number as well.
FNSKU is placed on product packaging. The boxes sent need to have the FBA labels instead. Here's a video that can guide you on this; ua-cam.com/video/cm3n57tVsSY/v-deo.html
Hey guys. I’m amazed with your videos and the JS tool. I’m using it for the last 6 month and I’m having kind of analysis paralysis you mentioned many times. I’m curious, you make these guide videos to promote the tool or to educate people? I’m giving up after almost half of year of researching but your guides and filters… I did find some good products by all the criterias but I can’t make a choice… can’t really decide if the product is good enough to push it into the market, im worry that this niche and product I found just now is already found by so many people like me, scouting, and they are on the stage of completing deal with the supplier… so many thoughts that disturb me. Do you make any individual or group courses? How to deal with that feeling that someone already working on the idea I have just found? P/s if my English is not correct I am sorry, not native
We are creating our videos to educate people! And we are afraid that as of now, we do not have individual courses, but we do offer the Freedom Builder Bootcamp course for those who are seriously thinking about selling on Amazon. You can review it on our pricing page here: www.junglescout.com/pricing/
Hey Jungle Scout, very insightful vid! I was wondering if my product (polarized sunglasses) needs to pass FDA and Drop tests?

Hellle one more question, as i can see in the video that GS1 needs a blank Brand Name to be filled, but what if I am trying to register my brand later on due to budget?
Thank you so much 🐱
You can put the name you intend to use later!
Thoughts on medium demand, low/medium competition products? Is there room to be successful there?
Definately! There are many roads to success 😍
Great video! This has helped me a lot, I just have a couple questions as of now: Do you need to contact a freight forwarder even if you agree to a DDP quotation with your supplier? Should the Amazon shipping label be applied to the product packaging or the box it will be shipped to Amazon in?
Nope! Your DDP through your supplier will get your product through all the way
great video. thanks for sharing, i would like to ask about the difference numbers of sales in the last month on amazon pages itself as amazon show and the number of monthly sales in jungle scout extantion tools, ( the difference sometimes are huge, for example 1000 vs 5000 sales ) there is big difference in many products, can you explain this differences and to whom should i belive ?
Hi! That's two different sets of data, Amazon is not calculating the same way we do. We base our calculations on our live feed to Amazon.
can you explain the difference? amazon shows last 30 days' sales, what other calculation you are making ? @@junglescout
Hi there! Jungle Scout uses a product's Best Seller Rank (BSR) within its primary category to estimate sales and revenue. However, if Amazon does not assign a BSR to certain items, then there will be no Estimated Sales or Revenue data available for those products.
But it steel doesn't explain the big difference in products that have a BSR attached, so you are saying your estimation are based from the BSR number and not from actual sales as amazon show ? if saw how come there are in jungle scout extantion products with better BSR but with less sales ? can you explain please @@junglescout
Would you mind sending us some examples?
valuable video, i have a question regarding product insert, how to create a cupon/discount code for the next purchase in the product insert?
You can create different types of coupons on seller central, and you can look up either a percentage off or a single-use discount set by you. You will have to add a deadline for the coupon code to be used, though!
I set up my account and selected 'No' for 'Do you own a brand?' in the seller account registration info (under an Individual account). At 1:08:43, you said to click 'Yes' for this question. Since I clicked 'No', will this affect my ability to sell private label products as shown in this video? Is it even possible to change it to 'Yes'?
I believe that you can still edit this option in the future. You also have an option to upgrade your Seller account to the Professional from Individual.
Great video!
Hey! Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed the content! 🙂
How much total fees did you guys have to pay to buy the product and to get it shipped to the Amazon warehouse? and how much did Amazon charge you? and for how many units
You can check out this article for more info about FBA fees: www.junglescout.com/blog/amazon-fba-fees/
Could you clarify, who does the editing of images (i.e. infographics) would this be the also be the photographers you find on AMZ? Thank you!
You can do it yourself if you know how to do that! If you don't then you can find a freelancer that will be able to help you with that 🙌
Thank you for detailed video. It is very helpful. One question I've is, while setting up the shipment from the seller to here in US, can i split the order so half of it goes straight to Amazon warehouse and half comes to me at my house? If so, how can that be done? What is the logistics behind the setup? Thank you again.
Hello! This would depend on your supplier/shipped. It may cost more to split inventory and create two shipping destinations. It might be better to sipp all the inventory to you, and then you can create a shipping plan and send in only what you want to Amazon!
Ahhh you'll have to go on Amazon's own seller Central to draft shipping plans because of how they assign warehouses. You can create a draft there and then delete it :)
Hi team! On 1:24:00 you mention you don't need a trademark to start selling on Amazon, but what if I already have a brand name, it just isn't registered yet. Does that mean my product boxes cannot have the logo printed on them? I'm in the middle of manufacturing my product, already got the UPC barcodes but I'm stuck at listing products because of this *Brand Name* field on Amazon, don't know what to do on my case. Thank you for your time and support, this video is already helping a lot with the process!
Hi there! You can use the brand name you have, letting Amazon know it's in the process of being registered :) This way you can start now and finish the process later while having your logo and brand name registered and applied to your product!
From the RFQ template, am I requesting a sample to decide if I want to sell the product, then ordering a trial of 500 to be shipped to an Amz warehouse, followed by (hopefully) several thousand more? I was a little confused on that process. Definitely don't want to receive 500 units to my home address.
Yes, you want to get the physical product before deciding to go for it. 😉 You can also use the same to take live photos for your listing.
But can we request to send us 1 sample to our home address and not 500?
Thanks for the video but I have a question…
Instead of having the suppliers ship to Amazon and incurring fees for storage etc, wouldn’t it be more cost effective to just have them deliver the items to my home and store them myself? All these Amazon costs are really putting me off doing it that way…
I’m not saying I’m not going to sell through Amazon, but if I store the stock myself I wouldn’t have more freedom to sell on other platforms and through my own website surely?
Thanks for any response to this and again, thanks for the great video :-)
That's also one way to put at it, but your house might be overcrowded if you have like 500 pcs of inventory, right?
very good video but one question: you said that we can also work with AGL, so my question is that in the category "create a shipping plan in celler central" do you explain that there or do you explain something else there?
We have a great article guide on this here! www.junglescout.com/blog/shipping-to-amazon-fba/
Okay, but are you explaining (there in that Category) how I can ship my order to an Amazon warehouse with AGL or are you explaining something else there?
It is explaining the process in general whether you are using AGL or other freight forwarders
I have 3 question:
1. Lets say I buy rings from Ali Express for example and then I create a logo with a QR code and print it out as a thank you card. Does that mean I am in a private label business or I have to create my own item from 0?
2. Does Amazon require any certification or license for private label items?
3. If I choose "I'm an individual" business type. Would Amazon let me switch to private label in the future?
Thank you and if my English is hard to understand, just discard my comment 😅🤪
Here are my answers:
1. You don't have to create your own item from 0. And yes, that's a private-label business.
2. Yes, it depends on the category. www.junglescout.com/blog/amazon-restricted-categories/
3. Yes, the business type can be changed in the future.
a question where does EXW belong in the profit calculator sheet in the landed cost box?
You can incorporate that in the Shipping Cost
Thank you for this tutorial its really good, I have a question, when I chose to send my first shipment I chose manufacturer barcode but I labeled the products with amazon barcode, how can I change it from manufacturer barcode to amazon barcode of this existing shipment that is about to reach amazon warehouse, can you plz help by telling me how
We recommend contacting Seller Central support for further assistance since your shipment is already on it's way to the FBA Fulfillment Center.
So my question fnsku is sticked on the product box in which the product is and on fnsku should be written made in china
2, and gsin upc is only for listing don’t have to stick in product box or outside big box
3. Come the outside box in which multiple boxes of the product are stored. So on the big box we just stick the Amazon seller center adress right
That's right! Amazon provides you with all the labels you'll need for your items and storage cartons when you make a shipping plan!
Hi, nice work JS, love this video and signed up for the suite tier going to try it out in the new year. Question, when registering the amazon seller account from canada, I chose myself as a "business" seller instead of "individual" seller, whereas I''ve only registered as a sole proprietorship, does it matter? Thanks!
Do you already have a LLC?
@@junglescoutthanks for the reply! Im in Canada and only registered sole proprietorship..!
I believe that you can actually change that.
@@junglescout Thanks for the reply! Do you know how to do that? Is "individual" seller the correct category?
You need to contact Seller Central support to update your business entity details.
When dealing with delivering. Is it 3 major destinations? 1. From manufacturer to port, then from port origin to USA port destination, then to FBA warehouse. Is this correct?
That is correct! 🙌
Fantastic video! I just have a few questions regarding the email template for the manufacturers if you don’t mind answering.
1. When you say “identical product” for the reference product link, does this mean it should be from the same manufacturer being emailed, or just generally the same product?
2. With the “product specification” on the email template, what are the dimensions referencing to?
3. With the “product specification” section, what should be included in the “customer research innovation details?”
Hey Jude! 👋Can you please specify what particular email template you're referring to?🤔
@@junglescoutOh I apologize, it is the one shown at 48:06 containing the initial questions to ask when contacting manufacturers
Thanks for clarifying that. So first, the same product that is created by the manufacturer. Next, the actual dimensions of the Product you're inquiring about. 😉 This will help you have a ballpark figure of the shipping fee. Lastly, the customer innovation refers to your target market any details that you need to indicate there.
@@junglescout Thank you so much!

I followed the steps for creating a listing however, I created 2 listings instead of 1 with a variation.
Is there a way to make one of the listings a 'child'/variation and the other the parent without having to create a completely new listing with a variation and generating all new ASINs?
Basically is there a way to merge current listings and make one of the listings a variation to the original?
You have to reach out to Seller Support on Amazon to be able to merge them!
Thank you for the amazing video but i have a question..How come you create the listing of a product that you haven't yet ordered?
You won't be able to unless you have all the details or you are listing on an existing listing!
How would you suggest going about structuring my store if, I have several products that are completely unrelated to one another by category definition? Let's say for the purpose of demonstration, I have identified 3 underserved categories like, Adult incontinence, dog beds, and educational toys for toddlers. Should I create completely separate accounts/stores? Is it beneficial to have separate accounts for each disparate product, Or should I just focus on a specific market and dominate that with products for that vertical and forget about the others?
Jungle Creations, our Bran, sells a variety of products, from Marshmellow sticks to hooded baby towels and even dog pee pads!
When creating plan, at a step where u mark the product as shipped, can you leave that page and come back to fill it up once the product actually gets shipped?
You should be able to fill in and leave a page up, but the best thing to do is to fill it all at once when everything is ready
Hello, thanks to you, I came to the product production stage, but there was a big problem. Did you get a Cspc certificate in the first production when you were selling baby products?
Yes, as manufacturers and importers of children's products must certify, in a written Children's Product Certificate (CPC) based on test results from a CPSC-accepted laboratory, that their children's products comply with applicable children's product safety rules.
Do you recommend using other software alongside jungle scout or is JS sufficient? I'm thinking software like seller amp, keepa, buybotpro etc.

question #1. can we sell on amazon fresh frozen food or fresh food like for example a special diet? and if yes what's are the requirements, and how?
We do have a great article that can guide you here -www.junglescout.com/resources/articles/how-to-sell-groceries-on-amazon/
When printing the FNSKU right on the packaging, do you need the text under it that shows on the sticker format? Or can you only have the barcode and the numbers under it?
Just the bar code and the numbers under it will do.
Hi, one more question! To display country of origin, does it have to be in or on, attached on the product as well as on the packaging? For example, if my product is a bag, can it be just on the packaging with the FNSKU barcode? or is it mandatory that it is in the tag or something that is attached to the product? I noticed some other youtubers just put it with the FNSKU in the packaging and not on the product itself. Could you clarify this for me? I appreciate your support and diligence to always answer questions.
I found this seller forum that might help: sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-forums/discussions/t/2f7d448679da243fce873b6bb033bd2d
Hi,
First of all thank you for this valuable video
I actually have few questions:)
I went through many articles regarding AGL program and I need to Clarify some points:
- Is it only for registered Companies (LLCs)?
- In the onboarding process at some point it says Company name (I am selling as individual /professional seller NOT a Company), my
question is what would I put in the company name in this case ? (My first and last name?)
For business entity : should I put my First and Last name?
As Individual Not a company , Am I considered as sole proprietor business type?
- For the importer of record (IOR) form should I put my own name ? BTW I live in Canada and intend to sell on Amazon USA Market as Private Label
- Off topic question :) since my product is a customized private label product is it possible to ask the supplier to send me the sample of customized product which should have my Logo affixed to the product and or to the Package in order to check quality as well as take picture for the listing ? and how much they usually ask for the Customized sample
Thank you in advance
Have you checked the AGL guide already? If not, then we recommend checking it here: m.media-amazon.com/images/G/01/sell/pdf/Getting_started_with_Amazon_Global_Logistics_guide.pdf?ref_=sdus_soa_agl_dl_cta2&initialSessionID=time%3D2082787201l&ld=NSGoogle_dl_pdf_agl&ldStackingCodes=NSGoogle%3ESCXXWPDirect%3ENSGoogle%3ESCXXWPDirect%3ENSGoogle
And yes, your supplier should be able to send you a sample of the product they customized for you!
Great job guys👍
Two questions i got:
1) For AMZ arbitrage(bulk, online or retail), do i need an LLC or can i start as an "individual" without EIN?
2) For arbitrage do i need a "reseller license" from the state?
Thank you for your assistance🙏
You can start as an individual! Depending on your state law you may need additional documents. The best thing to do is to consult a lawyer for further clarification!
Thank you for the response😊@@junglescout
Isnt it a very big risk not getting your brand name trademarked as soon as possible since any other person might use the same name and trademark it before u?
When do you apply for IP accelerator, is it before you place your test order?
It's when you send in your inventory!
Another question when we gtin from gs1 is it says brand name and product description can I still right if I don’t have a brand
You may pick a brand name you intend to use for your product. It doesn't need to be the brand registered name or have a registered trademark, as you can do this down the line.
When adding the barcode to your product label, do you only need to include the barcode for Amazon or do you need the small word description as well?
Amazon's guidelines are constantly changing - For now it seems you need the FNSKU and the small word description as well
Thank u for the video but i have question. At 1:20:56, u mentioned that when one is doing private lablelling, they are selling a product that is not sold on amazon. I am a little confused there.
Some people choose to buy products, not make any changes and list the item. They are selling the 'same' item, we encourage you to make changes and list a new product!
can i upgrade to suite from basic and just pay the difference, or do i have to purchase suite as well?
Yes, you can upgrade the plan and our system will just charge you for the difference between the plans! 😊
Hi jungle scout, I’m halfway through the process and loving this video! Question: One of my possible suppliers asked “the detailed address in order to give a DDP quotation”, how should I respond/know that information?
I believe that this article will be able to help you with that: www.junglescout.com/blog/shipping-to-amazon-fba/
Great Video nice work my friend
Hey! Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed the content! 🙂
Great video. Trying to get familiar with your estimator site, seems like a great tool. Just wondering for a product in category fashion, where does that fall under in your estimator site, can't find any fashion category there, but Amazon has the category as fashion. Any help would be great, thanks.
I'm so sorry, we currently don’t support the fashion category which is why you're not finding it on the Sales Estimator
Thank you very much for all this information!! I currently have a dropshipping website running a self proprietor and I'm considering Amazon FBA. Do you know if I can use my current business to run an Amazon business or do I need to open an LLC business account to be able to sell on Amazon?
Our pleasure! You can use your current self-proprietor business to run an Amazon business, you don't need to open an LLC business account
Thank you for your response!, also the time and effort to put all of this together for us!! Greatly appreciate it!!
You're more than welcome!😍🙌🙏
Is it allowed to use watermark on secondary product images?
It depends on the license. If the image is in the public domain, you can do whatever you like with it, and you will own the copyrights of the final product (with the modifications on it).
Does the jungle scout chrome extension include opportunity finder and product tracker with the all 3 plans?
Yes, all three of our plans: Basic, Suite and Professional, have access to the Product Tracker, Opportunity Finder and Extension.
I am a general dentist and most products I recommend to my patients are on amazon. What would the best route to monetize this? I was thinking a storefront, but I am not thinking an affiliate storefront. Please let me know what you think!
!
I think it's more convenient to be an affiliate than to create your storefront. It's less than a hassle.
Great video, very informative. If I’m a U.S. citizen but currently living overseas, where should I set up/register my LLC, in America or in the nation that I’m currently in?
You will always want to set up an LLC in the country you intend to sell in. It helps establish and import the goods as you'll have accounts and information set up in the country you intend to sell in
guys please do you have any video about AGL and the steps for doing it? Thanks
We have a great blog post that elaborates on AGL: www.junglescout.com/resources/articles/amazon-global-logistics/
I am a new individual seller. Do you suggest setting up FBA or FBM to begin with ?
It is a case to case basis, so it is best to watch this video to know more about the pros and cons of FBA and FBM: ua-cam.com/video/qSnfGUKNDUQ/v-deo.html
Hope it'll help you decide.
Hi, great video! I want to sell in the US market but I am from the UK. What do I put in the Business location when setting up my Amazon seller account? If I need to put the UK, when and where do I tell Amazon that I want to sell in the US? Thanks guys!
You can still put the UK as where you're physically located. I believe the option to sell in the US will still be available for you.
If i make improvements on a product, should i include an agreement in the supplier template that states that t
"The supplier should not manufacture my improved product" to other sellers"?
You definitely should!
what is the difference between a UPC barcode and an FNSKU barcode? and do I need both?
The difference is that a UPC can be used in every store or online marketplace, whereas the FNSKU is unique to Amazon only. We have a great article that explains here - www.junglescout.com/blog/amazon-fnsku-guide/
Hi, regarding the packaging, Environmental labels are required? Thanks a lot.
You can check the Packaging requirement through this link: sellercentral.amazon.com/ap/signin?openid.pape.max_auth_age=0&openid.return_to=https%3A%2F%2Fsellercentral.amazon.com%2Fhelp%2Fhub%2Freference%2F200141500&openid.identity=http%3A%2F%2Fspecs.openid.net%2Fauth%2F2.0%2Fidentifier_select&openid.assoc_handle=sc_na_amazon_v2&openid.mode=checkid_setup&language=en_US&openid.claimed_id=http%3A%2F%2Fspecs.openid.net%2Fauth%2F2.0%2Fidentifier_select&pageId=sc_na_amazon_v2&openid.ns=http%3A%2F%2Fspecs.openid.net%2Fauth%2F2.0&ssoResponse=eyJ6aXAiOiJERUYiLCJlbmMiOiJBMjU2R0NNIiwiYWxnIjoiQTI1NktXIn0.MMejsVgNnHcC3A05VbhSOBGjeyjYvShbsnKSQcng_Bm-_RUJ2VSqnQ.ywo9j35Vd6ZT_sJ6.zctPiPz8i95A70AOtwTN_Z1vdfsxrPwrjZhIkXspSIy3768PhpbjQFWZbsLOfrfMvtLHwm6XA9Cx9v3ngE4XP1CoZq0BN3EIHgJYyQNxfCuX6IQM2atRlMlgB9a6uHKPtIP2Q_KCo73X5meReCj5KLGQnAxx8Y2ueXq-zZ8icva1cCF92_zj2cYRZmDbXG0PMGjNGuSicD6j.ts6xrLIUWuzjhx75PNLrJw
thanks a lot @@junglescout :)
No worries! 🧡
Im confused on which step should come first. Should I create my listing in seller central BEFORE I submit my purchase order to my Alibaba supplier? This is needed for the supplier to know which Amazon warehouse to ship to, correct?
Yes, it would have to be done simultaneously
@@junglescout So does my listing in seller central sit in a "draft" status until the product arrives at Amazon? Then I'll flip it to active?
That's right, you won't be able to activate it until product is scanned in and stocked
If I ship from the manufacturer straight to the Amazon website, how do I attach an SKU to every item for postage to the consumer?
You'd send your SKU information to your supplier to apply!
around1:12:55, you say that the trademark registration takes a 1-2 years, and therefor one can not get approved for amazon brand registry until the trademark is registered. And then add if one uses amazon ip accelerator program, they won't need to wait for the trademark to be registered and they can instantly apply for amazon brand registry. The service that amazon provides in the ip accelerator program are around 600-700 dollars to register for a trademark, whereas if one does the registration themself with USPTO, it will cost ~$250. I thought you can apply and get approved for amazon brand registry program even with a pending trademark. So, therefore you can apply for the trademark yourself and then apply for amazon brand registry with a pending trademark. Would you please clarify on this?
I believe that you can apply fro brand registry even when you have a pending trademark application. You can check out this article to know more: brandservices.amazon.com/brandregistry/faq
@@junglescout I see, thank you for responding.
No worries!🧡
REALLY happy to see you didn't run with the Reusable Adult Diapers!
There's always next time! 😉
i loved this vedio and found it really helpfull ..One question i live in pakistan and want to sell products in us so can i do that by being in asia? and would it effect my buisness and what about the advertisemet in us from asia ..thank you
Hi there! Glad you enjoyed the video - you can source items from anywhere to sell in the USA :) You can do all the things like selling and advertising no matter where you are in the world!
@ i just got jungle scout suit plan , and i saw ppc there , can i skip that or it automatically subscribe ? i dont relly want ppc right now so
Yeah, you can skip that step and add it once you have an active PPC campaign.
Also, when you contact the supplier and give dimensions how do you know the dimensions if you never had the product on hand ? How do you reference that?
The supplier should know the dimensions since they will be manufacturing the product for you 😊
Hi, does the product have to be approved by amazon if using fba
Humm, why has JS not replied to your question!? perhaps they do respond to their own bots?
What's the best place to get product pictures from? Is it better to get the product shipped to you from china first and then ship it to someone from fiverr and have them do it? Or, have the product shipped to a photographer within china and have them do it? (this will save shipping and time) please advise
I suggest getting the product to you first before sending it to the photographer.
Very interesting video. Does all your advice apply for other countries? E.g. Mexico.
It does! All our advice can be applied to other marketplaces, including Mexico. You would just need to adjust to the size of the Mexican marketplace
If I hire a freight forwarder, why or do I even need to hire an inspector. Or is the freight forwarder doing the inspection AFTER the product is made?
Most of the time, you will need to hire an inspection company. However, there might be freight forwarders who can do an inspection for you as well
I have another question and need help - I went ahead and bought UPC code from GS1 - around 10 of them and now trying to list the product on Amazon but its giving me error 8572. Does the name i registered on GS1 should match what I list on Amazon?
I haven't registered the company so I am putting it as Generic on Amazon while GS1 allowed me to use any name so I used my company name (which i will register later as). Is this the reason of error?
The product ID is associated with a brand that you are not authorized to sell. To resolve error 8572, you will need to provide Amazon with proof that you are the authorized seller of the product and that the product ID is correct. You can do this by submitting a GS1 product authentication certificate.
Thank you for the helpful content you created.
I want to start Amazon FBA from Canada. What is the equivalent of LLC in Canada? Or do I need to register LLC in USA from here? Is it possible?
The equivalent of an LLC in Canada would be an LLP 😊
@@junglescout thanks for your reply. But LLP needs at least two partners. What if I wanna start Amazon FBA on my own without a partner
LLC/LLP is not required and you may start as a sole proprietor. You can choose "I'm an individual" as the Business Type when creating a Seller Central account.
This is such a great video. Thankyou so much! I have a question though, I am an Australian who is intending to sell my product through Amazon USA via FBA. If and when I decide to trademark my brand name, should I do so via the Australian Government, USA or both? Tia :) - Melody
You should get the Trademark in the US if you're planning to sell there.
thankyou!@@junglescout
Question. When creating a new listing is it ok to copy the top competitor listing using copy from feature?
Replicating another seller's unique product description or bullet points, word-for-word, violates Amazon copyright TOS.
@@junglescout Yes I understand that. But what I meant was copy the listing, get FNSKU and later change to your own titles and bullet points etc at least that way you get the correct category as well
I believe that each seller has their own FNSKU too,
