    This 25 Minute Barre video will tone and strengthen your legs. Grab a pair of ankle weights and a sturdy chair. I would suggest starting at no more than 5lbs per leg!     Postnatal friendly you may just want to go super light on the ankle weights (1-2 pounds) or make it bodyweight ❤️ Be sure to keep a neutral spine/don’t dip the tummy and put pressure on the low back & linea alba tissue when we go into a quadruped position

    I've been loving these ankle weight workouts! I danced my whole life growing up and now that I'm older my hips and knees have taken a beating and can't really handle the squat intensive workouts anymore. I hope you make more of these types of videos! Ive lost 10 lbs following your workouts and making healthier eating choices :)

    Holy cow this was tough! But I loved it! Always amazes me how well simple 5 pound ankle weights can really work the legs! Definitely a keeper. That first series of standing with the chachas and other moves; my standing leg was on fire too! 🥵 😅

    This time did 2 pound ankle weights plus a medium weight resistance band on the thighs the whole time. Very good workout

    I did this workout without ankle weights while watching a show and it was great! I'm building up to doing this with 2 lbs weights. Those little pulses kill me

    I don’t have ankle weights so I used a mini band. It worked out great! I never know if I’m doing that sitting, side lift right though lol

    The ankle weight workouts are great! I would love to see a longer workout with them (30-40 min), as well as a whole-body workout which includes them.

    is it normal to feel it also in the opposite leg? Or am I moving wrong?

      You will definitely feel the standing leg since it is stabilizing the body. Use the chair to brace and keep the standing hip as still as possible during most of the movements. Keeping the core tight and low back neutral should also help 😀

    Is it better buying 5 lbs or 10 lbs? Generally i have strengths at the legs

      I would personally opt for the 10 lb adjustable weights - you can make them 5 or even lighter if needed. If the five pound weights are too easy then you would then have the option to make them heavier. It’s more of a personal preference! Hope this helps ❤️
