I think these aggro leaks have also been an expression of the fanbase's excitement, honestly. The original Switch surprised us and then suddenly became the best Nintendo console ever, and now the sequel is around the corner and we definitively KNOW they're not gonna be weird about it and just ride the wave to even greater heights so... Anticipation is through the roof rn.
My anticipation is up but so are my nervs, Nintendo is great at messing a good thing up with bad PR - but on the other hand this could easily be their best console launch ever if they play it right. On the other hand, every launch title could be some variation like "Tears of the Kingdom, Deluxe edition!" and then it'll be another 2 years before the real launch with title people care about. OLED by default and hall effect joysticks and I'll actually be impressed with it to use it in handheld mode this generation. Tbh I was never much of a portable switch fan, mostly because the joycons suck balls after 3 months when they start drifting and the screen sucks.
@@uponeric36 It's very easy for them to screw it up, but Nintendo's learned their lesson from the Wii U era, because what you're describing is just the Wii U's launch. I have high hopes for the launch, because Nintendo doesn't really screw them up, outside of the Wii U. All I'm really concerned about is if stick drift is going to be an issue, and if the switch 2 will be backwards compatible. if it's backwards compatible, then I'd be fully satisfied.

@@bracken8782 To be fair, Nintendo has a history of getting a big-headed after a huge success and proceeding to get sloppy and repeating old mistakes. We've been seeing it for a few years now after the success of the Switch. It will NOT surprise me if they don't strike the iron while it's hot this time around. Also, I am still a 100% sure that the Switch will be backwards compatible. Every single Nintendo console since the Wii has been backwards compatible (and the ones that came before weren't only because of drastic format evolution). I find it baffling that this is even a remotely popular concern lol.
@@itsasecrettoeverybody They didn't. It's an inherent weakness in the design. It is possible the sticks were made more durable but the design weakness is still there. It depends on usage though. The metal contacts effectively scratch the carbon tracks, eventually removing the carbon coating and preventing reliable contact. There's not a lot that can be done to fix this without a complete redesign. Also, Nintendo don't make the sticks. I think they might be Alps like all the regular stick modules found in other controllers but I'm not sure.
To be fair, the 3DS at the end of the day didn't really look THAT different to the DS either. Depending on how the system actually looks when it's running (UI, menus, pleasefortheloveofgodgivemethemesagain, etc) the differences could be more pronounced
I feel like it's important to keep in mind we've technically only seen half the console. There have been no leaks of the Dock yet. The Dock could look vastly different or have a completely different docking system compared to the original that gives the Switch 2 a whole new vibe when docked.
Tbh imo no need to change anything in terms of design (oled as baseline); just better & a tad bigger screen (for handheld readability) with better grip for the joycons (for handheld usage comfortability) alongside generational performance upgrades are enough.
Steam deck seems extra chonky because the sticks are beside the d-pad/face buttons. The switch has them vertically which will make it seem smaller by default.

I was on board for last week for quite a while but it didn't come to pass, though we did get to see it for the first time I guess because of this leak lol. Don't think it's this week for the Echoes of Wisdom game release and the other stuff going on in the industry. I'm getting really impatient: now that we know pretty much for sure that it's pretty much just a better Switch and nothing ridiculously stupid, I'm just excited to see the line up they've got going on here and how the games run and look. I'd imagine they may have an impressive line up if that leak was true that the system was internally delayed.
Something new that I feel should be worth mentioning is that Nintendo very recently filed a new device with the FCC. It’s not a console or controller and it can only be plugged into something with a USB C port. Seeing the leaked photos with the extra port on the top and everything starts to come together

Well with a fresh coat of paint, the mystery of the extra usb c, and potential tweaks to the final design I think we're still in for the same level of surprise we were before. I remember an NX patent that looked exactly like the switch we got today and I was still shocked by the reveal so we'll see, I'm sure it will be revealed sometime next month.
It's for a link cable. Gotta be. Like the gameboys of old had. You and up to three other people can plug the switch into a USB hub and play locally. No wifi needed.

Tbh I thought the leaks were a little more real in that I heard the base switch 2 won't have OLED even. Kinda saving OLED as a premium (or pro style) model. And also not cannibalizing switch oled/not pissing off switch oled fans. Maybe this is cope bc I bought the Zelda OLED but I think Nintendo is aware how many freaks, like me, bought the switch (and thus switch oled) for Zelda.
Backwards compatibility At least on part with PS4 No major gimmicks that hinders gameplay. Those are my three wishes. Give me all three, and I'm happy.
My biggest wish. If it can only play Switch 2 games, I'm going to be very disappointed. Considering both Wii and WiiU could play games from the previous console, I think it's really likely.

Switch 2 reveal trailer next week on Thursday? Early October seems like the perfect time to unveil it. The two week space between it and Mario Party gives Mario Party enough time to be the center of attention as the release date approaches. It'll also be almost two months before the holiday season, allowing the general public to kinda forget about it so it doesn't conflict with sales
@@benji6325 it's highly unlikely it will be announced this year. Jan-march is likely when it will be announced. I believe Nintendo said they would reveal the system this FISCAL year for a reason.
It's more powerful than a Steam Deck, at least on paper, but since it's not a 1:1 to comparison because there are many variables in play, we really won't know how it stacks up until it's released. The best sources for information will likely be Gamers Nexus and Digital Foundry.

@@Dakr2000 Connecting a cord to the bottom when undocked is a little awkward. So if you want to play while charging the console from the wall or a battery bank, it can be more awkward to hold and it wouldn't be able to sit on a table with its kickstand while charging.
It looks so nice. I genuinely love the old switch. I have larger hands but not overly large and I despite that, I actually really liked the feel of joycons. Besides the drifting, the whole thing just felt so clean and was fun to hold. The same thing but just even cleaner is going to be so incredible
Nintendo was able to make Totk on essentially an extremely beefy Xbox 360. Imagine what they’ll do with a ps4 pro gpu with a strong cpu and hardware upscaling. The graphics are gonna be crazy
they have an internal plan already, so, i'm sure they're just gonna reveal it when everything is ready, they can't just magically whip it all up sooner because of the leaks (at least not *that* much sooner anyway). that being said the reveal is probably gonna be soon lol
They might be making a judgement call that taking stuff down would essentially verify it. I wouldn't be surprised if they're still tracking people down privately though
@@BloodRedFox2008Nintendo is usually the type to hold games that are already fully finished. They had many games from the switch they held. Mario RPG remake, paper Mario remaster, pikmen 4 to name a few they had finished years ago.
Theoretically Nintendo could be spreading false/old prototypes themselves to obscure what they are actually working on, thus the professional impression. I don‘t see why they would put resources into that though.
I think (am worried) that they don't want to reveal it until early next year to avoid it affecting Switch sales during the holiday season. With the Switch they weren't worried about affecting the Wii U because it was already dead, but the Switch is still going pretty strong, and I have no doubt they want to squeeze what money they can out of it this Christmas. If that's the case we might not get a release until late next year.
You might be right, but what they can also do is pair the announcement of the new console with a decently discounted price of the original switch for a last Christmas push. Oktober could be perfect to be well ahead of black friday. This might be a smarter strategy because apparently the switch finally isn't really selling anymore.
What all this has made me start thinking about is that people will unironically start using the term Switch 3 within the next few years or so which is absolutely insane to me, and Switch 2 Pro even sooner than that
Switch 2 is a code name. it was NX for the original switch. There'll be some new one for the 11th gen switch. God that feels weird to say. I also believe that the 11th gen will be nintendos final console, since thats pretty much the limit for specs.
@@continental_consumer I do think console releases may slow down, but never stop completely. Look at the iphone, they keep up the release schedule its just the improvements get smaller and smaller. Main consoles wont be able to improve as much as easily, but there's still a lot of room for improvement for something like the switch with hybrid capabilities. Because there's inherently less space to work with.

Fair to consider the Nintendo PR department approved harmless tidbits to "leak". Everyone knows it's going to LOOK similar. The real question is the guts. But leaks are fun, and there's a void of good news to fill with Sony and Microsoft tripping over themselves.
It'd be more of a bummer having the thing revealed if it were radically new. As far as I see, this kind of takes the sting off of the next console being more or less the same thing but slightly bigger so now it's just exciting to eventually see the actual games in action.
We know the Switch 2 is coming. The only way I see this not being real is if this is a prototype version and the final version ends up looking different. I mean, it could be fake, but why?
I've worked with IT and recycling computer parts for 3 years. It is pretty easy to fake a motherboard, just snatching one from a similar product trying to imitate the switch, cutting it apart to fit the 3d print and screing it on is a definite possibility. Still a little elaborate, but you really dont have to be a tech expert to fake this.

I feel like magnets moght be a bad idea. Because they'd have to be strong enough to stay on when holding it from just one. But that's too strong for a child or will cause too much force to be used pulling it apart.. i think they did really good with the original switch slides.
I think it could be an improvement tbh. The rails made the switch feel like more wobbly and less solid. There’s likely gonna be a button to release them like the og switch
@@christianr.5868 The rails were outright bad, you could put the joycon on it upside down and damage to locking mechanism, which was also plastic and wore from normal use anyways. So a few years down the line your joycons are loose.

The Nintendo Switch Lite back plate leaked during production before that console was announced in 2019. Nobody believed it at the time as it had no Logo print yet, perhaps for security purposes, and because Switch Pro rumours were rampant at the time. This has happened before.
I really liked what the leaks present as the console. Bigger screen, bigger joycon, extra usb-c, as someone who only plays handheld it's a home run in physical design for me. The real juicy info is going to be the games, interface and functionality. Very excited. Got some pennies set aside for it's release.
I wonder how this'll compare to the real deal. All things point this to being real. But this could also have a chance at being the Grinch Leak all over again, but on a much bigger scale. When the Grinch Leak came out, everyone believed it was real, saying "how could you fake this?" And this isn't the first time a Nintendo console leaked. We knew what the Switch was much before the thing was revealed. So it has happened before.
Doesn’t matter. I’ll be hyped off the planet when finally seeing the real reveal. Their music, design and joyful attitude, the love of what they do and how they present it is just special. Nintendo is a truly magical company. I know it’s just a business and they have problems like any other but they’ve given me some cherished memories I’ll always be thankful for. Both my parents are now in glory and I fondly remember waking up at midnight and walking toward their room at 5 or 6 years old to have them comfort my fears and tuck me back in bed only to stumble into a miraculous scene unfolding in the living room. The new NES we had gotten had captured all my hopes and dreams for the week or two we had it at this point. I spent days drooling over it while everyone else sat aside hardly paying attention. As I neared the end of the hallway I sensed something different. The lights were dim but not as dark as they should be and there was a faint noise of clicking accompanied by the sound of creaking pleather. The cigarette smoke in the air was fresh. As I reached the end and stepped into the light, I paused in silent amazement. It was midnight and my parents were awake playing the first Mario together. Their chairs were pulled all the way across the room, 3-4 ft from the giant CRTV. I knew in that moment that I wasn’t alone. They loved the system and Mario as much as I did. They were hooked. That night stands out in my mind as a special time when my parents were partners trying to work together to accomplish a goal and I was along for the ride. At least those moments when the NES light was on, we were a team. We spent countless hours passing the remote around the room until I finally beat 8-8 and freed Princess Toadstool. My dad and his youngest brother and I spent months learning Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out baddies and their tells so we could slowly progress, even leaving the system running day and night so we wouldn’t lose our progress. Even with all the frustration, blowing in the cartridge, pushing it down repeatedly in desperation, banging the side of the console, and buying cleaning kits with no real improvement, it was magical to me. My dad spent hours playing these games with me. My mom spent hours listening to me describe the game I would design. Now it’s my turn and the Nintendo Switch has been the best way to show my kids what my childhood was like at least in this one aspect, while encouraging them to work together, to be good sports and to share. We’ve made a lot of good memories. One of our favorites is Boomerang-Fu. We paid $4 for it on sale and all four of us jump and scream turning our house into a friendly competitive war zone for the def for a few minutes every couple weeks. It’s really terrific fun. My son and I have explored Hyrule side-by-side and advanced Mario’s mission to help Cappie save his sister. What a joy. Needless to say, I’m very thankful for the Switch and the games we play together on it. I’m thrilled for the next iteration for my own personal enjoyment and how it will undoubtedly bring my family together for a few healthy hours here and there each month for some fun memories. Anything that can do that is well worth the wait, the money, and has my sincere gratitude.
I would pay so much money if they have the 3DS menu system and something like Quick Resume from Xbox consoles. 3DS let me organize games into folders AND i can could choose how dense the folder grid is, thats vital for how many games are on Switch
Why do people think this leak will delay the system more? Every side of Nintendo’s business is eager for a hardware refresh so why would they delay it out of spite for a leak that only the terminally online will see?
Honestly 9/10, no matter how much I learn about somthing that leaked. I still get hyped from the official announcment because it's normally the first time seeing it in motion
My outlook on leaks like this is that they don't hurt the hype. Like when Nintendo comes out and reveals the Switch 2 and it turns out this was a real leak, I'll be hyped at the confirmation, because this looks great! It'd be cool for them to just get up in the spotlight and confirm a bunch of awesome stuff.
Completely unrelated to Switch 2, but I am super bummed that Echoes of Wisdom footage was in this video. I’ve been trying to keep things pretty spoiler-free for myself (only watched the first trailer), and even with only looking up occasionally, I had a huge reveal spoiled. Why not stick to older footage of games that have already been released? Now I either have to hide the screen or just not finish the video
So, these leaks are probably real, but I'm still waiting for a reveal that this "Switch 2" has some feature that the first Switch just doesn't have. Obviously it's going to be more powerful, but there has to be more than just that, right? Well, more power and those magnetic controller attachments.
It could easily be software related stuff. I think the Switch's software is in more dire need of an upgrade than the hardware itself - well, the *visual* part of the hardware, at least. If it has stuff like the themes, a better friend list, better voice chat integration and such it would be great because that's some QoL stuff that the Switch sorely needed from day one.
Ive read ps4 pro/ xbox series s like power. If thats the case im set. Yea, ps5 is nice And I've heard people complain that there is not enough power but I think they seem to forget we had some of the most gorgeous looking games on the base ps, 4 example red dead redemption 2. The last of us part two and horizon zero dawn All three of those games were ahead of their times graphically
@@ccaprice8595 Exactly. I have a PS5 and I genuinely don't really see any differences unless I place things side by side. We basically peaked with PS4, any improvements now are incremental. This might be the first generation in ages that Nintendo's hardware is actually better because the games look just as good and it's portable. Only real advantage PS5 has is the load times.

I was hoping for a little bit more of a redesign to give the console it's own identity, but I guess it it ain't broke don't fix it.
To be fair, the 3DS at the end of the day didn't really look THAT different to the DS either. Depending on how the system actually looks when it's running (UI, menus, pleasefortheloveofgodgivemethemesagain, etc) the differences could be more pronounced
I feel like it's important to keep in mind we've technically only seen half the console. There have been no leaks of the Dock yet.
The Dock could look vastly different or have a completely different docking system compared to the original that gives the Switch 2 a whole new vibe when docked.
Tbh imo no need to change anything in terms of design (oled as baseline); just better & a tad bigger screen (for handheld readability) with better grip for the joycons (for handheld usage comfortability) alongside generational performance upgrades are enough.

Steam deck seems extra chonky because the sticks are beside the d-pad/face buttons. The switch has them vertically which will make it seem smaller by default.

I work in engineering and I think the board photo is real... It just looks like it was engineered by professional developers, very hard to fake

Something new that I feel should be worth mentioning is that Nintendo very recently filed a new device with the FCC. It’s not a console or controller and it can only be plugged into something with a USB C port. Seeing the leaked photos with the extra port on the top and everything starts to come together

Well with a fresh coat of paint, the mystery of the extra usb c, and potential tweaks to the final design I think we're still in for the same level of surprise we were before. I remember an NX patent that looked exactly like the switch we got today and I was still shocked by the reveal so we'll see, I'm sure it will be revealed sometime next month.

Tbh I thought the leaks were a little more real in that I heard the base switch 2 won't have OLED even. Kinda saving OLED as a premium (or pro style) model. And also not cannibalizing switch oled/not pissing off switch oled fans.

Switch 2 reveal trailer next week on Thursday? Early October seems like the perfect time to unveil it. The two week space between it and Mario Party gives Mario Party enough time to be the center of attention as the release date approaches. It'll also be almost two months before the holiday season, allowing the general public to kinda forget about it so it doesn't conflict with sales

It's more powerful than a Steam Deck, at least on paper, but since it's not a 1:1 to comparison because there are many variables in play, we really won't know how it stacks up until it's released. The best sources for information will likely be Gamers Nexus and Digital Foundry.

Which makes handheld on a table much better then before where you had to stop to charge
@@Dakr2000 Connecting a cord to the bottom when undocked is a little awkward. So if you want to play while charging the console from the wall or a battery bank, it can be more awkward to hold and it wouldn't be able to sit on a table with its kickstand while charging.
This leak is more in line with the Switch Lite leak where it showed the plastic shell. That time no one believed it to be true but it was!
It looks so nice. I genuinely love the old switch. I have larger hands but not overly large and I despite that, I actually really liked the feel of joycons. Besides the drifting, the whole thing just felt so clean and was fun to hold. The same thing but just even cleaner is going to be so incredible

@@BloodRedFox2008Nintendo is usually the type to hold games that are already fully finished. They had many games from the switch they held. Mario RPG remake, paper Mario remaster, pikmen 4 to name a few they had finished years ago.
Theoretically Nintendo could be spreading false/old prototypes themselves to obscure what they are actually working on, thus the professional impression. I don‘t see why they would put resources into that though.
I'm really excited for whenever this thing gets revealed. There's probably gonna be a TON of new game announcements.

I think (am worried) that they don't want to reveal it until early next year to avoid it affecting Switch sales during the holiday season. With the Switch they weren't worried about affecting the Wii U because it was already dead, but the Switch is still going pretty strong, and I have no doubt they want to squeeze what money they can out of it this Christmas. If that's the case we might not get a release until late next year.
You might be right, but what they can also do is pair the announcement of the new console with a decently discounted price of the original switch for a last Christmas push. Oktober could be perfect to be well ahead of black friday. This might be a smarter strategy because apparently the switch finally isn't really selling anymore.

Switch 2 is a code name. it was NX for the original switch. There'll be some new one for the 11th gen switch. God that feels weird to say. I also believe that the 11th gen will be nintendos final console, since thats pretty much the limit for specs.
@@continental_consumer I do think console releases may slow down, but never stop completely. Look at the iphone, they keep up the release schedule its just the improvements get smaller and smaller. Main consoles wont be able to improve as much as easily, but there's still a lot of room for improvement for something like the switch with hybrid capabilities. Because there's inherently less space to work with.

Fair to consider the Nintendo PR department approved harmless tidbits to "leak". Everyone knows it's going to LOOK similar. The real question is the guts. But leaks are fun, and there's a void of good news to fill with Sony and Microsoft tripping over themselves.
It'd be more of a bummer having the thing revealed if it were radically new. As far as I see, this kind of takes the sting off of the next console being more or less the same thing but slightly bigger so now it's just exciting to eventually see the actual games in action.

I've worked with IT and recycling computer parts for 3 years. It is pretty easy to fake a motherboard, just snatching one from a similar product trying to imitate the switch, cutting it apart to fit the 3d print and screing it on is a definite possibility. Still a little elaborate, but you really dont have to be a tech expert to fake this.

I remember playing Kena Bridge of Spirits and the first thing I thought was, "Man, I can't wait till Nintendo gets better hardware so Zelda can look like this." Well we've arrived, and I'm so ready for it.
I LOVE that game. Was my first PS5 game. Definitely showed some of what the 5 could do graphically and performance wise back then.

I think it could be an improvement tbh. The rails made the switch feel like more wobbly and less solid. There’s likely gonna be a button to release them like the og switch
@@christianr.5868 The rails were outright bad, you could put the joycon on it upside down and damage to locking mechanism, which was also plastic and wore from normal use anyways. So a few years down the line your joycons are loose.
They are supposed to be electro-magnets, based on these photos the magnets in joycons will be switched on and off as needed

The Nintendo Switch Lite back plate leaked during production before that console was announced in 2019. Nobody believed it at the time as it had no Logo print yet, perhaps for security purposes, and because Switch Pro rumours were rampant at the time. This has happened before.
I really liked what the leaks present as the console. Bigger screen, bigger joycon, extra usb-c, as someone who only plays handheld it's a home run in physical design for me. The real juicy info is going to be the games, interface and functionality. Very excited. Got some pennies set aside for it's release.

All things point this to being real. But this could also have a chance at being the Grinch Leak all over again, but on a much bigger scale. When the Grinch Leak came out, everyone believed it was real, saying "how could you fake this?"
And this isn't the first time a Nintendo console leaked. We knew what the Switch was much before the thing was revealed. So it has happened before.
Doesn’t matter. I’ll be hyped off the planet when finally seeing the real reveal. Their music, design and joyful attitude, the love of what they do and how they present it is just special. Nintendo is a truly magical company. I know it’s just a business and they have problems like any other but they’ve given me some cherished memories I’ll always be thankful for. Both my parents are now in glory and I fondly remember waking up at midnight and walking toward their room at 5 or 6 years old to have them comfort my fears and tuck me back in bed only to stumble into a miraculous scene unfolding in the living room. The new NES we had gotten had captured all my hopes and dreams for the week or two we had it at this point. I spent days drooling over it while everyone else sat aside hardly paying attention. As I neared the end of the hallway I sensed something different. The lights were dim but not as dark as they should be and there was a faint noise of clicking accompanied by the sound of creaking pleather. The cigarette smoke in the air was fresh. As I reached the end and stepped into the light, I paused in silent amazement. It was midnight and my parents were awake playing the first Mario together. Their chairs were pulled all the way across the room, 3-4 ft from the giant CRTV. I knew in that moment that I wasn’t alone. They loved the system and Mario as much as I did. They were hooked. That night stands out in my mind as a special time when my parents were partners trying to work together to accomplish a goal and I was along for the ride. At least those moments when the NES light was on, we were a team. We spent countless hours passing the remote around the room until I finally beat 8-8 and freed Princess Toadstool. My dad and his youngest brother and I spent months learning Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out baddies and their tells so we could slowly progress, even leaving the system running day and night so we wouldn’t lose our progress.
Even with all the frustration, blowing in the cartridge, pushing it down repeatedly in desperation, banging the side of the console, and buying cleaning kits with no real improvement, it was magical to me. My dad spent hours playing these games with me. My mom spent hours listening to me describe the game I would design.
Now it’s my turn and the Nintendo Switch has been the best way to show my kids what my childhood was like at least in this one aspect, while encouraging them to work together, to be good sports and to share. We’ve made a lot of good memories. One of our favorites is Boomerang-Fu. We paid $4 for it on sale and all four of us jump and scream turning our house into a friendly competitive war zone for the def for a few minutes every couple weeks. It’s really terrific fun. My son and I have explored Hyrule side-by-side and advanced Mario’s mission to help Cappie save his sister. What a joy. Needless to say, I’m very thankful for the Switch and the games we play together on it. I’m thrilled for the next iteration for my own personal enjoyment and how it will undoubtedly bring my family together for a few healthy hours here and there each month for some fun memories. Anything that can do that is well worth the wait, the money, and has my sincere gratitude.

I would pay so much money if they have the 3DS menu system and something like Quick Resume from Xbox consoles.
3DS let me organize games into folders AND i can could choose how dense the folder grid is, thats vital for how many games are on Switch

Why do people think this leak will delay the system more? Every side of Nintendo’s business is eager for a hardware refresh so why would they delay it out of spite for a leak that only the terminally online will see?

Honestly 9/10, no matter how much I learn about somthing that leaked. I still get hyped from the official announcment because it's normally the first time seeing it in motion
My outlook on leaks like this is that they don't hurt the hype. Like when Nintendo comes out and reveals the Switch 2 and it turns out this was a real leak, I'll be hyped at the confirmation, because this looks great! It'd be cool for them to just get up in the spotlight and confirm a bunch of awesome stuff.
Completely unrelated to Switch 2, but I am super bummed that Echoes of Wisdom footage was in this video. I’ve been trying to keep things pretty spoiler-free for myself (only watched the first trailer), and even with only looking up occasionally, I had a huge reveal spoiled.
Why not stick to older footage of games that have already been released? Now I either have to hide the screen or just not finish the video

The Switch Lite was leaked too. Maybe one or two of the other Nintendo consoles, and there were definitely some Xbox leaks previously.
So, these leaks are probably real, but I'm still waiting for a reveal that this "Switch 2" has some feature that the first Switch just doesn't have. Obviously it's going to be more powerful, but there has to be more than just that, right? Well, more power and those magnetic controller attachments.
If they fix the joy con drift definitively and its a lot more powerful, it will be enough for a long while

It could easily be software related stuff. I think the Switch's software is in more dire need of an upgrade than the hardware itself - well, the *visual* part of the hardware, at least.
If it has stuff like the themes, a better friend list, better voice chat integration and such it would be great because that's some QoL stuff that the Switch sorely needed from day one.

Ive read ps4 pro/ xbox series s like power. If thats the case im set. Yea, ps5 is nice And I've heard people complain that there is not enough power but I think they seem to forget we had some of the most gorgeous looking games on the base ps, 4 example red dead redemption 2. The last of us part two and horizon zero dawn All three of those games were ahead of their times graphically

@@ccaprice8595 Exactly. I have a PS5 and I genuinely don't really see any differences unless I place things side by side. We basically peaked with PS4, any improvements now are incremental. This might be the first generation in ages that Nintendo's hardware is actually better because the games look just as good and it's portable. Only real advantage PS5 has is the load times.
@@ccaprice8595I’m sure Nintendo will fully use the power of a ps4 but having a more stable and consistent frame rate or higher resolution while docked is why I’m specifically excited for this feature
