Sweet is honestly hitting it on the head. Crust, Lou, Senoxe, Rocker, are all so mechanically gifted at apex and it's upsetting to see them not do well in tournaments etc.. They're so fucking nasty it kinda is baffling how they haven't had a lot of success. Lack of passion for the game is all I can think of, or being content with collecting a check from an org regardless the results they put up
Its fr upsetting. As an NRG fan im fine with other teams not having the same passion lol but just as a fan of the pro scene and the ppl in it, I wanna see everyone succeed and have awesome streams and win tourneys and stuff bc some of these guys deserve way more than theyve gotten.

Being mechanically gifted is just a part of the game. They don't do great because they lack other aspects and are not that good overall...

@@EliteReviews i see both sides tbh sweet is coming off rlly bluntly and zach is apart of the friend group and can account for all the complexities and nuances to it as opposed to sweet whos just calling it like he sees it from a distance, no matter what the circumstance theyre both right just two diff perpectives of it. noone can deny sen and rocker are all extremely talented players and could have amazing careers but hey man at the end of the day as long as their happy thats all that really matter imo

Coming back to this after Pro League Split 2, Lou with his new team has a real shot at making LAN while former Sentinels, have all parted ways and isn't even in contention. Sweet was 100% right. The skill wasn't lost, the drive to excel was. As soon as Lou left, he felt like his old self again.
Rockers retired as well.

I would say zach is kind of right about "the discord should not be the main factor" but theres more to it.
I mean as a outsider I have no clue what is happening in there but if that gamble thing is true then that should be the reason why sentinels are not having good results in ALGS (probably a lot more then gambling too)
But overall I feel bad for lou, we all knew he once grind the fuck out of ranked back in the days having like 100k points. The passion is crazy for people grind ranked ao much. He definitely is one of the best player with great mechanics but we wouldn't know what went wrong.

i don't think sweet gets that the sen boys play to have fun, they're not out to sweat their asses off in every fight like he is, they're just three dudes that are great friends and they're just playing a video game together for the memes and to have a good time, and to me it just seems like sweet is mad that the sen boys individually are still sweet's caliber while not taking everything super seriously and that sen can take nrg in fights despite not streaming or practising as much as nrg, he just seems mad that the sen boys value having fun IN A VIDEO GAME over being super tryhardy and working their asses off and win every tournament. i'm sure the sen guys would like to win more in tournaments but that's not everything to them unlike with tsm or nrg, but with sen they're just playing to have a good time together and they don't need to work as hard to be as good as the rest of the pros
You actually missed the point entirely. His issue with Sen and the friend group is that they’re paid pro players given the opportunity of a lifetime to be set for life, and they don’t stream. They could amass a following and make bank. But they don’t. Sweet doesn’t care how they play in pro league
@@lukerose4166 that's what i'm saying tho, to them the money isn't everything and they're just in it to have fun, they're making good money as is and stream revenue is just a bonus, and with tournaments if they win they win and if they don't they don't, sure they're not making the most of the opportunity but at the end of the day i think their friendship and having fun is more important to them than making tons of money
@@bigstiffmen Friendship is good and all but Sen is about to drop them from their roster, and when that happens friendship will be the least of their worries.
if they want to play to have fun, don't take up spots on a roster who could be using more passionate grinders. this is their JOB, they can either take it fun or take it seriously.
