No, it is not accurate at all. Alb had self-destructive, aggressive behavior that burned bridged and evrrything else on its way. Evan is nothing like that. Evan is simply someone who said that the WHOLE team fell off, said that he hated playing with a great player who bullied him in game and then started doing it outside the game, but still gave Hal his flowers and said he's great and hes the guy you need if you wanna win. What Evan did is nothing at all and you guys are overblowing it way out of proportion. His situation and character are also nothing like Alb. And I don't condone verhulst bitching but I surely understand it when you've spent years arguing with someone and every time they are right, and you are wrong.
I could see why evan hates playing with hal. When hal yells, he attacks u by calling u in idiot instead of calling out the play. Zero is the better igl now that I've seen more of him playing. When zero yells, he yells about the play, but when hal yells, he attacks u personally. @@CT-cl9wi unfortunately Evan is a terrible streamer, he barely interacts with his chat and has weirdos as mods (I think he already removed some of them), burning bridges with the top streamer wasn't a good idea now he actually has to win before he loses all his viewers.
Evan needs to realize he was a top1/2 controller player. Now theses MnK players made the switch is making him drop. And him not playing will put him out of the top 10. If he continues to go down this path TSM will drop him if they dont make LAN and he will end up on a 2nd tier team or worst.
Hot take but I disagree with the whole 'Verhult following Mac's footsteps' take. Verhulst isn't imploding or unhinged. This stuff he is letting out is probably the stuff that almost killed his career by making him want to stop playing. The deeper truth and the real hot take probably stings more. It's probably that Verhulst almost quit because Hal made his professional life miserable. It's kinda nuts that people are saying Verhulst shouldn't be saying those things because it's mean or unprofessional when he was treated far worse publicly for years.
I feel like it’s not Hal or Evan’s fault,Hal wants to win so he chose his way to encourage his teammates (although might not the best way) but Evan just wanna be chill rather than being trashtalked, they are just not suitable to stay in one team
Reps has held the criticism of casual fans for years, and now hals reinforcing it when reps said nothing against him, reps has always been a support player “value” stats will never favour him its a joke
Seems Hal probably cares more about his teammates in real life than they care about him. This is easier for him to do because he was the one handing out the insults in-game. He doesn't have any reason to feel bad about his teammates outside of the game, unlike them, who might have started feeling negatively because of the way he treats them in-game😅
Big E started all of this with the "Raven fell off" comment. Also, Reps is the GOAT, he knows he didn't grind enough, (even though he never played that much) but also understands that maybe that era was over and they were all looking for an excuse for just leave, hence the result at LAN. Big E vs Hal would be the next rivalry. Teammates to rivals. Day vs Night. Feeling like lex luthor.
The self realisation Mac has is top tier no ego no bullshit, just owning his mistakes, i didnt really think much of him, but you have to give a man like that your respect, takes a lot to own up to your mistakes, and not deflect from the truth.
NGL Hal is lame tweeting that stuff when he literally said he’s in no position to ever need to bait drama for views. I personally don’t see why it was an issue in the first place for Evan to publicly speak his perspective of it anyway.

3:15 see that’s the thing that Hal keeps saying to justify his toxicity, like to win you HAVE to be a piece of shit toxic player. It doesn’t have to be sunshine and rainbows OR being completely toxic, there’s this thing called the grey area. There’s no other option, Hal couldn’t just tone down being a total dickhead to his teammates, now could he? I like Hal but this has shown he REALLY doesn’t like being called toxic and can’t admit he’s completely shitty to work with. If he wasn’t so toxic, like none of this would have happened. The reason Evan and reps stopped grinding is because of Hal and how much of an asshole he is to them. If that was me, I would be like “holy shit, I’m that hard to work with?…. That’s not good..” but he doesn’t wanna admit that.

Everyone seems to point out the fact that Evan was being lazy and thats why Hal left and why Raven stopped trying as much. In the first place, why the fuck would Evan care about them when on multiple occasions in the past they had talks about Hal's rages and how he needs to chill but he never did. Reps has literally corroborated this point. Evan said Hal gets emotional and says shit he doesnt mean. 3 years ago Snipedown said something similar directly to Hal 3 years ago. "Don't be saying shit before you have any idea what happened. I'm literally tired of that." Reps doesn't even say anything anymore unless Hal goes too far because hes "used to it." He used to verbal abuse. Hal has been like this for years. Its been documented as early as when TSM was Alb, Reps, Hal and was further documented when it was Snipedown, Reps, Hal. Then it was documented AGAIN, with Hal, Evan, Reps. 4/6 of Hal's teammates have shown displeasure with how he talks to them. Snipedown and Alb did it after they left TSM. Reps did it while on the team with Hal. Now its Evan after Hal left. Hal clearly has a problem but people overlook it due to his status and achievements. Achievements that arent even his own. Apex is a team based game no? Who in Apex history has won championships by themselves?
Hal is a pain in the ass irl with his massive ego, if you couldn't phrased constructive words ingame its gonna be worse irl, if evan even said he'd rather play hard on scrims to evade playing with hal on ranked it means alot tbh, even reps rarely plays with hal casually other than comp.
Bringing up comments from 3 years ago as if Hal still speaks to teammates as common as he used to. What do you mean Hals achievements aren't his own? He has been the core player for 5 years dumbass, and has made legendary calls for Lan wins. Don't remember on WE when he portal'd behind two teams to 3rd party height, and then won the 3v3 to win the first online tournament with Evan? Or the valk ult call to 3rd party god spot? Or the back to back to back wins to win Champs? with the call to Horizon q over the cat wall? Crazy how Hal has a 'problem' yet players dive at the opportunity to play with him. Evan literally said it was for the money and viewcount. Evan has no right to complain about Hal when he used him to earn money and grow up stream. To your first point. If Evan brought up these problems with Hal and Raven when he joined, and they didn't get resolved or see change, why stick around? why stay with TSM once you've already won your first online tournament, and a Lan, making some money and a name for yourself to sign with another team? Evan could've easily got an offer from OG again or another team and spent the past few years and more chilling out with a decent salary and some big earnings to help him out for the next 5-10 years if he's smart. He could've even gone back to college. You cannot expect change from a player who has stayed the same for 2+ years, is hyper competitive and strives to win everything in front of him, and then after years of playing with him turn around right after he leaves and say he was insufferable to play with.
so u would like to have teams that never gets angry at failed performance but just chill and have fun while doing apex comp as career. thats stupidly naive way to think. even alb in this video said that if u dont get angry, then u dont care about winning lol. but hey lets just say that Hal is the sole reason why ppl leaves TSM or why performance have been low standard. being competitive pro is hard life, if u dont have mentality to endure and stamina to pursue success, then u may as well never play competitive scene.
Remember when Verhulst old teammates that he left said Verhulst left for the money and clout but he tried to deny it and it got his old teammates named salty and jealous BUT now he clearly is admitting that he just joined TSM for the money and clout 😂😂😂😂🤣
Honestly as a long time tsm viewer, I hated the whole PR no bad blood between us act they were putting up initially. To any long time viewer who understood the type of people we were dealing with there was so obviously a great deal of resentment and yet I would read so many chatters all propagating this lie and maybe they did just believe it was truthful but it still fucking pissed me off. This whole unveiling of the curtain is so refreshing and vindicating, so god I hope reps can stop with the sidelines act too now, get some fire back with Evan and Jordan so they can kick FLCNs ass come this split. Bottling their true feelings on the TSM breakup will only hinder their performance further.
I hoped for this day and I was eager to see it happen .... to see Mac like this. If he manages to keep this mindset even when he'll win, he'll be someone to look up to. From a very gifted player but with the maturity of a 10 yo, to a guy that seems like he went through some Mike Tyson mental transformation, I'm now his biggest supporter! I hope he reaches the top and maintains the same attitude and mindset.
If anything, to Timmy’s last point where he’s talking about the difference between treating people differently in-game versus out, and whether or not you ‘air your dirty laundry’/talk about someone poorly on your stream, I would say think about what Hal said about how Evan wasn’t being honest with him.. Hal’s reaction to the situation was surprised initially and he even acknowledges how he feels about Evan saying he “loves the guy”. So obviously there’s some semblance of a friendship there to Hal. But Evan coming out and talking like that is the opposite of friendship.
Except he's completely off the mark and his comparison with Evan is absolutely misleading and irrelevant. They're nothing alike, and their situations and behavior are complete opposites. Alb is wrongly projecting himself onto Evan.

Hal is toxic and there is no argument on that. It's totally healthy for a person to not be ok with that kind of behavior, make no mistake. People think that, because someone is successful, it's also ok what they do but it's not - and Hal is successful on what he does partially for the wrong reasons. Talking shit and talking down on your team like they are lesser than you is not ok. It's fun for some of the audience but it's not ok.
I think he’s just being honest. Imagine having someone talk shit to you constantly everyday for every mistake that you make. This is no different than having a crappy boss that’s on your A** everyday and it will eventually get to you. Yes, the money is good but after a certain point you blow up
Not tryna act like I know him personally, but I think maybe it’s because he’s had a confidence boost or maybe even gained an ego after winning several times that he feels comfortable to be opinionated now. He was never actually that positive like people thought, he literally just never said his opinions out loud or just laughed stuff off.
He has been yelled at constantly without the freedom to speak out about it publicly because it would completely destroy the team dynamic. He's now finally able to get shit off his chest. People blindly taking Hal's side are wild. Hal is the goat, he is insane and the reason TSM were TSM. But it doesn't mean his approach, no matter if it is from a place of passion, was correct or professional. Screaming and insulting your teammates is not the only way to give passionate feedback OR get the best out of them. Hal saying Evan only wants sunshine and butterflies like there is no middle ground between absolute cunt and coddling.
@@gapretzleNo, evan literally did NOT need to say all this shit on stream. He’s in the wrong here not Hal. I just love how everyone tries their best to make Hal look like the bad guy lol
Win at the cost of being unhappy or just be part of the rest of the pros trying!. Until we get another dominant team that doesn't run with the rage, teammate bashing style people just look at this as the norm and the only way to get results, nice really doesn't mean don't care theres a fine line with being disappointed and being mad vs just individually insulting & attacking teammates. The best managers & captains know how to adapt and pressure players to be better when underperforming but build confidence with others depending on personality. Look at Hal as the José Mourinho of esports wins wherever he goes but eventually falls out with staff/players/management etc to the detriment of having to move from club to club or change players. Look how many different TSM teammates that's been in past 5 years of apex alone. I know most premier league elite clubs wont touch that type of manager knowing what they are getting as mostly is a short term fix so seen as a big no no.
“You want someone to be mad at you just to show they give a fuck” Alb said the thing that every bad girlfriend does. Glad he realized it and understands.
So basically evan chose tsm for money and viewership instead of picking them over game skill so they could win evan might have the best aim but give him hals passion he isnt missing a bullet evans always clueless and doesnt seem to care
Mac realization is very matured about Ha1 and about iTzTimmy you know he is not mature the way he talks about this issue he talk like a kid in a grade school
Didnt Evan came After Snipedown and not mac ? And didnt Evan got into tsm Because Snipedown asked Hal about someone to replace him and Evan was insane in Intel ?
Reps is a fucken G for that, he knows they had one of the best competitive runs and have made memories and money to last a lifetime and that’s what he’s cherishing and ignoring all the other drama. He’s humble and a GOAT! Big ups to Reps man
What is passion without ever being mad? Without ever being sad? Without ever yelling? What kind of love is the one we don't fight for? Everything has limits. Yes, but being yelled at least means someone cares. Someone watches you and is there for you. Alb is right about this.
The only reason I could think of about why evan brings all these up is that hal left TSM and now TSM has fewer views, so evan is pissed and start executing everyone that left, including raven. That is actually fucking weird AS A PERSON because you would equal your "friendship" with the viewership and fame you got. As soon as no one is gonna watch you, you throw the so called "friends" away, and that is disrespectful for him. Never thought evan is a person like this. Shame on him.
Shows how much you know. They do not live in the same house. Hal has his own house where he lives with his dad. He rarely stayed/stays in the TSM house. He's basically fully moved out at this point.
@@xjeremyflowers Hal streams at a different house. He goes to the TSM house still though. The day the after hours stream happened Hal literally said he's gonna end stream and head to the TSM house for dinner.
Alb for all his past tantrums and rage quits, this was such a mature take on the situation and also self reflection. When you’re in a team, doesn’t matter if it’s sports, esports, engineering, whatever - you want to surround yourself with people who push you and challenge you. Hal goes overboard with the insults and can become borderline toxic but if I’m not the leader and I want the best money and all the trophies, I would rather have a passionate leader who expresses the dissatisfaction. I don’t watch Hal anymore but watching current TSM, they are certainly lacking this leadership.
People need to realize that verhulst is 100% valid for his opinions, Ab feels the way he feels for regret about tsm because of the outcome. Nobody says you need to be "soft" or kind to your teammates as an IGL, but dont call them a retard, and insult them personally 24/7 without going straight into what they do wrong. Stop pretending like hal is so right for yelling, nobody cares if he yells, people don't like hal insulting them as a person when youre supposed to be friends at the end of the day. Be a leader and direct your teammates in a better direction. Your friends should come out of it feeling ashamed for the play, own up to mistakes, not feel like theyre a dogshit player when you know theyre not, obviously if you put them on your team. Christ, im tired of people going over the main points and pretending as if Verhulst is just randomly exploding, everyone can watch one game of playing with hal and understand 100% of what Verhulst is saying. Playing with hal sucks so much to the point that winning just does not feel worth it. if your igl makes you feel like that then why even play. Verhulst hated playing the game because of hal, he wasnt lazy, wasnt dedicated, his hate of the game stemmed from hal because of hal constantly insulting him. Hal has no filter so I don't see why Verhulst should. personally.
He doesn’t give a f*ck about that he just wants teammates that don’t die in a simple 3v3 like bots, how many times I’ve seen reps and verhuslt drop like a fly I was glad to see Hal team with zero and gen they are better it’s that simple.
Sad tho, on the hand of respect verhulst didn’t have to say that, yet he respects himself and that shows strength. Y’all gotta remember despite Hal’s clear talents and passion to win, he was never the nicest igl, far from it. We could argue about the stress Hal had to go through by being igl for tsm however that doesn’t exactly excuse all the verbal abuse he put the tsm boys through over the years. I can tell from the sound of reps voice he wants to really say some shit, but he respects everyone’s career and choices over the drama. All in all , verhulst is lan proven well respected and more than earned his way to where he is today, I say let the man cook and talk his shit the way he feels without getting roasted for it. Honestly big L for Hal on this one in my opinion.
Mac is right about playing or working with someone who's passionate and demanding. It makes you angry, but you put more pressure on yourself to be better. It's true across all aspects of life. In the moment you hate it, looking back on it you appreciate it
Most of these comments lose me brain cells. Any amount of social intelligence, and detaching yourself from defending your fav player, will make it obvious that Evan just opened up lines of conversation that NEVER needed to be public. Hal cried and struggled to word things in a way that didn't paint his old teammates too badly when he left, even though it was pretty obvious that it was related to performance. Hal is allowed to make a decision for himself, and obviously theres dirty laundry, but overall everyone did a great job keeping it hidden, which is how it should be. Without any evidence of on-going wrongdoing to Evan, he started directly naming issues and laying blame on Raven and Hal, and speaking on personal matters that never should have been public. No one is surprised Hal is hard to play with anyway. Like Timmy said, saying that is fine, but for no reason, to start talking about private convos and blaming others for your own shortcomings is just ridiculous. The ego coming off of Evan is very obvious here. This is the type of stuff that burns bridges and ruins friendships. In addition to Evans severe lack of judgement, this fundamentally a difference in perspective on competitive drive. Hal values winning above all else at all times: feelings, comfort, tiredness, etc. Its a trait that you either have or you dont at any given time. Its also one that can be realized, even when it was missing before, like Mac was talking about. Then you factor in the human shortcomings of Hal's berating, Evan's apparent willingness to let his mental go because of words, Raven's exasperation with performance and effort, and Reps' bad gameplay... you have a situation that was bound to change. And it did change. No one was in the wrong for that. Imagine thinking Hal owed it to them to stay together, or that Evan and Reps should be FORCED to play a video game or some crap. Nah. Reps was right: none of it needed to be said. They had a good thing and the good thing came to an end, thats all. As for Evan, I hope he didn't just nuke his career, because when you get paid to play a video game... the stuff Hal is saying is way more valid than what Evan is saying.
The only issue I have with Verhulst ‘going down the same road’ as Alb is that Verhulst is just better at the game. Controller demon in a controller heavy region.

If what Evan said about Hal yelling at him irl until he had to threaten him is way too much. There’s passion and then there’s toxicity.
Alb's take on this is very enlightening. His input on Evan's sitiuation is 100% accurate. Hope Evan watches this clip.
Alb self sabotaged while Evan is simply speaking his mind calmly and rationally, while being fair in the way he does it. He has the right to speak his mind just like Hal does.
@RickGrimes807 you are correct, my friend. People is making this bigger than it should be. Evan didn't offend anybody, actually he admitted he also got lazy and assumed responsibility.

I could see why evan hates playing with hal. When hal yells, he attacks u by calling u in idiot instead of calling out the play. Zero is the better igl now that I've seen more of him playing. When zero yells, he yells about the play, but when hal yells, he attacks u personally.

Reps has held the criticism of casual fans for years, and now hals reinforcing it when reps said nothing against him, reps has always been a support player “value” stats will never favour him its a joke
You can express yourself in ways that doesn’t breakdown your teammates. There for example. No one would accuse zero of not caring.

So this is why Hal isn't igl anymore.
Hal realized he's been making enemies this whole time.
He’s got that Kobe gene bro. Kobe win 4 rings but was like that his whole career. It may feel wrong but he’s literally the Goat. 🤷♂️
so u would like to have teams that never gets angry at failed performance but just chill and have fun while doing apex comp as career. thats stupidly naive way to think. even alb in this video said that if u dont get angry, then u dont care about winning lol. but hey lets just say that Hal is the sole reason why ppl leaves TSM or why performance have been low standard. being competitive pro is hard life, if u dont have mentality to endure and stamina to pursue success, then u may as well never play competitive scene.

What kind of love is the one we don't fight for?
Everything has limits. Yes, but being yelled at least means someone cares. Someone watches you and is there for you.
Alb is right about this.
You gotta respect your teammates specially if they are the reason why your winning
Exactly that why Hal should have been respectful of Evan.
@@djsixninesixno, evans lack of performance led to disrespect from Hal
The only reason I could think of about why evan brings all these up is that hal left TSM and now TSM has fewer views, so evan is pissed and start executing everyone that left, including raven.
Hal has no filter so I don't see why Verhulst should. personally.
Hal will success a lot for sure.
But i doubt he will have actual friends as teammates by his side then at the end.
He doesn’t give a f*ck about that he just wants teammates that don’t die in a simple 3v3 like bots, how many times I’ve seen reps and verhuslt drop like a fly I was glad to see Hal team with zero and gen they are better it’s that simple.
dude zach and alb were such a vibe duoe whe not in fucking Apex
Evan being brutally honest and transparent equals people blowing a gasket.
Timmy talking about Dezign 💀 💀
As for Evan, I hope he didn't just nuke his career, because when you get paid to play a video game... the stuff Hal is saying is way more valid than what Evan is saying.
is that 1v1 thing only on pc ?
Yes it’s r5
The only issue I have with Verhulst ‘going down the same road’ as Alb is that Verhulst is just better at the game. Controller demon in a controller heavy region.
There used to be a time when Alb was one of the best MnK fraggers mechanically.
@@flashlite3 true but the skill gap closed very very fast.
