Ok this woman is smart! Totally knows her stuff! Great to see this video! Awesome, Bob! And I love how you interview men and women in the same way♥️. You don't talk down to women or treat them/us as "the other gender". Very impressive!
Loved watching this! I am buying my first SCAMP 5th wheel for my tacoma in a couple days and am so excited. I was doing the nomadic lifestyle in my truck shell converted it to a mini RV but was kind of tight. So this is definitely going to be a home! Thanks for the video. So nice to see people chasing adventures and joy. It's the little things that could be so much for us.
I love listening to her she is very small u can tell she has been doing this for a while she is slower more relaxed and informative just seems to be happy and love this ppl like her r the reason i want to do the same life
Thank you so much Brenda for taking us on a tour of your camper, it is so nice. Thank you Bob for all the time and effort that you put into this video for us
Great looking cozy rig! Those Scamps are such well build campers, I've never seen the wood finish up close - real nice look inside. Thank you for sharing your traveling home with us Brenda! You were very thorough with the details of your set up and that made this interview quite interesting! Well done Bob - keep em' coming! 👍
Very cosy and pretty home! And such a nice, soft-spoken lady, a real pleasure to meet. Loved the cabinets. That golden oak color is so pretty. I painted mine white, and now regret it immensely. I will remove the paint and restore the golden look. The extra bedroom in back made it a giant space.
Oh my goodness!!! I am so grateful for this video!!!! I have been waiting to know about these 5 th wheels. Know it is a older version of trailer but I love it 😀
If I were to travel, a light 5th wheel would be terrific! Easy to tow.The truck was a good choice. Just an all-round, nice arrangement. I'm older and want to be able to stand up in a camper VS no head room. LIke you say, one must strike a balance between freedom and comfort. I want both, to a reasonable degree. That rig would be perfect. It is a fiberglass " tiny house" in its our right. I hope Scamp continues to make them. Brenda was very helpful in explaining how she keeps warm and cool. Impressive!
loved this!!!! Brenda and I share the same décor interests... all wood, rustic and natural! I think this is the only time I have considered a 5th wheel instead of an rv!!! thanks again bob!!!
"Consolidating what's really important to you, and chuck the rest," sums it all up pretty well. Love "the Scamp doesn't skimp". This is a beautiful 5th wheel. 💙
Thanks for letting us see the Scamp. It is a very nice setup and the woodwork is fantastic. Even though brenda bought things sight unseen, you can tell she did her homework. She seems to be a smart cookie.
" Imagine a world where people are happier because they're doing more of what suits them. That's how we shift the world a little at a time to a happier, even more beautiful place overall." Have to tell, this is one of the most powerful quotes i have read,my opinion ,and I am certain that it is because Brenda is just a really amazing person.
gregory p Agree with you. Reading her words touched my heart & made me feel like maybe, despite all the seemingly insurmountable obstacles in my way, I too can make my dreams happen. I think this is what happens when someone has a genuine, kind spirit & is not afraid to be vulnerable & real with others; and who is truly happy when others find their peace & happiness. That is the feeling I get from Brenda. I've become a loner in middle age, but she is someone I'd like to hang out with. And I don't feel that way about very many women anymore. Most of the ones I've met are catty & mean, just like in junior high! I'm happy to see Brenda living the life she was meant for! I'm sure it wasn't easy to allow the world into her personal space, but I appreciate her willingness to share her home with us. Thanks, Brenda & Bob.
Geez, you guys actually make me choke up a little. Thank you for the kind words, they mean a lot. If my words or the videos can make someone's life just a little bit better, then I did what I wanted to do. Sometimes I'm probably a little too 'real' for people's tastes. I think our duration here is too short, from a happiness standpoint, to be anything but real. I'd like to see that happiness ratio shift dramatically for the better. Anyone can do this if it's what you want. It sometimes takes a little creative thinking and being willing to step out of a standard 'comfort zone'.
Yep this is the second time that I have watched this particular UA-cam with Brenda and it is so beautiful and such a great set up I just love it I love the decor I love the interview well done
Nice video, Bob. Brenda has a great set-up. Really looks like a home.. I really appreciate the rig tours, as it gives me food for thought for my next camper.
Thanks for showing us this trailer. I have seen a few of these going down the road and wondered what they look like. I am glad to know now. Thanks again!
Thank you so much Brenda. You are a wonderful, gracious host. I love your home it is beautiful. I hope Bob will sit down and interview you sometime and we can learn more about your RVing life.
Bob, Great video. Awesome camper. I had to watch this one in bits and pieces toady, as I had several things going on. I must have snagged this just after it was posted this morning. FYI, I was the 50th person to like the video. As of 4:45 this afternoon, eastern time you are OVER 700 likes and 5,000 views. It was about 400 this morning. Keep them coming, and get to the van build. That's what we want to see. So, get busy.
I keep returning to this video. I can't get it out of my mind how calm and down-to-earth Brenda was during the making of this video. I keep comparing all of the Scamp trlrs, including Brendas 5th wheel, to all others. Now I know. Thanks Brenda for taking time out of your very busy schedule, to share your wonderful ideas and showing us inside your home. Lol. Ok I am going to fess up. Lol. I am jealous but so very happy for you. Hang on to your dreams!! OH!!! Your Christmas tiny tree is like mine. I'm alone during the holidays, so I decorate minimal.
Bob, does she have a channel? if not she should. she knows what she's doing. straight shooter, honest, and WORKS! omg she actually has a 4wheel drive vehicle for driving off road.
I've lived in campers, on a boat, and now live in a tiny 800 sq. real house. Always cracks me up when people ask how can you do that, it's so tiny. #1, First get rid of of all your junk that that you have not used in 20 years. Most people have no clue how little you really need to lead a happy life and get trapped into thinking more is better. I used to have a sign on my boat that says "I've never had less, but enjoyed it more" . I love the fact you also do the exact same thing as I do, I always have a plan A, B, and even C for any situation I'm facing. Even living in a real home I have a back up generator, gas 2 burner stove, portable gas heater and lantern, and even a porta potty. It's funny when we have lost power in my area for several days all these people with the far bigger houses come my tiny home to take a dump, shower, get water or even cook some food.
Love her trailer worth every dollar. You’re buying good quality. Oak is beautiful you’ll never need to replace that it will last forever. Stunning you do get what you pay for.
Scamp puts me in mind of a more reasonable version of Airstream design. Very tasteful. Brenda is certainly the master of her domain with her backups to backups Plan B mentality. When I see these ladies doing what they love and SO effortlessly, it makes me think about downsizing what I have EVEN MORE! Us guys are lucky 🍀 to have YOU to educate all of us with the great ideas these great people have to offer. As a guy who’s lived a nomadic life in trucks and the last ten years on the railroad 🛤 I still feel like a rookie when I see the countless possibilities on the road. You sir are a treasure and you are making a huge contribution to our changing society. THIS.....IS FREEDOM AT IT’S BEST !!!
Great setup Brenda, and thanks Bob for another high quality video. She mentioned she wants solar, but is afraid to drill through the fiberglass trailer roof. I've seen flexible solar panels attached to a roof with high strength Velcro underneath and Eternabond tape around the edges. The wiring could be routed down through a vent, so it is possible to mount solar without drilling holes. Suitcase solar out on the ground would be another way to have energy without drilling.
This is just beautiful, Brenda, thank you for sharing your home with us! I just love it, you have decorated it beautifully and it looks so comfy. Happy travels to you and your cute kitty!
Thanks for the video tour . Years ago I was considering the 16' Scamp and was impressed with the build quality , but ended up going for a class C . Now we have settled into out class B , a 19' Roadtrek and are loving it . I had not seen the layout of the 19' before and was once again impressed . Nice job Brenda with the decorating and personal touches . I like people who learn to adapt to whatever they run into for weather and off grid or hooked up . Should serve you well for many years .
Brownies with chocolate chunks! Yeah! Great information and different, too. Learned a lot about trucks and campers and keeping the joy in our lives and living quarters. Good stuff Bob. Thanks Brenda!
The natural wood cabinets are really beautiful. My kind of interior. A really beautiful fifth wheeler! I can't stand the sterile / clinical modern cabinetry of most new RV s down here in Australia these days. Beautiful home indeed. Good on ya Brenda.
Scamps are nice. We looked at them back in the day but couldn't afford it. We also camped with our cats. they loved it. Home, to them, was where we were. Good job, Bob and Brenda.
A very good interview with someone who is quite obviously well versed on her trailer, and truck--it's a very nice change from the usual fluff you see on youtube. 15:36 that's really smart that she tried it out by starting the AC unit on low. There's a device called a soft-starter that can be connected between the AC & the generator, that will allow the smaller generators to run some AC units. Microair designs & makes several soft-starter models, right here in the U.S.A.
I love this! Perfect size, everything she pointed out, is positive for me, and an answer to my cat problem as well. Thanks for sharing this, to both of you! Stay Free People!
If you can adapt your kitty to a harness, just keep an eye on him/her if you let them out on a tether. Mostly she's pretty good, but Maggie can and has wiggled out a few times!
Wolf Blue I tried putting a harness on my cat (tortie) and she would run to the end of the tether and jump straight up, then flat on the ground. So I said forget it. Did you have this much trouble training yours? Maybe I'm missing something. We're do you keep the litter box. I use Blue Buffallo walnut shells..so no odor.
I chuckled at your comment. Knowing torties, I can just picture yours doing that. Well, I have to keep an eye on her. She can wiggle free. She didn't like it at all at first, then she got better and associated it with going outside. We still have 'disagreements' sometimes and if she had it her way, there'd be no harness at all. She doesn't understand it's just to keep her safe. Her box is under the couch/lounge in the front of the trailer - where the table would be if I had it set up. I've been using Arm & Hammer Natural, have not seen the Blue Buffalo stuff.
😂It’s the adorable Growling 🐯 kitty for me 😂 🤭I’m watching this 6yrs old! Brenda I hope you’re doing well and still scamping!!! 😊
Really beautiful 5th wheel and very knowledgeable, gracious and levelheaded lady. Hope she's still doing well.
Hey Brenda you did a great job 👍 Thank you for sharing your cute camper. 😊 💗
She seems like a very nice person. And she has made her “home” very inviting
Ok this woman is smart! Totally knows her stuff! Great to see this video! Awesome, Bob! And I love how you interview men and women in the same way♥️. You don't talk down to women or treat them/us as "the other gender". Very impressive!
Yes, I agree - Bob really respects women during his interviews.
😢😢😢😊😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Looked like a commercial. Why no bikini?
What a great video Bob and she’s really impressive. I’m curious what she does for a living she mentioned being assigned to Mammoth Hot Springs
What a well behaved little cat! Handsome sweet little fellow. Many blessings to you, Brenda.
This is one of my favorite set up of all videos. Its stunning!

Thank you so much Brenda for taking us on a tour of your camper, it is so nice. Thank you Bob for all the time and effort that you put into this video for us

You were very thorough with the details of your set up and that made this interview quite interesting! Well done Bob - keep em' coming! 👍
She is so knowledgeable and explains things so well. Very good interview.
If it’s OK to take a shower outside, is it OK to dump your gray tank outside? I mean it’s the same water
Know it is a older version of trailer but I love it 😀
Cant get over how much room is in there. Great set up good luck with your travels.
A really lovely home. Love all the skylights and everything else about it.
Brenda is such a cool person ,I'm totally inspired.
Thank you for this wonderful video and introduction to the 19 ft scamp. What nice energy you have brenda! and bob you are the best!
She is a very intelligent person in the mechanical field. Good to know when you own campers. Love her situp inside camper
I love her home. I may now know what I want when I come out there.
Wow, love your Scamp and your attitude!! Thank you for sharing, your home is beautiful! I watched on 1/11/2021
loved this!!!!
Love this scamp rv 5th wheel. Always wanted to see the inside ..thx Bob and thx to the owner. Very beautiful rig
The fiberglass exterior, is also great!
That's a beautiful rig perfectly setup. Thanks for sharing your home with us! Nice people. Good company.
Thanks for letting us see the Scamp. It is a very nice setup and the woodwork is fantastic. Even though brenda bought things sight unseen, you can tell she did her homework. She seems to be a smart cookie.
Many thanks for your awesome video!!! Wish you, your pretty kitty, and your vampy "Scamp" MANY happy "smiles-per-gallon"... 😊😀😄☺😁❤
Brenda definitely has it together. I love it. Thanks for sharing.
This unit is a surprise! It has virtually everything a solo would ever need. Thanks for sharing 😊
Yes i agree a very peacefull person and has great wisdom.bless her and
May the lord look over her. Lovely trailer love it .😊👍🙏
By far my favorite camper you have reviewed yet.
" Imagine a world where people are happier because they're doing more of

Wow. I can be having a terrible day, then pop in here at random and read kind things like this...Thank you...

Neat rig & well organized by Brenda. A really perfect rig for one person full-time RV’ing-both the Scamp and the truck. Great work, Bob & Brenda!
Out of all the camper insides I've seen, yours is my favorite
Thank you so much Brenda. You are a wonderful, gracious host. I love your home it is beautiful. I hope Bob will sit down and interview you sometime and we can learn more about your RVing life.
she is a very articulate, clear thinking , individual

I love the scamp someday I'll get one .thanks for video
She was wonderful with explaining how her scamp works. Thanks! :)
What a pretty little camper. I could live in this very well. Great interview Bob.

She's a beauty Bob ..Almost the perfect rig for a solo traveler and more importantly it's built to last a life time

I want to be Brenda when I grow up.
Absolutely beautiful home. Brenda has really made this hers. I really like that it is a fifth wheel. Great video again. Joyce
This is an amazing little camper it has absolutely everything you need and is done beautifully,Good Luck on your travels....
Great video thanks for posting. Brenda and the host at great
Brownies with chocolate chunks! Yeah! Great information and different, too. Learned a lot about trucks and campers and keeping the joy in our lives and living quarters. Good stuff Bob. Thanks Brenda!
WOW! Impressive little scamp! Brenda has the rig decked out NICE! REAL HOMEY!
The natural wood cabinets are really beautiful. My kind of interior. A really beautiful fifth wheeler! I can't stand the sterile / clinical modern cabinetry of most new RV s down here in Australia these days. Beautiful home indeed. Good on ya Brenda.
I like her attitude and way of freedom
Excellent design congratulations on your home happy adventures Many blessings to you Brenda and your kitty
Nice video. This girl knows her stuff...thanks
I got so excited watching this one!! I want a scamp and to take to the open road. Thank you Brenda, beautiful Scamp!
A real nice 5th wheel trailer. And she sure knows her home. Thanks Bob for the tour and interview.
Truly nice rig!
We are considering one and I'm thankful for the tour!
I love it! Very nice set up. Brenda has great energy and attitude. ❤ Thanks for sharing.
Very inspiring. Great video. Thank you
She looks and sounds like Mare Winningham. From the glasses down. Love this scamp. It's so cozy and house like. 👍
I really enjoy your videos Bob but I think Brenda's warm and open attitude made this one of your best! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Theresa it was our pleasure. :)
Thank you for sharing your home with all of us
love the 'stairs' up to the bedroom...much easier to negotiate when you're "of a certain age" (ME).
nice rig, Brenda!
Brenda, your rig does have a very positive vibe! Enjoyed this video.
Wow. Great design. I could live in it! Love the fact that your bed has so much head room. I doesn't feel small at all
She's a smart women, knows a lot before she buys, great. Enjoying live before she gets old. Love it!
Really nice Brenda, we had a 16 ft. Scamp as our first trailer but no storage at all. Your 5th wheel has ample storage.
Thanks Bob, for the good work you do.You are a window on another world for many of us.
That should be there slogan,,,,Scamp doesnt skimp ! Love it ...
This was great - I love that Scamp! She has such a lovely, bright, cheerful home, and it's portable! Great interview. :)
Absolutely think this is perfect set up.
Scamps are nice. We looked at them back in the day but couldn't afford it. We also camped with our cats. they loved it. Home, to them, was where we were.
Good job, Bob and Brenda.
Very nice fifth wheel trailer . Good interview Bob. Keep it up
A very good interview with someone who is quite obviously well versed on her trailer, and truck--it's a very nice change from the usual fluff you see on youtube.
15:36 that's really smart that she tried it out by starting the AC unit on low. Love this set up. So nice and comfortable. Thanks Brenda for letting us see your home.
I can't wait to see it finished. Luv you show.🏖🏖
Love the scamp fifth wheel and how she decorated and organized. Great video.

So with a butterfly harness that's something that the cat can't back her way out of?
I love your scamp. I could see myself living in it. It has everything. I think the 5th wheel one is the nicest.
