- Save fuel, increase productivity, reduce noise, less maintenance, by turning off your machine when it is not in use. We test the remote capability and do a remote weld with the new Miller Bobcat 260! Start and stop with the remote. Simple to use we go about 500 feet away from the machine and it does start with the remote. We also test a few other distances and with and without obstructions.

Would be more usefull if you could run a remote to adjust amps i reckon
That's what I've been saying.
To me remote start not very useful
I remember when I unboxed my 260 a few months back. Bought it at bakers, they didn't charge me for shipping nor taxes. They also discounted a few hundreds.
Thank you for shopping with us!
very good video ,, thank you
♥Baker's Gas
Bakers Gas, where are yall located? Anywhere near Arkansas? I am Impressed with your video about the new 360 with remote.
What a great machine
Pretty sweet I hope Lincoln matches that
I would like to know if the miller 260 EFI welding machine that I bought with you can I put a remote control to control the amps ,,, and I want to know if you sell it
I would kill for one of these
I would too!!!!!
Miller did it again nice machine. Question can I hook up my Miller hi freq box for TIG welding aluminum? What is the generator capacity the 11,000 watts like the other Bobcats?
260: 11,000 watts peak, 9,500 watts continuous
260 EFI: 12,000 watts peak, 10,500 watts continuous
Yes you can hook up your high frequency box and AC TIG aluminum! I will see if we can track one down and maybe we will do a video on that.
@@BakersGas what does non critical ac tig mean? Can you do a video welding with the 260 with out a high frequency box to see how it welds?
I bought one and after the machine is hot it just cranks and cranks it won’t start back up and I only used it like for 4 hours and now it’s in the shop
Nah, he’s got a guy shutting it off behind the camera and the engine running noise is CGi and Ai. 😂😂
Just purchased one for a $1000 on Facebook marketplace, very little use.
Big time score!
I’ll give you $1500 for it😂🤣😂
Is it possible to get a set up for mig/ and tig on this machine?
Theres no gas port that Ive seen on these units. But, it generates a lot of good clean power so plugging in a MIG/TIG machine with this as a generator is good. Runs the Miller plasma cutters no problem. These Bobcats are all we use at my work when we build welding trailers. I want one of these for my garage haha.
Damn. Wish I had the 250. The electric choke sucks on the 260.
I hate to be "that guy", but the reason there were u bolts where you made that weld, is because you're not supposed to weld to a frame, especially the flange. Oh well, maybe I missed something....... As far as the welder, can you use a remote amperage control? I think that would be more useful.
Whats the difference between the GFCI and the EFI?
Ground fault circuit interrupter .....electric fuel injection?
Conbien ce coute 252
I just wonder how many different frequencies those remotes use? If you were on a jobsite with multiple units will other fobs start/stop other machines? I’m sure it’s like automobile remote fobs.
That would be so funny to see wouldn't it? Watching all the welders turning off each other's machines instead of their own🤣 the whole jobsite would be shut down and pretty upset huh..
Can I run a Miller Mig welder off the generator of this machine? I don’t want to buy a wire feeder
I run my Millermatic 252 on 120’ of extension cord. Doesn’t phase this machine. I also run my hypertherm PowerMax 30 air on the same cord and can sever 3/8 Cor-ten (a588) no problem.
Make that 260 with remote control.
How does it run 6010 and can you rig out with it
How do you run 6010? If your can run it good the machine will run it good
Why the FUCK would I want to be that far away to start it?🤷🏾🤔😅
First one.
5500$??? I wish!!! Just paid 7,800 for the 260.. I had originally bought the 325 trailblazer. Good luck getting that.. on back order since February.. miller can't get the motherboards to complete machines.. thank Joe B and his dictatorship
That’s really a shame. I own 2 bobcats and 2 trailblazers. I will never weld with the bobcats again, they’re still good for generators though. The trailblazers are the best of the best in compact engine drives.
Don’t be a moron, worlwide shortage because of the pandemic 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
@@sancho8840 How come you dislike welding with bobcat?
We have a fleet of trailblazer 325 EFI. Probably 6 or 8 of them. All of them have issues occasionally. They work great when they work but I personally like an old carb machine with a choke. These get run on structural jobs. Sometimes for 8 hours a day for a few weeks at a time.
