  • After my first version of the jig, I quickly noticed some errors that I made that didn't really make the jig work as well as it could have. In this video, I detail the mistakes I made and walk through the process of building it better.

Really nice update and improved jig. Glad I found this 2nd video of yours as I will definitely incorporate some of your improvements such as the movable far end of he jig. I really like that since I plan on making mine wider, like yours. Also glad to see you in short sleeves and no gloves while operating that table saw!

Love that jig - defo gonna make me one of those - thank you. I think i'll add a third black knob thing - might give additional stability...

Thanks for posting the video. It is informative and easy to follow the way you explained it.
I noticed your table saw cabinet while working on the jig, and I wonder if you have any videos or dimensions on how to make it?
I have one of this table saws like yours, and at first, when I started using it was a bit scary since the table surface is so small. This is the reason I'm looking for a cabinet that could help me, and yours seems just right. I would appreciate any kind of help.

I know you said you were going to use the drawer base slot for alignment of the square bottom piece, did I miss what you did with that?? I like your jig very nice upgrade and good video.

Thanks Pat! That’s a great question and after scanning my video, I can see how that would be missed! Check (4:27) of the video where I did a split screen edited section. On the left side I’m explaining what I’ll do and on the right side, I’m doing the action, but in Ludacris Speed.
I thought it might be a good idea but next time I’ll try to make it more obvious. I was editing prior videos and didn’t like that they were so dang long, therefore I tried to find a way to make the video shorter. I like to listen to viewers for feedback, so what should I do in the future for sections like that? Just make the video long, or condense it with some split screens where I’m talking and doing the action?

@@RRRWoodworks You don't have to show all the 'cutting' one view of a cut is enough, the set up of the cut is the most important.
