    I just found this channel about a week ago and have literally binge watched the entire history from video number 1. I love the attention to detail. I love the way the two of you complement each other's skills to handle the whole.

    As already mentioned, non slip matting really helps with router jigs. Even the smallest amount of clamping makes them rock solid, and many jobs can be done without even bothering to clamp. Another good method is to stick the jig to your workpiece with double sided tape, I use that a lot when repeating a shape from a template.

    Nice jig, get some non-slip matting on the bottom maybe like they have on the rails for plunge saws. As long at the piece below doesn't have much sawdust on it that would work nicely!

    Why do you call it a dado and not a housing?

    Too simple. There is no way to adjust it for variations in width; using this design, you'd need a separate jig for every different thickness of material.
