High speed should mean less chance of being hit by field magic, but it doesn't get lower than 20% so still being hit by 1 on 5 spells (although magic mirror or other field magic blockers will bring down to 0% hit)

While part 2 has no such mastermind he really is just living a mundane life, the story is in many ways not directly involving him anymore

In actual Israel military, it is just a two-week course to teach not even the basic hand-to-hand combat, but to instil an aggressive mind-set into new recruits to make them go to the danger, "to be the danger". I think it's based on if she's won money from other players already. Like how Kathy lost twice to her in prior events, thus giving the NPC money that she then gives up when John beat her.
Hmm, John last year changed his hairstyle, then he dumped shadowheart and became Shallow Eyepatch Wolf, He failed a recommendation, Woolie made him play a David Cage game, then John made Woolie to watch an anime (for some reason....[Go and watch Gon in 60 seconds]...) then Woolie made him play this game. Seems like a story based setup for The true story of regular eyepatch wolf is that the main character of this whole show is KATHY. Wow this is now my favourite plot twist ever to be revealed. Woolie is amazing.... He gave us this game and also Kathy (The true final gamer) plus now John / Shallow Eyepatch Wolf is copying Kathy because she is the best and amazing character of all time LoL
Interesting note on krav maga, if taught properly you should be pressure testing the shit out of everything. There are still limits of course, but krav's goal is survival, so running away is often just as valid as incapacitating the attacker. Even for the more dangerous moves, there's usually some technique that goes with it that can be safely used in sparring (like how juijitsu can teach you to snap someone's wrist, but the set up is just as important)
I wonder if John realises that Magic stat is both Magic attack and Magic Defense, and that Combat magic Can't miss. So fighting a 40 Mg sylph with 1 Mg and no Combat Defensive Magic to reduce the damage taken is a very risky plan to say the least.
Does this bloodbath ever end? It seems like there is no way to catch up and whoever is in the lead can just keep extending that lead indefinitely. It doesn't help that the CPU players get literally everything to go their way on every spin and combat.
