- In this video, I demonstrate how to cook a rotisserie chicken in in the Comfee toaster oven air fryer combo. I seasoned the chicken with Kinder's Mild BBQ Rub then cooked it for 1 hour on the ROTISSERIE setting. The temperature was set at 400 degrees F for the first 20 minutes and turned down to 350 F for the remaining 40 minutes.

This video made me laugh so hard I got a headache! I love the perseverance. I wanted to help this guy. The chicken flapping around is absolutely hilarious!
I have the same problem. I just got to learn how to tie the cheek into the pipe, but you did a great job.
Looked great! one tip I learned after about fifty years of struggling to tie chickens tight is to wrap your first wrap around the string twice, when you cinch it down it tends to stay tight to the chicken, then when you go to do the second motion, the first part doesn't come loose, as easily. I use it all the time cooking now, works great, even use it on my hiking boots when I'm trying to do them up tight. Hope that helps, have a great week!
Thanks for the tip! Have a great week yourself!
Let’s get rotisserieing!😃
LOL
good vid. thanks for showing the fail part. Shows me I can fail sometimes too and still smile at the end
Thanks! I think the problems make the video more interesting!
There's some really good videos out there about trussing a chicken. I learned how to do it finally after a few times of winging it (no pun intended)
I think this is my favorite video of yours! Absolute comedy gold! We've all been there struggling with something and I love that you included it all in the video!
LOL Thanks! It is pretty funny to watch now that it's all done!
This video had me cracking up
Annie said it was good so it is good! LOL!!
Annie rules!
It looked like a struggle that I would have but the result looked awesome!
Thanks! Yeah, it was quite an adventure!
Your Cosori came with a missing thumb screw, mine came with the entire stick that the goes through the chicken missing. Suspiciously this exact Cosori part is available for an individual order on Amazon. Hopefully that's all that's missing.
It’s refreshing to see everyone has struggles with a first cook. The results were still amazing. Chicken looked really juicy and tender Jim. Of course it definitely was Annie approved! Cheers!
Thanks! Cheers!
What about setting the time
I thought it looked delicious, and I actually find watching the "real" experience of you figuring it out there at the beginning is helpful. If you could still buy a whole chicken for not too much money like a few years back... I'd be buying a machine like this and cooking one of those every weekend. Enjoy your videos!
Thank you!
I love how you keep everything real! I am glad it came out well. It definitely looks good.
❤ kisses to Annie ❤️
Thanks! This was quite a chicken cooking adventure! LOL
That's why I follow your videos, because all I used to have was "cooking adventures." Lol .... not anymore 😍🥰😀 I cook the "Tos Tin Man" way ❤️
That looks so good
Thanks! It was!
Wow nice job for your first try using the rotisserie! It’s always awkward in the beginning, but I know you will get the hang of it. The chicken turned out beautifully in the end 👍🏽. That’s a great little appliance to have! Happy Sunday to you and Annie❤
Thanks! Happy Sunday!
Thanks for all your time & effort 😊 Too much work for MY non-kitchen “skillls” 😂 I’ll continue to buy mine in the store 😉
LOL Sounds like a smart choice!
...When I was much younger and better able to get around and cook more, I had a rotisserie attachment for my Weber grill...Nothing was more difficult to get centered on the rod and forks than a chicken...I tied it up firmly long before sticking the rod and forks in it and actually made a small cradle to check the balance so it would cook evenly...Took time but it was worth it...Your chicken looked fabulous through all your hard work...Love what ya do here Jim...
What a gorgeous chicken, looks amazing!! And it’s Annie approved 💗 hope you’re feeling good 🌷
Thanks! Yeah, it actually turned out better than I expected!
Rotisserie chicken looks delicious.
Greetings from New Zealand
Thank you! Greetings!
Annie needs to chew her food 🐶❤🐶
Great video. Chicken looked awesome.
Thanks!
Try cutting a lemon in half and Wack🐊 it in with some rub and garlic and herbs the lemon will help to grip and more centered.
Sure does look good.
Looks good,Annie approved!
We only had a Cornish game hen, but turn out way good! Your video helped us work thru similar issues. Thanks TosTinMan!
Nice! I'm glad it helped!
Nice job and now I'm hungry for a roast chicken.😊
Thanks!
There are videos on how to tie the chicken & put it on the rotary. Cool video thumbs up. Btw, Call the factory and ask them for a new screw.
Reason those 5 buck chickens sell at Costco. Lol. Like anything experience will get you better at it. Looks good.
That's true! LOL
❤Looks crisp and juicy! Just like I like it
Thanks! It turned out better than I expected!
Gosh why are Costco chickens just such a good deal. The amount of money and time it takes to cook it yourself comes out WAY higher than $5
Don’t feel bad I got the same problem instructions aren’t there
Been there my friend, rotisseries are a pain to get situated but you did it 🎉😁
You got that right! Thanks for watching!
I've had decent luck holding the bar vertically whilst putting on chicken. Allows you to see centering and gravity working on your side. Happy 4th!
Thanks for the tip! Happy 4TH!
Would you try doing a rotisserie Cornish hen
Very entertaining and tasty. Lol Try the figure 8 technique for your string. That will be a nice cooker for you. How does Annie do with fireworks going off? Have a good 1. 🇺🇸
Thanks for the tip! Annie hates fireworks so she usually hides under the bed. Happy 4TH!
I always wondered about balancing out a chicken in such a small oven. Anyway, your chicken looked very good.
I always have to tighten the thumb screws for the forks with pliers because they do loosen especially when hot. Around here it is hard to find a chicken under 5 pounds.
I can't find small ones, either. They start around 6# here.
Oh, so! Another excellent video. I may have to rearrange my whole kitchen to fit in an air fryer. Comfee did send you the oven for free, right?
Yes! Actually, I forgot to mention there's a $30 off promocode in the description.
Great looking chicken FYI I think if you reach out to the company that made the rotisserie they should have the correct set screw for you and may just send you one
Thanks!
🙌🙌🙌👍
I have an old Ronco "Set it and forget it" Showtime Rotisserie. Love that thing! My favorite way to cook chicken. Glad that company sent that to you! 😃
Nice! I remember those!
Probably would turn out as good without mess put on a beer can vertically in a conventional oven.
🙂👍🍺
What’s the cost of that oven??
It's 149.99 but there's a $30 off promocode in the description.
Maybe next time a small pork roast or Cornish game hen?
Yeah, something a little bit smaller would probably work better.
I’m not sure Annie’s piece was around long enough for us to even watch her eat 😉you might need to slo mo that.
LOL
I could not help laughing when the chickens hit the tray,I could just picture your face,it seems like you should be able to adjust it up or down.
I had no idea how this was going to turn out. It was fun watching the video once it was all done!
Why notice how angry you getting wow at the beginning Oh Lord
LOL
Self-basting!!!
LOL
To much trouble😕
Yeah, it's not very easy cooking.
better than i expected! happy 4th weekend jim
Right! Happy 4th!
The tray should not be underneath, only the drip plate below the elements!
We made some easy cooking " chicken tenacity " last night. 😢we will use one of those gadgets u showed.😂🦬🐎
