Hey Doug, I gotta tell you... I watch a lot of UA-cam cooking videos. I’ve lost 35 pounds on the Keto diet and I owe it all to inspiration I get on UA-cam. You’ve got one of the best channels. I started watching before I “went Keto” but even when I couldn’t try some of your recipes, I watched because I enjoyed your approach to cooking and your enthusiasm for great gadgets. Then when you started focusing on low carb recipes I got even more interested again. I hope all your work is bringing in a good income because you deserve it. Thanks!
Thank you Doug, I loved this video. I’ve had my Cosori Oven/fryer for a week now and love it. I’ve been a little shy about doing the rotisserie chicken because I was worried that it would mess up my lovely oven. You have proved to me that once again, Cosori wins in the excellence category. A fresh chicken is on my grocery shopping list for today! Thanks again. Barbara D.
I got a fantastic deal on this oven Wi-Fi 1800 watt rotisserie the best deal ever $117 such a good deal I bought four of them I sold one to my friend...... now I have to learn to use it
Totally going to make this tonight --- I just got the machine!!! THANK YOU for the video
Great Review/ how-to video!! I can't believe how well it cooked the chicken! Thank you so much for taking time to make this!! It was SO HELPFUL!!!
I just ordered my whole chicken so I can make this in my Cosori. Thank you for explaining what that black football goal post shaped thing was for! I had no clue why I got it. In addition, I'm glad you showed that we should put the tray in below above the heating elements. This other guy (with a a different brand oven) just let it drip onto the elements, which caused a lot of burn smelling smoke. Yuck! He had put the crumb tray above the elements and said how that was wrong. Well, for the crumb tray it is. I hope his video doesn't cause other people to ruin their ovens. He needs to watch your video for sure! Thanks again!
I like your channel. You’re concise and informative without spending time on non-essential details. Thumbs up.
i don't have Rotisserie maker , BUT another day went throw my shade found the RONCO showtime , if u remembered set it & forget it back in 90s & still works & i made this Rotisserie chicken ur recipe here & came out REALLLYYY good & this RONCO thing is really damn good for rotisserie kicking ass still ✌👍👌 thanks
I have my chicken in the oven right now..this is the second time I made one following your recipe...we just love it, thanks
Hi Doug, just got a corsori and was glad to see you also have one. Thanks for being here.
Wow! Cooking and clean up looks so easy! That chicken looks great! I think this might be my next purchase! Thanks for the video!
Now I really can’t wait to get mine. Easy clean up is what I was waiting to hear. Your chicken looks scrumptious 💕
mzbrazell I can’t wait until u get yours chicken wings here we come
Thx Doug for the helpful tutorial. I just got the Cosori Toaster Oven a few weeks ago and wanted to try the rotisserie. I read the manual but your tutorial was much better. I had a 4lb chicken that I brined in orange juice and Lawry's season salt for several hours. It turned out very good, beautiful roasted color. Here's my 2cents on the rotisserie: 1) you need to make sure the chicken is trussed tightly so it doesn't flop as it rotates. I had to redo it since the chicken would shift as it turned and seemed to cause the rotisserie to stop momentarily. 2) My chicken was done in about 1 hr, 10 min despite being a bigger 4lb chicken. I did let it sit at room temperature for about 30 mins so it would cook more evenly. 3) It did smoke some from the grease dropping on the pan. I debated about adding some water to the pan so it wouldn't burn but wondered if it would cause more spattering with the hot oil hitting the water so I didn't do it. 4) clean up wasn't too bad -- after I took the chicken out, unplugged the oven & I took a wad of paper towels and long tongs and wiped all the surfaces down while the grease was hot. There wasn't a lot of oil spatter in general but it was all over the interior including the top. There is a gap between the oven's concave back wall and the straight drip tray so some of the grease goes down the back to the crumb tray. I am worried it seeped between the back wall and under the drip tray -- will find out tomorrow when cool. I will use a some Dawn soap solution to wipe down then. While it was easy to use the rotisserie and clean up wasn't terrible, I'm thinking as long as I brine the chicken (to keep it moist & flavorful) that I will just roast in a pan on a rack. I'm going to give it one more try before I decide to write off the rotisserie -- maybe use some foil to protect the back gap. Regardless, very happy with the Cosori CS120 which replaced my beloved Krups Convection Toaster Oven of 22 years.
Great video, Doug. The chicken looks delicious and cooked just right. Nice oven too. Thanks for sharing!
wow! I would love to take a bite of that chicken! thank you for this video! I definitely have this machine on my list!
That looks so good!!
Nice!!! I love the clean up on that oven!
Thanks for the demo, Doug! I'm going to try a chicken in my Cosori oven tomorrow. It's "dry brining" right now.
I like those rotisserie hooks much better than the V shaped ones on other units. Might consider this one--Thank you Doug
Thanks for the video. Looks amazing!
Hi Doug, I’m new to your channel and Facebook group. I can’t stop watching your videos, they are so good! I want to buy an air fryer but I like that this has the rotisserie function too. I saw your video on the Breville where you mentioned that the air fryer is an added feature but you would not recommend it for someone who is buying it just for that. Would you recommend this one? It seems like it did a good job with the wings. If not, which air fryer would you recommend for my first one. Thanks so much!
Great review! Thank you for sharing.
Making this right now. Looks so good on your video. Also, right now is smelling good. Peace!
You do a great job!
Thank you sir Doug that looks sooo good lol now hungry and it is 8:00 am in Newfoundland Canada i am too chicken to do one in my oven but have to try it right that is beautiful shining clean it sure does don’t show me that salad it looks so good
Doug you ARE amazing great video😊
That looks delicious. I am going to try it. I let you know how it comes out
That looks so yummy 👍🤤
Hey Doug, I use ammonia because it cuts through grease mixed with a little dish detergent in hot water to clean my cosori
Hi Boo, your chicken looks fantastic‼️. Yummy yummy👍👍
I might try that...I usually do beer can chicken on the BBQ
Looks amazing 😍😍😍
Hey Doug, could you tell me what the "ceiling" of the oven looks like, after all the spatter and how easy is that part to clean? Please and Thank you :)
OMG! I want to reach through the screen and gobble that chicken up. Good Job! :)
Hey Doug, where does the drip tray for the roti chicken go in the oven. Does it come with the unit?
Thanks For This Info...
I love multitaskers 💕👍
I sort of wonder how long the rotisserie will hold up. It seemed like the motor that turns the shaft kind of struggled. If you do rotisserie chicken often I'm thinking it would burn out?
Looking yummy
What do you use for a evo sprayer?
Does the cosori come with rotisserie shaft in box?
Just wondering i don’t have all those ingredients but could i just use like salt and pepper and onions inside
You dont need it all you need is salt, pepper, onion powder and paprika for the outside and you can put onion powder inside as well
Man making me want to purchase this as my Christmas present lol
how does this compare to the kalorik maxx?
That chicken looks tiny. What size will this oven comfortably cook?
I think Doug was more excited by the clean-up than the chicken 🤣
Probably....I was very shocked how easy it was. I had 2 diff rotisserie machines in the past that i got rid of because it got all gunky
I'm wondering if anyone with this AF has trouble when food spatters....
It dripping down the door and onto the counter top?
That's gonna be an issue with ANY countertop oven
I rub the seasoning under the skin.
Its only $5 at Walmart
Looks wonderful but how many more kitchen gadgets need to cook....LOL
I love gadgets!!! Its brings peace to see them there
@@COOKINGWITHDOUG My hubby calls me the QUEEN OF KITCHEN GADGETS SO I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL....LOL LOVE LOVE YOUR SHOW...
I like 👍 you Firts!
You axed him?
Mmmmmm... That looks so good! I think I'll get a few birds and put one on later this week. 🐔😉👍
