Practice is the best thing. I hated my voice when hearing it in recordings and I sang very, very bad but I trained my voice to almost master level and I created the best version of my voice. But you need patience and free time to do this. That's the only and the worst cost, you won't have better voice after one day. Also, try to speak slower and take a lot of breaths to create tension not in throat, but already in the lungs - this way you will sound more louder and confident.

I think hating your own voice is something most people deal with. In school guys with high voices want to sound like their lower voices peers, but those low voice guys want to sound less boring.

Dude, sometimes your voice never stops cracking. The "manliest" thing you can do is just keep rolling and own it. If someone calls you on it, just ask "why do you care?" And continue with the conversation.
I didn't search this. But I have a gravelly voice from yelling as a child,into my teens. I also have acid reflux here and there so that must've burned my vocal cords over the years. I was a heavy smoker when I was 18 but quit at 19. I smoked Dominican cigars on and off during my 20s. Also, I was a drinker of mostly bourbon and beers. I also drink coffee daily. I'm proud of my raspy, gravelly voice. It's unmistakable and some tried to imitate the way I talk. They ended up with sore throats.

When you recognise the voice from your company mandatory internal training - that’s a recognisable voice! One thing though timbre is pronounced tam-ber.
You can actually deepen your voice fr, in Marine bootcamp there is no suck thing as talking so your screaming 24/7 for 3 months straight. I deepened my voice and learned how to raise it over distance. Tbh all you have to do Is scream at the top of your lungs as deep as you can and over time your cords build up so when you talk naturally your voice is deeper and naturally louder. Combine that with humm meditation and boom deep voice
I believe low pitch indicates a frightened and stressed mode , with breathing and turning off the fight or flight mode you’ll speak in more deeper and confident manner
Singing deep and loud can definitely change your voice over time, I know because whenever I regularly sing high or low, my talking voice kind of molds to the pitch I'm getting used to singing in. You also need to avoid a raspy sound, so try singing with a vibrato.
Raspy sound isn't bad. Singers have been using it for decades, maybe 40+ years, without screwing up; example is Steven Tyler. As with this video, you need to own it with the right technique.
1. The deepness of voice is primarily determined by length/thickness of vocal cords which is determined by prior testosterone. 2. Speaking in lower voice is ill for your throat and vocal cord strain. 3. You can develop your natural voice still. 4. Project from mask. Area on face of lips and bridge and sides of nose. Breath from diaphragm. Don’t breath chest, squeezes throat and weakens. Breath from belly instead.

I didn't search this. But I have a gravelly voice from yelling as a child,into my teens. I also have acid reflux here and there so that must've burned my vocal cords over the years. I was a heavy smoker when I was 18 but quit at 19. I smoked Dominican cigars on and off during my 20s. Also, I was a drinker of mostly bourbon and beers. I also drink coffee daily. I'm proud of my raspy, gravelly voice. It's unmistakable and some tried to imitate the way I talk. They ended up with sore throats.

You can actually deepen your voice fr, in Marine bootcamp there is no suck thing as talking so your screaming 24/7 for 3 months straight. I deepened my voice and learned how to raise it over distance. Tbh all you have to do Is scream at the top of your lungs as deep as you can and over time your cords build up so when you talk naturally your voice is deeper and naturally louder. Combine that with humm meditation and boom deep voice

How to do it properly
I believe low pitch indicates a frightened and stressed mode , with breathing and turning off the fight or flight mode you’ll speak in more deeper and confident manner
Singing deep and loud can definitely change your voice over time, I know because whenever I regularly sing high or low, my talking voice kind of molds to the pitch I'm getting used to singing in. You also need to avoid a raspy sound, so try singing with a vibrato.

Raspy sound isn't bad. Singers have been using it for decades, maybe 40+ years, without screwing up; example is Steven Tyler. As with this video, you need to own it with the right technique.

2. Speaking in lower voice is ill for your throat and vocal cord strain.
3. You can develop your natural voice still.
4. Project from mask. Area on face of lips and bridge and sides of nose. Breath from diaphragm. Don’t breath chest, squeezes throat and weakens. Breath from belly instead.
That's why Mike Tyson ha such a deep voice. All that testosterone..
