Unfortunately Mark passed away last November leaving his massive collection of unrestored antique cars and trucks up for auction. What will we end up with?

That Pontiac is awesome! One of my favorite picks. We had a Safari station wagon that color when I was a kid. Rode in the back going up Pike's Peak from Texas.. ( yours is way cooler)

What web site? Can people still check on prices? I found the PDF that listed the Total Sold: $8,857,040. I must assume other items did not sell like the 1960 VW Beetle. I used to have one almost the same.
That red truck with the side rails I think was fire department utility, not funeral vehicle...

Truly an amazing collection. Lots of warm original cars - the guy had an amazing eye! Probably the only time any of us will ever see a row of half a dozen Volvo Amazon wagons.
Everything on the 6V system will be fine on 12V EXCEPT the ammeter in the dash, they will blow out

Was that building that the cars were in was that where they had been kept? as the place is so lean ,the floors are clean the cars appear to have no dust ..and so far im at 6:18 and have only seen one motorcycle ,guess the owner wasnt into motorcycles.

Did Mark Smith buy and sell or just buy and hold? It makes no sense to me. Why so many Volvos for instance? He could have kept the best one and sold the rest. But it looks like he held onto everything.
He did have a dealer license, not sure how he used it. A lot of guys have them just to hold a car collection and avoid sales tax and registration fees. Not sure
You get to see first hand and yes I like old rigs, your head cam just makes it nearly impossible to watch
