We really need to give it our all to the upcoming Netflix Onimusha anime to make Capcom see the brand still has potential, to prove them a RE Engine Onimusha game will blow up
They really missed big hype... When Ghost of Tsushima came out, people were hungry after feudal Japanese titles. They should have capitalised then ;-; Regardless, i'm super stoked for the Anime, and what it may cause :D
@@murad58 Can't blame them for not doing it though, back when Nioh was coming out and Ghost of Tsushima was getting trailers they were just starting to ride the wave of success of RE Remakes, it wasn't until very recently that these kind of games had a resurgence in interest by the public Oni was never a big moneymaker, it did sell pretty well for a game of its kind but it never made the same numbers a Resident Evil or Monster Hunter could pull, at least they thought that, DMC 5 completely proved them wrong
Ah right, so all the games are connected by lore and characters, in terms of what happens after Dawn of Dreams, I believe the new Onimusha Anime announced by Netflix might pick up after Dawn of Dreams, and hopefully spawn a new game in the series. ^-^ If you're asking about this specific video though, this is just a fan made concept by me, nothing official ^-^

Still, according to the leaks they've been working on an unannounced Oni project for several years and it's likely a new game
