PLOT:Crusading nobleman Robin of Loxley (Cary Elwes) escapes from prison in Jerusalem and returns home to find that the evil Prince John (Richard Lewis) has confiscated his family estate and is abusing the citizenry. Robin enlists his blind attendant, Blinkin (Mark Blankfield), his friend Will Scarlett O'Hara (Matthew Porretta) and Little John (Eric Allan Kramer) to help regain his home. Robin also hopes to woo the beautiful Maid Marian (Amy Yasbeck), but her chastity belt may prove a challenge.

The way Patrick Stewart rolls his Rs so naturally is just amazing.
Patrick Stewart is awesome
SIR Patrick Stewart was obviously directed by Brooks to roll his r's to his fullest extent, which he did gloriously. Another brilliant directorial decision by the great Mel Brooks.
It's in homage to Sean Connery's interpretation of the same Character in Kevin Costner's Robin Hood movie.

To think this was Dave Chappelle's big screen debut, and what a role it was! He was only 19 or 20 years old at the time.

"Sneezing guy?" His name is Achoo. The character's actual name. Maybe I am missing a joke here, but I still just wished to say it. if it is a joke, then that is what it is.

Such a great Cameo from Patrick Stewart. Making fun of Sean Connery's accent (from his cameo in the Kevin Costner version).
It was more of an ode because Sean wanted to be in this movie too but was too expensive
I was a little kid last time I've seen this movie in full, and I only now realize that the actor who played Robin Hood here was the same one who played the guy in "Princess Bride".
Cary is a great actor.

thanks mate, apprecaite it, COVID is bullshit. it's the second time i've had it, Not as bad this time as the first, but still... pretty bad, You feel powerless to the bone and very lightheaded, I've got ice packs on my head, and still doesn't seem to be reducing the fever. For real. These spoof movies (Austin Powers, Scary Movie, Men in Tights and I'm sure I forgot a whole lot of others) were the shit back in the '90s and early '00s. I guess they just kind of died out which is a damn shame.
Holywood for the most part has lost their creativity. Nearly everthing these days is a reboot/reimmagining of some other great work of the past. the rest uses CGI special effects to cover for weak story telling.

I'm still in shock that the guy who plays Robin hood is the same guy who played Westley in The princess bride, Edgar in Ella Enchanted and Lawrence Gordon in the Saw franchise. Man what an actor.
I always liked Cary Elwes. I even sat through Quest For Camelot because he voiced Garrett.
He was also in three different Studio Ghibli movies.

1:52 - 2:09 - why did they cut that part short?? He said "You've seen the last of us" after Robin hit him with those arrows, and they cut the scene off right before he said that. That line was needed to complete the joke. They cut off the punchline of that joke.
Just so you could comment explaining the joke instead of repeating the joke
