They don't make comedy's like this anymore
Comedies like this would NEVER get made now of days. People actually had a sense of humor back then. Unlike now, where 96% of the jokes would have to be edited out in order to appeal to "woke" crowds.
@@neillscott4192 So sad but so true.
@@neillscott4192 well said, no wonder everything sux now days…
That's the truth and these films were rated PG-13 which makes it even harder to be hilarious but films like Men at Work (1990), Drowning Mona (2000) and Beetlejuice (1989 and PG rated) we will never see that type of awesome comedy ever again. Same goes for action flicks that are now whitewashed and dumbed down for a PG-13 like those stupid Fast and Furious films, how did we go from Die Hard, Lethal Weapon and Extreme Prejudice to that garbage?
They don’t make actors like OJ anymore
Leslie Nelson was a comedic genius!!
Leslie Who? 😂
He meant the mexican guy singing Besame mucho 🤣🤣🤣
He always played serious rolls better though
He was a serious actor lol
@@donniecatalano Mandela 😜😁
The driving instructor deserves multiple oscars for this scene alone.
The actor was in Paper Chase and Silver Spoon TV Series
John Houseman played the instructor. Winifred Freedman played Stephanie, she also Millie in The Last American Virgin in 1982, 6 years before The Naked Gun. ua-cam.com/video/t5TJKVXEGWo/v-deo.html
It's none other than the legendary John Houseman
I couldn't stop laughing. Fucking hilarious
@@Ruoktoday1 Yep! Hey, can you see my reply I made a week before you made yours? I think maybe it's being hidden because I posted a link to a relevant YT video in which the actress who played Stephanie appears...
“Mrs. Nordberg, I think we can save your husband's arm. Where would you like it sent?”..did anyone notice?
I almost choked to death. Noticed that for a first time.
@@hoopyy782 first time I noticed as well. That line perfectly represents the type of comedy in these movies.
i only noticed that now and ive watched this movie a bunch, many hidden jokes in this one
Not in this video, but elsewhere in this scene, we learn that Nordberg's wife doesn't even call him by his first name.
I dont get it
How is this not named the funniest movie ever made.
Because 1st is airplane
Because it isn't?
33.3 was pretty poor compared to the first two, or Airplane.
@@listerofsmeg884 and Ayush Bhadouria.
Ok fine, I'll concede airplane was slightly better. But only that movie, because of how ingrained in my memory it is.
To be honest, they're both comedy gems.
Because there had not been any funniest movie before this one ☝️ this one was it
Because it's not.
The fact that OJ is in these movies makes it funnier
OJ
Actually
Didn't
Do it
Edit: Kids in the comment section-- 2 dead bodies and no defensive wounds on the alleged killer? I guess MVP Status makes you good enough to 1-shot 2 people. Tards..
@@DrCash7 then who did?
@@cooper5324 His evil twin, MoJay.
@@vestibulate Ahhhhhhh shhhit. you got me.
@@DrCash7 you commented this with complete sincerity, incredible
Goddamn perfect comedy..RIP leslie nielsen
He is LEGENDARY!!!
I had the pleasure of working with Leslie Nielsen on this film as an actor, and he was a joy to behold. He had this wonderful way about him with inspired nonsense. They broke the mold when they made him.. Priscilla Presley was a doll to be around.. Very talented.
OJ is that you?
nobody believes that
Ludwig: _"Lieutenant....."_
Drebin: _"The feeling is mutual."_
Ludwig: _"Er, nice to meet you too."_
The writers of this series and Airplane are brilliant.. @5:55 "... I think we can save your husband's arm... where would you like it sent ? " One of the many gems spoken in that same deadpan style.perfected by Leslie Nielsen
Totally missed that 😂
9:36 that truck driver reaction hilarious
Very good, well done!😊👍
Icing on the cake
😶😶😶!!!!!
@@jeffsims8270 let's see Paul Allen reaction
@@leeweesquee Who's he?.... a little CHOW or something?...
"Your bishops exposed"
..."it's these pants...I usually wear a fuller cut"
LMAO...
There is humor......and there is Leslie Nielsen...
What a Genius!!!
4:36 Never gets old LMAO
When life gets to serious...naked gun series..
I wonder what the devil he wanted?
@@jeffsims8270 funny jokes but to bad we live in 2022 this jokes is big no no😂
@@Saladin00Alayobie The accent and his facial expression...it's simply amazing IMO!!
@@jeffsims8270 i love it so much to bad we will never have this gold comedy any more thanks to the woke and sjw
I really miss this type of funny movie. Naked Gun series is the best and I cant stop laughing every time I watch them.
I don't know why they stopped making movies like these. These movies that simply defy reality and are absurd but completely hilarious too and yet everyone stays completely serious.
Well...he passed away....
Too many snowflakes getting offended...that's why.
What an amazing actor he was. I love his movies.
I am recovering from surgery and I swear these are better than therapy. Remember watching these greats in the theater. Was amazed at the people that didn't get the "intelligent humor!" There are so many great gags going on, you literally need to watch several times. Great comments! Sadly, I do not think you could do some of these gags today; too many sensitive types would get butt hurt!😊
Get well soon!!!
"where is Nordberg?" "He's right here, Frank" 🤣🤣🤣
No one talks about this enough!!!😂😂😂😂
The black turban guy joke was hilarious
It would probably be deemed racist today.
would of been canceled by the liberals.
RIP Leslie. And good luck, and we're all counting you!
Absolutely amazing moments!
Such a great comedy actor and sadly missed. RIP Leslie.
I think I remember the scene where he encounters “language barriers” when trying to call the police. That was the funniest kind of genius I’ve seen 😂😂
6:55 Nancy Marchand who played Lyvia Soprano. Brilliant actress. RIP.
this is the funniest clip lmao
0:17 has to be the most relatable thing I've ever seen.
I laughed my ass off. I agree.
Especially if you are in the cashier line and people are waiting behind you to get going.. The horror begins.. That bag will never open
The writers of airplane were crazy, same people!!!
Pure geniuses they were. Fantastic sense of humour they had.
Leslie Nielsen was the 🐐. His timing and delivery were impeccable. I miss him
Watching it right now, this movie never gets old.
I'm always amazed by actors that played serious, dramatic roles during the 60's and then moved on to do comedy and really pull it off. Leslie Nielsen, Norman Fell, Jack Klugman, Larry Linville, Ted Knight, we used to see them on shows like Alfred Hitchcock, The Fugitive, Mission Impossible, Twilight Zone etc etc Truly amazing!
That's right and don't forget William Shatner!
@@johnhanamy9795 I don't recall William Shatner moving to any comedic roles....
I actually meant it as a joke, reflecting Shatner's...unique acting style, :) However he did appear in the comedy "Airplane 2 The Sequel, "1982. @@eleven57icare
@@eleven57icare Airplane 2 or Airplane 3 comes to mind.
Am I the only one who realised Drebin is an anagram for inbred? One of Nielsen's best characters though 🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂 I am German and first had to have translated what inbred means!
It could, also, be short, for, "Contrived," when it is Pronounced, "Contribed."
@@xvxvu8949 "I know a Little German. He's over there." ("Top Secret.")
Legends never die.
They just lose weight.
Professor Shorofsky is the best driving instructor ever!
Leslie Neilson, just has a natural deadpan humor and was perfectly cast for this role
09:25 is quite possibly the funniest part of the trilogy for me
I wonder what The Devil he wanted.
Hahaha love it 😃👍🏻.
I love the supermarket scenes; it hits home.
Rip legend ♥
Thanks 👍
He really was a Legend...
the truck drivers reaction to the middle finger always cracks me up
"You're coming on to me... but we got a problem." "You're Jewish?" lololol

@@kennarajora6532 You have very good imagination 👍😂
Really loved to flash back to late 90s of America's Funniest Comedy Shows that makes me laugh harder & louder.
Live mike in the bathroom .. utterly hilarious 🤣
I couldnt stop laughing when i first saw this movie every movies he made is so hilarious😂😂😂😂
The best movie trilogy ever. Ever! 😀
First two movies is legendary, third one mid tho
Even though OJ being in it does make it funnier, the fact pricilla Presley is in it too makes me laugh more 😂
What about Presley? What did she do
Comedians who bring so much laughter to the world are great people.
Police Squad, Airplane and the Naked Gun trilogy were all Classics. If you love this stuff, and haven't seen the often underrated 1984's Top Secret, with Val Kilmer in his first film role giving one of his best performances (and singing!) you've got a treat in store. It's got many great scenes, from the pre titles sequence on. Look out for when they introduce the French Resistance: wonderfully silly.
Don't forger Space Travesty
"Where's Nordberg?" ... "He's right here, Frank"...(points to bed) 😂
My Leslie must be enjoying heaven he made so many people laugh and happy with his movies ... Funny face ❤️
"Mrs nordberg I think we can save your husbands arm... Where would you like it sent?"
😂😂😂
Can someone explain this to me? I didn't get it.
@@HD-er2cq usually if a Doctor says they can save your arm it means it will still be attached to your body!
@@AI-Maginations Got it. 😆
@@HD-er2cq also I forgot a big part of the joke, it implies that nordberg will die and only his arm will be saved.
@@AI-Maginations I got that 😆
Loved that Beavis & Butt-Head Reference

But I hate that show
Loved how the driving instructor stayed calm and serious. 👍🤣
I understand Priscilla Presley thoroughly enjoyed starring in these films and working with Neilson. I think we can all see why!
Nice beaver...I just had it stuffed!
He carved space in moving art history. He was a comedy genius...
Leslie Neilsen movies were legendary. RIP
The “..forget it. 😑” line kills me every time hahahahahaha
"I wonder what the devil he wanted"
9:36 the trucker guy face is sooo f'in damn hilarious lmfao
The teen driver and driving instructor still make me laugh no matter how many times I watch the scene. The instructor had perfect dead pan delivery.
His suggestion of dances with wolves, the rocketeer, and lady and the tramp is so absurd it’s hilarious.
Leslie was the best ! Great sense of humor
They acted it dead straight…the best way in comedy, genius 😂🙌😁🔥😎🇺🇸🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
7:16 my favorite scene this was so funny 😅😅😂😂🤣
Especially when he starts singing..lol
The part where he farts Is the best
That driving instructor seen some shit in his day. You can tell. Nothing phases him XD
The endings of the driving school chase and the mariachi band scenes woulda better be included though. Some favorite scenes here.
Every good actor has charm of his own.
But Leslie tops them all. Just best of the best.
The shower scene when they show the feet. It’s like frank is only one so happy to be there in prison. Everyone else is miserable. Lol.
"I wonder what the devil he wanted.." LMFAO
Leslie Neilson was a true Canadian legend.
Can we take a moment that this amazing piece of work can NEVER be done today. Long live awesome comedy. *fart sound
"Boyle was some detective. Hardboiled."
"It was a shame what happened to him, he was a good egg."
"True true. But he had this soft center to him you know. You just had to break through that shell."
"mmmm, indeed. So shall we go see his widow? Give her the bad news?"
"We drove around to see Mrs Boyle after a quick stopoff to get breakfast"
The opening is so damn good. Millions of people have encountered that problem already.
My kids are screwed because everything I say comes from a movie and so many times they just randomly yell out “go for it Stephanie!!” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
0:20 We're in 2022 and they still haven't figured out a way for this to not happen 😂 Cars were supposed to fly!
They do make flying cars about six of them but they cost a fortune to buy A couple of them aren't for sale yet.Look up flying cars on UA-cam you will see them 11:07 Then they have hover craft like drones you can stand on and jet packs
That first song is so catchy, most people probably don’t listen to the lyrics. But they should! Because it’s not just about the pleasures of conformity and the importance of trends. It’s also a personal statement about the band itself!!
Das ist die Art von Komödie die heute gar nicht mehr produziert wird.📺👍
Denn das waren noch goldene Zeiten.
Leslie Neilson such a versatile actor, loved naked gun but the scene where he accidentally keeps knocking Barbara Bush about slamming a door in her face or left his microphone on when he went to the loo hilarious 😂
8:30 Breaking the 4th wall for a tiny fraction of a second... 🤣😁
That shower scene: LMAO😄😂😄😂😄😂
The driving school bit was gold though.
As a nostalgic and a musician and film lover that song that plays as he walks through the door is so beautiful
1:56 - Frank's face right here 😆
That save his arm part, bruh. 😂😭
If you're ever at an event and Frank Drebin is the entertainment , you know there's a bad guy in the crowd.
I love this, I'd forgotten all about it, I'm layed up for a few days, I'm gonna binge on nielson 😂
4:35 - Oh shit, I always forget about this. "I wonder what the devil he wanted?🤔" 😆🤣😂
Thank you for compiling this. :)
The bleating when he opens the door :D :D
Super Leslie Nielsen, every film of him I'll die from laughing
I've watched Beavis and Butt-head before I watched Naked Gun, but I haven't caught this reference before! 🙂
My favorite funny movie. The baseball scene is my favorite lmao
Surely you can't be serious. Yes I am being serious, and don't call me Shirley. Classic Leslie......
That was some sweet driving Stephanie!
„Very good. Well done“ 😂
Only Lieutenant can be a frontman for a mariachi band😂😂😂😂
09:12 that poker face with super calm "apply the brakes..." always gets me 😂
A TRUE LEGEND
I love the teen driver lol
Extend arm....
Extend middle finger .
I'd forgotten about that cab scene 🤣
They should make comedies like those all the time - cant beat a great laugh 😊
9:25 "Stefany, gentilmente levante seu braço e levante o dedo do meio. Muito bom."
Que demais! 😁👍
Can't believe they cut the "Don't you guys have Spartacus" line
As the sound man at our church, I often think of the lavalier mic incident at 7:17, especially when we have a guest minister.
