Well, this is strange. I build a satin steel metallic 2022 camaro SS 1LE yesterday on Chevy's website. Today, this video pops up on my UA-cam recommended page lol. Congrats on owning my current dream car. I built it online for motivation to achieve it and make it happen. Nice choice of car, my man.

I had a black one ordered through the dealership and it took me 6 or 7 months to finally get it. A 2ss. I ordered it at the beginning of 2021 and got it in October of 2021, yet it's a 2022.... go figure
I’m still waiting on my extract same car I’ve only received the vin number 😭 I ordered December of lastre year and It’s still waiting to get load up on a trailer 😤
The facelifted 6th gens like this one are honestly so sexy. Pre-face lift looked so bland, this looks more “muscle-y”. Sounds awesome btw definitely get some headers for this beast!

Headers and tune would be even better, npp exhaust is great I would keep it, beautiful car though, that color combination with 1LE is just tight.
Driver mod and a manual would be even better.

Once you do Kooks LTH and X pipe it'll definitely wake it up! I just did that to my SS sedan with a tune and it definitely woke it up!
Avoid x pipes they create lots of resonanceand make the car sound weak. H-pipe is the beef.
I have the exact same car but a 19 with the 6 speed, grats on a sick ride and enjoy the cornering :P Go get a Heads/Cam package now with a good tune and you are set. This car is perfect to keep NA but have some good street/track power after a few key mods.

I got a 1LE recently, how is it in tour mode at highway speed? Is the drone noticeably worse because i commute on highway?
No noticeable drone at cruising/ highway speeds. Only when getting on it especially in track mode
I think with secondary cats it sounds deeper and meaner!
I did it mainly for the pops man totally worth it👍🏽

100% a bit louder when you get on it bro, and pops are insane in track mode

This could be a silly question…. But does a cat delete make your check engine light come on? And If so, what would u do about it?
It depends, the cats I removed are secondaries (aka only placed to meet California emissions requirements) and do not have O2 sensors connected to them, so no check engine light. In the case that you do an actual primary cat delete on a car, you would get a check engine light and a tuner would be able to tune your car and delete the code causing the check engine light.

@@KoolAideIsMyPronoun No problem man and yeah same… honestly, the stock NPP exhaust with a secondary cat delete is not bad sounding at all and for the money ($80 at local exhaust shop) it’s good enough for the time being. These cars are awesome man congrats I flew from San Antonio Texas to Tulsa Oklahoma for mine as well! Only dealer willing to work with me at sticker price lol

There were only a few online anywhere in the country like that… so with 800 miles on it I paid 55k plus tax. Lol. Definitely Over sticker. But I didn’t give a damn! Bought a flight from Jackson MS to Dc and drove her home. With zero guilt. Times are changing so I had to get on it while I could. Now I just gotta pay for her. Haha. But thanks man!
I think ot sounds bad ass I have a 2021 1 le track that's all done hasvall the things done to it if you are not racing why.seruoisly it kicks ass and will put 95 % of the other even foreign cars for a good run the way it is!!! Have fun with it I love mine i r aced a Ferrari stock from the line he beat me by maybe 5 feet so why change anything

Did you keep the cats after removal? Aren’t they worth some good $? Thought I heard somewhere that’s why these fools are stealing them off other ppls cars.
I kept them but only because I asked for them, exhaust dude left them on the floor after removing them with a pile of other forgotten cats lol. But unfortunately I’ve had a few scrap metal guys tell me since they’re secondaries they have no value. Not sure how true that is, will update if I end up selling them since they’re useless to me plan on keeping the car
What’s faster, the automatic or the 6 speed cars?

@@bryanaguirre. I guess the Mack daddy of these cars is the ZL1 . Sure wished I could afford one of those but even the SS’s run well over 50k , sadly still out of reach for me.
I guess will have to be content restoring my 91 Z28 and old 69 Camaro , would love to own one of these newer muscle cars though!
@Bossman_71 A very well driven, very sticky tired 6 spd can beat the A10 auto off the line and in rolls. Its 80 lbs lighter and even the old 2017 A8 spd was quicker than the new A10. It depemda on the driver in the auto off the line but rolls its 100% driver shift ability.
What size pipe was use to replace the secondary cats?
I believe it was 2” pipe 👍🏽

Did you get a check engine light?
No check engine, the secondary cats are after the O2 sensors. Just make sure your shop welds correctly because you will get one if there’s a leak in the weld!

Borla or your selling yourself short. Worked at a dealer with one that came thru and I will never recommend the cooks cookie cutter set up. Heard those at the dealer as well not as nice.

Exhaust shop just welded pipe in place of the cats bro not a kit
What tires are you running on the car?
Fronts are 285/30 and the rear 305/30.

Only secondaries bro. Didn’t touch the primaries since they’ll throw a code and you’ll need a tune. I’m just gonna wait until I throw headers on to do it all at once

What does it mean by cat delete
A catalytic converter, or cat, removes toxic fumes from your exhaust. Vehicles usually come with 2, but GM put 4 on the 6th Gen Camaro. 2 are regulated and required by law and the other 2 are unregulated (the car’s computer does not read them or monitor them). The secondary (3rd and 4th) cats are not required by law here where I am in Texas so removing them gives a raspier, louder tone to the car’s exhaust.

Hey man, wheels are the stock 1LE forged wheels with Eagle F1 tires. 20x10 front wrapped in 285/30 and the rear are 20x11 wrapped in 305/30.
